I used to get a lot of scrapes and peeling scabs as a kid, so I sometimes find bloody fingerprints in my tweeny books about the Loch Ness Monster and such.
I used to have peely skin around my nails all the time that I'd pick and pull at, and it'd start bleeding. Because of the way I held books*, this meant that sometimes it'd smear on the pages. >> I remembered that when I reread my Harry Potter books recently and discovered that the first three or so had an alarmingly large amount of blood smears in them.
Hummy - I wonder if that's ever happened.
*Palm facing face, thumb and pinky on inner side of book, three middle fingers on bookcover - the blood would be coming my thumb.
Wow, woops! When I can't find a bookmarker, I'll just use a scrap of paper or something I find lying around. Never money, though!
That being said, finding money you irresponsibly lost somewhere is awesome. I love when I'm cleaning an area (like the attic) I haven't been in for a while and find a few quarters or something like that. The most I've ever found was a five dollar bill. I was a kid then, but I was still shocked to discover that I had apparently been so careless with money.
My parents always tell the story of how, on their honeymoon, they found a $50 bill on the street. If that's not the best day ever, I don't know what is!
My mom and her first husband's. They opened the wrong door in the hotel. My mom was really sheltered, so she stood there with a gaping mouth untilher husband lead her out of the room.

I also read only that post first, which made me think the same thing.
One of these days I should update my post. D: But laziness.

Related to the money-finding stories: when I was a kid, I found a paper sack of money at a fair. It had at least $80 in there, but I didn't know what to do with it. I showed it to my mom and we turned it into the lost and found, they said they'd see if they could find the owner and give us a call if they didn't and it would be ours.
I came back the next day to ask about it, and the people at the counter had no idea what I was talking about. I learned a valuable life lesson, at least.
Nope, it was at the annual festival/fair in my hometown. It's a small community thing not put on by carnies. XD (Although some are there since a company sets up rides every year.)
It's bizarre, random, and goofy. I like this parody, though. I think that's what has driven it to be a craze. I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to the song. I'm drawn to the wacky video.
