Adam couldn't help but chuckle when he heard her and smiled, "please save hte heart attacks for later, tonight is your night." he said as he smiled at her and then pulled her close to him, "now then would you be so kind as to dance with me?" he asked as he smield at her. As Adam spoke he was being watched, Chad was here. He had seen everything and couldn't believe that hte guy who owned this place was Alexi's date. If he owned it then shoudln't he be really old? Then why did Alexi talk to him and act like this. It pissed Chad off and he was now glad he brought somethign with him to insure that this Adam would stay away from Alexi.

Alexi looked at him with a loving expression and she smiled, "I would love to Adam." She placed her hands where they were supposed to be and moved closer to him. SHe had no idea that Chad was at the party, the only thing she was focused on was Adam..

Adam smiled at her and when he heard the world love he wished that she was in love. With him. he wanted to be with her but she would never go for a beast. So he was happy with how he was now. Gently he started to dance with her and didn't even feel the eyes that were on him.

Alexi gave a sigh of contentment and laid her head on Adam's chest, listening to his powerful heartbeat. She had never felt this way about any other guy before.. Was she falling in love with him? It made sense.. She always wished to be with him.. She didn't care if he was a beast.. That was just an outward appearance, everything that he had to offer on the inside was so beautiful and perfect.. That she never wanted to let him go

Adam was surprised when she laid her head on his chest but held her close to him. he knew that he had fallen for her long ago when she first started to come into his life. There was something about her, she seemed to be the only person who cared about hte person inside and he loved that about her. She could see past it but he dought she would ever want to be with him. He then felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Chad. Chad glared at him and then pulled Adam away from Alexi, "get away from her, she is mine." chad said as he stood between Alexi and Adam. Adam was surprised and after he got over it a growl came over him, "she isnt' a thing, now get away form her." he growled and Chad just glared at him.

Alexi was shocked when she saw Chad come between them, and then anger, how dare he interrupt their dance?! Fearing that Adam may blow his cover she looked at him, "Adam.. It's alright.. I'll take care of it." She got between Adam and Chad and glared at him, "Who do you think you are barging in here like this? Get out of here Chad, I am not yours, I have never been yours, and I will never be yours." She narrowed her eyes at him, not backing down

Chad looked at her and smirked, "every girl wants to be with me so you don't have to be ashamed of saying you would rather be with me then this loser. Look at him. He looks stupid in that costume, it's as if he took Halloween a little to far. So why him? Why?" Chad said and took a step towards her. When he did Adam growled slightly and moved closer to alexi, if he tried anything he would make sure that she did t get hurt.

Alexi glared and shoved him away from her, "You look like an idiot all the time! I don't want to be with you because your nothing but a jerk to people! So get out of here!" She shouted at him, she was growing more worried, if Adam was revealed to not be a man in a costume.. But a real Beast.

Chad glared at her and Stuffed a hand in his pocket. "yeah, I may be a jerk but I get what I want and what I want is you." he said as he looked at her and moved closer even though she had made it clear she didn't want him close. Adam surpressed a snarls and moved between them. "she says she doesn't want you, so move it." he. Growled into chads face. Chad laughed, "stop acting all big and mighty like you are a real monster. Your nothing but a human, just like we are." he said as he looked at him and Chad noticed how they were drawing in a crowd now.

Alexi grabbed Adam's arm, "Adam.. Please.. Step back." She looked at Chad with a cold glare, "Get out of here Chad before I call the cops on you for harassing me and trespassing on this property." Her heart was racing and she was shaking out of fright

Adam didn't step back and instead wrapped a arm around her gently. He then glared at Chad and growled lowly. He wanted this man to leave right now. Chad glared back and when he saw his arm around alexi he knew he would do something about this. "fine I will leave but I will be back, I will have you." he said and then seemed to dissappear into the crowd. Adam watched him go and then looked down ar alexi, "you okay?"

Alexi sighed softly at brushed her hair out of her face, "Yea.. I'm alright.." She turned to Adam, "Thank you.." She was glad that Adam had not been discovered, but it was too close for comfort. She was actually shaking lightly

Adam could feel her shaking and trembling. "no problem." he said to her softly and then pulled her close. "dont worry, he didn't find out. No one is going to find out." he whispered into her ear and held her close.

Alexi gave a slow nod and she placed her hands and head on his chest, wanting to be close to him after all of that.. She knew that Chad wasn't finished yet.. He would be back..

Adam smiled when she placed her hands and head on his chest. He just smiled and held her closer to him, not wanting to let het go. He knew she had been very worried and he wished that Chad would just leave. Of he tried anything else he would make sure that henwouodnt be able to go after alexi.

Alexi sighed softly and she looked up at him, "You're a great guy... You know that?" She told him with a smile, finding it sweet how he wanted to protect her

Adam smiled when he heard her and kept her close. "now I know." he said to her softly, "and thank you." He was happy to have her this close to him and found he always wanted to protect her.

She laid her head back down on his chest and gave a sigh of content, she wanted to dance her worries away..

Adam smiled when she layed her head on his chest and slowly he danced with her. He knew that if that Chad guy came back he would keep him away from her. he would protect her with his life.

Alexi never thought that she could dance the night away, but she did. It was close to 3 in the morning before people started leaving. And so far nothing else had happened to rish revealing Adam

Adam smield as he danced with ehr and found himself having the time of his life. This was better then he ever oculd expect but then he felt something. Almost half of hte peopel were gone but he felt eyes on him. He wondered if Chad was back but hoped he wasn't.

Alexi looked up at him, noticed that he was looking at something else and she looked around to see what it was

Adam then noticed Chad on the other side of the ballroom but when Chad saw that they noticed him he ran off. Adam growled softly and said, "it seems Chad is still here."
