"Are you going to lose your mind if something like that happens again?" she asked softly, with a slight bit of apprehension in her eyes. He meant a lot to her, as he was the only male she could even stand to have by her (when it hadn't involved her work, and even then...) side. He was supposed to be the calm, cool and collected one.
She supposed that she wasn't too unhappy about the fact that he'd defended her, even felt a bit shy when he'd called her his fiance, but then again it was something she'd come up with the ruse in the first place, so she couldn't be upset or anything by it. She knew however that she wanted him to be able to help her with a clear mind, and that meant he couldn't do things like that a lot of the time.

Her question drew his gaze, where it lingerd for a moment before it moved ahead of him once again. He appeared to be in though for a moment, as if actually considering if something similar were to happen again, then with a sudden, soft sigh he would grin in her direction. "No," he reassured her, then nodding to himself a bit as if to do the same mentally. He had lost his tempter, but it would take quite a lot more to lose his mind. Normally emotions were not a hassle to him, as he was typically calm and collected, but something sparked in his mind when he encountered her now former boss. It was highly unpleasant, and the thought brought a sharp taste to his mouth. After a few moments of inning quit, he glanced down at her again, facial expression soft though his eyes were studious, curious, as he observed her. Whatever feeling she was drawing from him was dangerous to his way of life and he knew so, but he couldn't help but wish to drive it forwards, even if it meant facing ugly truths about her past. What he had to ask himself was if he was ready for this.
Ten the warmth returned to his eyes as his gaze softened-- he found his answer in his thoughts. "I will not lose my mind around you, regardless of what comes up," he spoke in a solemn tone, though his body language was entirely friendly still, "You have my word." Then supposing that he was showing his age by talking like that, one of his hands rose to the back of his head, his nervous habit driving him to rustle the hair there as his gaze drew off.

(I am sorry, my sister took my laptop and went through my stuff, that included my rps and stuff -_- I hate siblings sometimes)
"Alright... I believe you... It did sort of scare me though." she said in a low voice though she knew he heard her. She looked up at the sky and was immediately rewarded with a clear blue sky with pure white clouds which seemed to tell her to just calm down and go with the flow. Everything was fine, and yet she still felt uneasy. They had to go to her apartment, which was close enough but not here in this district.
"Well I guess the next stop is just my place... I have to get things..." she said softly, withdrawing into herself again.

( Lol, that's okay. I understand completely-- I'm very lucky my brothers don't live here. ^^;; )
He would nod to himself once before his gaze trailed over to her, then followed hers up to the sky. A slight grin perked up one side of his lips, glad to see the weather was so fine. Yet his actions plagued him. How did he let his self control grow so loose? And in her presence? He was ashamed with himself, and found his own past lurking in the recesses of his mind. As he then let his eyes flicker back over to her, she seemed distant, and he inwardly cringed to see the consequences of his actions on her.
"I..." he began softly, but then stopped himself. Apologizing again would do no use, he suspected, and he could not take back what she had seen. It appeared any connection the two had, however closely it bonded them, was still not good enough to cover up the fact that he had seen more than she had-- darker times of history, gorier scenes, more brutal implications from his fellow elder vampires. His actions would seem trivial to those others; to her, he supposed it would have seemed monstrous. Though there she still stood, by his side, which was a remarkable thing to him. It had been a long time since he had felt any sort of bond with anyone.
"Thank you, Divine," he murmured as one of his hand rose to one of her shoulders, squeezed it very lightly as if to show his appreciation of her, then let it go. He would then quietly wait to see where she would guide them, being unsure of where she had lived himself.

(She doesn't the cow... she's lucky I effen love her...)
She was slightly startled from her thoughts as he grabbed her shoulder. She felt a jolt of realization and was immediately remorseful. He'd helped and even defended her, and here she was making him feel bad. She couldn't pinpoint exactly what he was feeling this time, but she knew he felt a bit sad. The reason was what she'd said, but the emotion itself that he felt was too complicated for her to decipher, but that was fine. She was still willing to stay by his side. "I didn't mean to make you feel bad Victor, I just didn't want to not tell you the truth. I'm not scared of you, it was more the thought of losing you that scared me..." she admitted softly, while blushing furiously.

