Well. I'm dressed to some extent now, but eh. Really can't wait for some more gold to come in so that I might buy a proper outfit.

So. I'm leaving my house for yorn in ... 19 hours! Holy shit. This is happening. I'm so excited. To be honest when you were first planning an extern site and I was all like "I'll visit you!" I wasn't sure it was going to happen, not entirely. Just because I've never traveled so far on my own before, and it is so expensive. So. I'm a bit proud of myself for that.

I'm also having a packing crisis. Shite. (like how I'm trying to use British phrases, etc. I've decided there are a few things that we'll need to become conversant in before we move there. The least of which is British slang. More important bits include understanding USD to Pound conversion, the metric system, the governing style and structure of Britain, as well as our rights as legal aliens. - Any thoughts on that?)

So. In terms of entertainment, I'm bringing 3 books (including the one you sent me), the kindle (which has plenty of free books on it, but nothing I'm dying to read, my iPod (which has none of my new music on it) , and my gameboy (but I only have Pokemon blue still so I'd just be playing it ... again.). And of course, I'll have my laptop. There is only going to be internet on the downeaster - for the other ... 9 hours, that won't be available to me. :headdesk: NBD! I'll just ... yeah.

For OUR entertainment, I've downloaded all of Sherlock and Series 5 Dr.Who as well as MegaMind... Yeah. I'm bringing a case of DVDs too, I had to ditch the VHS. It makes me sad.

So, remember how I mailed Maria's rent a little bit on the late side so that I could let this week's paycheck count toward it? Well, she left town early and isn't going to be there to get the check, so she asked me to deposit the money directly into her account. I spent most of the afternoon freaking out about that. For that reason, I haven't yet started to post in either Uni Students or EE, but I do plan on doing so soon.

I just thought that when you got to the train with WI-FI you'd appreciate a little message from me, letting you know how much I love you and miss you and hope that your trip home is better than your trip here, and that the rest of your break (what little that may be) is as wonderful as your time here with me was. I love you! []!

The ride back was so so so much worse. This baby put the first baby to shame. I blew out my earbuds, blasting it to cover the screaming, and I could still hear it.

So, several items to share today, in no particular order:

It's been so warm and rainy in Rochester these last few days that it's melted almost all the snow. I kind of wish you could see the green at The Club; it's really quite lovely.

Also, in the middle of all this lovely warm weather, I walked out of a bank today and it was snowing...WTH? The weather is so strange.

So, I texted my mom to see if she had $15-$20 bucks she could spare me. She told me that she only had $86 to get her through the week. I wonder what she would have said if I was honest with her and told her that I only had $23 (which I split almost evenly between groceries and gas and still don't know if I'll have enough gas to get through the week; I certainly won't be going anywhere superfluous.)

I got my paycheck today and was genuinely confused by it. Can you remember what time I got home on the days you were here last week? I honestly didn't think I got out before 3 any day (and I know I had at least two days where I didn't get out until almost 4) but somehow I only worked 35.5 hours. And they tax the fucking shit out of me, regardless. I grossed over $315 and took home $250. Not cool.

On the plus side, I have so much more food than I need right now I only had to buy milk and maple syrup today as far as food groceries go, so my lack of money isn't a huge deal.

In other news, I'll be back in Maine in exactly one month. I am so super amazingly ridiculously excited. I can't even explain it properly (for a lack of appropriate adverbs in the English language).

It's pretty rainy/warm here too, about half of our snow is gone.

God. She sucks. There is no time in which my parents wouldn't give me every last thing they had. I honestly believe that my parents would go hungry if I needed something. I wish you had that kind of support system. But hey, you have me, and I have a little over 15 dollars in my bank account. I can wire it to you or something if you really need it.

Also, you came home a little after 3:30 on Thursday, and a little after 3:00 on Friday. I think you should probably double check those hours. I'm certain of both of those times.

On another note, I read your blog and commented on it, I need to update mine sometime tonight or tomorrow - I'm getting the pictures all set.

Also - lost all the bee items I was bidding on. It seems I will need to save big to get them. Which reminds me, I'm building a new avatar. Do you like it so far? The only thing that I've seriously worked on so far (as you can probably tell) is the background part, which I think is perfect! Your input as always is welcome.

I think that part of her mentality is that because I ask for money so often, it can't really be that urgent. When in actuality, I'm just broke all the time. It's kind of ridiculous. I'm just glad I got everything squared away with Maria and the rent. That's a huge weight off my shoulders.

It would probably cost more than $15 to get me that money, and I would never want to leave you as broke as I am, but as usual, I appreciate the offer. :)

I will double-check the hours, though I'm not sure what will come of it. We'll see.

I'm uproariously excited to be back. We'll see how this money this plays out when April rolls around and hopefully I'll be able to get to Orono. I should only have to pay about $100 of rent for April, and I'll have 2 paychecks to get home on, and then another one to get to school with (so convenient), so it doesn't look too bad for me on that front. I just need to make sure to get my car registered/inspected (about $200 total. Ick.)

I really do like your avi, though with the current "Garden of Eden" theme thing the castle in the background kinda seems out of place. But if that's not the final intention then I would say it's very well put together. :)

I knew you would like The Mentalist. And Patrick Jane is TOTALLY sexy, though I think in RL I'd fall way harder for Rigsby *blush* He's just the gentle giant type I think I'm destined to be with. *sigh*
