i'm actually not sure how to ping people, i've done the @so-and-so but when i look at my post it doesn't turn blue like other people's 'pinging'... am i doing it wrong? and how can i learn how to ping? o3o

After the person's name, try placing a ;

To ping a person it's the @ symbol, the username (must be spelled correctly, if there's a cap or a space, it has to be there) and a semicolon ;.

So to ping me for example would be written as @ Seito ; (without the spaces)

And yeah as you said, if done correctly, it turns blue and italic. Seito:

And for further information for next time,

If you go to your first post, click edit, go advance

At the top where you normally change the title, next it is where you can change the prefix to things like solved