( Haha, she sounds like fun... )
It took a couple of moments for his brain to truly process what she had just said to him, and even then he accepted them slowly. When he did understand what she had said, though, her words struck some pretty strong chords in him. he struggled to find words once more, but his thoughts did relax from their earlier internal frustration. They relaxed some, but also held some sort of confusion. How did he deserve to be worried about so? A warm smile then broke onto his face, a soft chuckle shaking his chest slightly as he found one of his hands reaching for one of hers. "I'm sorry," he began, not meaning to sound as if he were making fun of her, "It's just such a relief..."
Then taking in a deep breath, and seeming to find his poise once again, he placed a firm kiss on the side of her cheek in a tender gesture. He wasn't sure how quite else to get across his true appreciation for her words, but he was hoping that may do the trick. "I didn't mean to worry you, it will not be happening again," he promised, then smiled once more.
"Now, mademoiselle, shall I be taking you home?" he added in a somewhat playful gesture, his head tilted slightly to the side as he observed her.

When he kissed her on the cheek her brain shorted. She was sure by the blush on her face and the heat under her skin that there was steam riding from her body. She felt so embarrassed and happy by that one tender gesture made her feel completely exposed vulnerable. He shouldn't do things like that, not if he didn't mean it. Still unsure of why her connection to him made her feel so close to him, she hazarded a guess that it was more than that.
"Home is where the heart is..." she replied in a soft voice as she turned to lead him to where she was going, even though it was obvious that she wouldn't stop blushing anytime soon. She was sure that he was teasing her, and she was just a bit confused and tense now. He made her feel as though maybe having a relationship wasn't so bad.

Victor looked over her facial features for another moment before turning to head in the direction in which she led him. It was a curious thing to him to see her blushing, to feel the skin of her cheeks flare beneath his lips, to catch her gaze deliberrately avoiding his. The sensation it stirred in him was somewhat addicting, and it didn't fail to lighten his mood. He did not mean to tease her by it as another guy may have to a girl, no, he rather enjoyed showing her his appreciation of her and did not mean it lightheartedly. Yet from how he saw things, he did not see how she would think it could be anything other than his fondness of her, so he didn't explain. That and he found himself blushing a tad in return of her reactions, though his smile didn't fade a bit.
He was happy, relieved, joyous in a sense to hear that she did not fear him as he had previously thought-- however great her words had been to hear due to the circumstances, they meant a lot to him regardless. It was not often that he was able to share the secret of his being with another, and when another did find out never had they accepted it. Even so, if a man had found him attacking someone in such a manner as he had her former boss, he mused they would not have stood beside him, lest embraced him to calm him down. She had done all of that, and he didn't remember a time he was more appreciative towards another person.
As they walked along the street, he moved quietly, his eyes trailing ahead of them though his gaze did occasionally pass over her. When it did, he felt his heart flutter the slightest bit. What was this feeling? He was too naive at the time to instant, but what he knew was that it was beyond their bond as a fledgling and creator. Even that was odd for him to think of. He decided with these thoughts that it would be best for him to explain what he thought of her decision of where to live.
"Divine," he began slowly, somewhat hesitant but wishing to be open with his thoughts, "I won't be upset if you decide you wish to continue living where your things currently are... As much as I would rather have you at my side, it would be no insult if you want your space. I would even rent out another, closer, property for you to stay in if you would feel more comfortable." One of his hands ruffled hy back of his hair in thought, and he became a bit timid. He did not blush again, but he believed having said that he preferred her to stay with him would have given away the fact that he enjoyed her presence. Moreso, he enjoyed having her stay with him so that he may look out for her and they may get to know each other easier.

