He's been in Syracuse all week, doing go-between stuff (for a real estate thing for his Dad) between two law offices. He thought he'd be out of there Wednesday, but his Dad told him he'll have to be there at least till Monday. So, it's not like he's purposefully blowing me off. And he still talks to me ALL the time. It all seems so crazy, but he makes me happier than I've ever been in my life.

My chef just called me in a panic about a complementary cake he was worried I hadn't made. It was the funniest thing that happened all day long, but I couldn't laugh because he was genuinely worried. I really am going to miss working with him...
