Alexi sighed, "I swear... He drives me nuts..." She stepped away from Adam, "I'll go take care of him, you stay here and tend to your guests."

Adam looked at her and nodded, "please stay safe though, I dont want anything to happen to you." he said as he looked at her.

She smiled and kissed his cheek, "I'll be alright." She then took a deep breath and walked over to Chad, her cellphone was out and she was dialing the cops

Adam watched her go but as he did he felt a hand on him and turned to see a guy. It was one of chads friends and he smirked, "chad wanted us to tell you that you better stay away from alexi, if you don't he will kill you." Adam smirked and shook his head, "as longas alexi is okay then I don't care, tell Chad he is a idiot." he said and the friend smirked, "he thought you might say that so he said that he would hurt alexi instead." that hit a nerve on Adam and he picked the guy up by the shirt. "no one will hurt her, got that." he growled into the guys face and the guy shook. The fear in his eyes were evident and truth was in it. He knew Adam wasn't just a prop, he was real. No human guy could have a mask on like this or have fur that felt real or anything like this. This wasn't fake, it was real. Adam then slowly lowered him and the man ran over to Chad right before alexi could get to him. He was shaking and he grabbed Chad and ran out of there before alexi could talk to him.

Alexi had not seen Chad's friend come up, she kept her attention on Chad. But when she saw him run off, she sighed, "Of course... Bloody coward.." She turned and walked back towards Adam, when she got to him she said, "He ran off.."

Adam nodded, "good, his friends tried to get me to leave you alone by threatening me and then you. But I set them straight." he said as he looked at her.

Alexi sighed, "I'm sorry about that... Chad can be such a creep... You didn't do anything to reveal your secret did you?"

Adam thought for a second and then shrugged, "I dont think I did, but I scared him so that he wouldn't dare do anything to you." he said as he looked at her.

Alexi smiled, "Aw..." She took his hand, ""Let's go out to the Balcony." She offered

Adam smiled when she took his hand and nodded, "that sounds good." he said and started to lead her out of there.

Alexi walked alongside him, glad to be going out and getting some fresh air

Adam smiled once they were outside and looked at her, "so how are you enjoying the ball?" he asked as he looked at her

Alexi nodded, "Yes... It's so much fun... Thank you for making it all possible."

Adam smiled, "I am glad that you are enjoying youerself and you helped too."

Alexi shrugged, "I just handed out invitations... That's all."

Adam laughed, "you did that but also got hte music, without you It would of never happened."

Alexi shrugged, "I suppose so...." She walked over and sat down on one of the benches, looking up at the starry sky.

Adam walked over and sat down next to her. "I am glad that your here." he said as he looked at her.

Alexi leaned against him, "I'm glad to be here too... Especially with you." She looked up at him and smiled softly

Adam was surprised when he felt her lean against him and found himself wrapping a arm around her. "I am very glad that you came into my castle." he said softly as he looked at her, "because If you hadn't I would of never met you."

Alexi nodded in agreement, his fur felt so soft and warm.. She knew it right then... She was in love with him.. It filled her with happiness.. But also sorrow.. She could not be with him the way other couples could be.. If only she could find a way to break his curse...

Adam smiled at her and knew his heart belonged to her. After she had found him he had started to fall for her. But he knew she wouldn't want to be with a guy like him, he was a beast. As he sat with her he heard something. Soon the doors to the room bursted open and a few guys came in. Chad and his friend was leading them. When they spotted Adam with Alexi chad yelled, "get your hands off of her, you thing." he said and held up a gun. Some of the others held up there own guns and weapons. When people started to ask what they were talking about they heard the news. They heard that Adam was what he looked like, he was a beast.

Alexi jumped up and looked at Adam, "Run! I'll hold them off!" She begged him, he would not stand a chance against all these armed men, it would be better if he ran and hid. She then turned to face Chad, "Get out of here you physcopath!!" She screamed at him, an urge to keep Adam safe overcame her, she did not care what happened to her, but if Adam was hurt.. She wouldn't be able to live with it.
She started to bring out her phone to call the cops

Chad was surprised when Alexi started to defend the beast but he guessed she was under a spell or something. So he reached out and pulled her into there group. "get her out of here, she is confused or something." he said and everyone pushed her. SOon she was being held back by a friend of chad at the back of the pack. Chad then turned his attention to Adam, "what ever you did to her your going to pay for it. Only someone confused or under a spell would want to be with you." he said as he got closer. Yet he was surprised when he heard a growl come from Adam. "take your hands off of her." he growled and then lunged at him. Soon Adam and Chad were fighting each other and you could see the beast coming out of Adam.

Alexi screamed and struggled to break free from the crowd, her screaming intensified when she saw Chad and Adam fighting, "NO!!" She thrashed about as much as she could and she started to pray for a miracle... Anything to help them!! Alexi growled and she slammed the heel of her shoe into the man's shoe, she would escape somehow!
