We could always have public voting. Set up a vote thread once we have enough applicants, and then have the public vote for their favorite? No cheating, no paying for votes of course.

Underpants art contest FTW!!! I can';t draw if my life depended on it but yes, I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing what kind of creativity comes out of our fellow Menewshans :)

If enough people would like an art contest, I wouldn't mind hosting it. I've never hosted an event on Menewsha before though :P

However...I did notice that user events can't clash with site ones so you might want to do it at another time.

We haven't set a date yet. And Mene doesn't have events for it's birthdays. As far as I know, anyway. We just got the Yumeh halo this year.

Mene has never had an event during it's birthday, it even suggests in the user-event guide, to host it in January.

My mule is still taking donations for the event, as well. Hosts, if you do not want to hold your "prizes" on your account, or possibly want them to go to a bigger pot, and then be divided up later, you may also send the prizes you've collected, or are going to collect to Riot as well. I will make note of them, and also remember that no Host should be accepting donations on behalf of the event besides myself, and that ALL donations should go through my mule.

I would like to donate to this event once I have been on the site and gotten more gold because right now I'm trying to buy a few outfit options. But definitely I will donate, I'm posting this now to remind myself instead of forgetting about it and not saving for it.

My suggestions on the thread posts is that you add one for enteries and one to keep track of points (if point based), one for prizes is also great.

On the fund raiser I'm not sure on how you plan on making anything from that. You'll have to buy the panties and then sell it but people aren't likely to pay more then you bought them for since they can just go buy them.

Lilith - Generally in "panty auctions" the whole point is to bid on the item specifically to raise money for the charity/cause/person/what have you. Like how parents and other family members will bid on 'white elephant' items in a fundraiser auction to send their kids to a school trip or whatever. Even if they have no interest in the item itself. ;)

Regular users won't likely bid unless they know why the panties are up for auction, that's true, but those people who want to donate but also want a token return gift will likely be the sort to bid in such a thing. :)