"I didn't intend to leave you..." she said softly in reply with no further elaboration to what she was feeling of even thinking. He was very kind and even in his way probably less used to companionship than she, after all he was a vampire and that was decidedly not an easy existence. How was she to know if these feeling that were going on between them were that of a couple or just because of the close connection they had thanks to the circumstance.
She knew however that he never did anything lightly, so she knew what it meant for his actions to be like this. It was like somewhere in herself she just knew him better than she should. And that frightened her, because she wasn't exactly sure how it had come to pass or even if she should give in and let herself just fall into him. But if she resisted she suspected she'd hurt them both and that would be worse than dealing with her fears.
She stopped abruptly and turned towards him, her gentle and uncertain eyes gazing up into his nervously. He wasn't the type to hurt her or even to attempt to. She knew this with every fiber of her being, and she would let that be her guide. So far about him she'd not been wrong and he had not hurt her, had not given any inclination to do so. She recognized cruelty and it wasn't a part of him, which made her extremely glad that he was the one who had turned her and not some other.
She lifted her hands to his cheeks and then let them slide to his hair and gently pulling him down, she kissed him. She was embarrassed about how close she was pressed to him as a result, but it didn't matter. For some reason as she closed her eyes and just let her give in to the impulse she felt something in her give way, and let it out as a sigh against his lips. The kiss was gentle, hesitant and seeking.

His eyes widened slightly at her words before his gaze softened upon her. Her words were simple enough and needed no explanation, easily drawing a smile to her face in reply. He didn't need to ask about it further. Her answer more than contented him, and oddly enough he felt relieved to hear this from her. She wasn't leaving. Not only would be have a companion, but he could look after her, he could help her get used to a new way of living. It wouldn't be easy and perhaps she would grow to dislike the situation, but he viewed this as the best.
This was when she turned suddenly to face him. He stopped his walking so as not to walk into her, his steady gaze locking onto hers curiously. While he had no aptitude for picking up her emotions, the nervousness in her eyes was relatively easy for him to read. Had she not began to move her hands, he would've moved anyways-- his arms moving tenderly though with an uncertainty to loop around her waist. His hands rested lightly on her mid back, a bit firmer as he felt her hands moving up and into his hair. Naturally, he followed the guidance of her hands, slouching forward slightly to let their lips mingle. The sensation was a shock, he had to admit, and what was more was that she had taken control of this.
A slight flush of pink lit his cheeks, and though it took his body a moment to respond, when he did he was just as gentle and slow in his movement. His eyes closed, his body relaxed, his lips pressed to hers gently and slowly to meet her seeking. His arms tightened the slightest bit, just so their embrace became more firm, more confident. After a few moments, he pulled away slightly, just enough that he could look down at her. His blush slowly dissipated as he smiled warmly, with a hint of shyness in his gaze as it looked over her quietly.

Though she was blushing she didn't move or run away. She easily sensed his emotions, and could tell he was happy about this. He seemed to have been wanting this more than she had, and somehow she wasn't sure how she took it. But he was a male, and even if she made an exception for him, he was still male. Which meant that he was a desirous creature; she knew this was also for females as well, they happened to just be better at hiding it. When she saw his smile she couldn't help but respond with a shy one of her own.
"Um... I... um..." she couldn't figure out anything to say at this point. She'd come out of nowhere and kissed him, and he was definitely attracted to her. She could easily see this without her connection to him, but she supposed not many males she'd encountered had not been attracted to her. She looked like someone a man would like to possess, she knew this very well.
As she thought this, she leaned farther against him and even hugged him tightly, laying her head against his shoulder and taking a deep breath. Somehow she felt better, more relaxed, still at a loss for words, but that couldn't be helped at all. She was not the type to ever rush head long into things and she just did something on impulse, which was fast becoming a habit since he'd turned her.

Her responding smile was enough encouragement for him to believe that she had meant to kiss him, and perhaps she had liked doing so. Whether she truly had or not, he wasn't quite sure, but he could surely hope so. His studious gaze couldn't pick that up from her, but he didn't believe she would have kissed him if she hadn't wanted to. At least he had that to comfort his thoughts.
It was a curious thing to him at just how thrown off guard his thoughts were from a gesture so seemingly simple as a kiss. Of course, it had been quite some time since he had last enjoyed the company of a girl let alone kissed one. A long time, he mused, being within the reach of a couple hundred years. He knew all too well that he had had his reasons for keeping his distance form other, though, as well as he had his reasons for allowing her to become so close to him. Something made him feel vulnerable int his manner, but he welcomed the feeling in a way he hadn't ever thought he would.
His thoughts dropped these ideas as she hugged him, a small smile rising to his lips once more as his arms moved to hold her closer to him. His arms rose along her back to fold upwards, one of his hands resting upon her upper back as the other hand moved up to gently rest upon the back of her head. He held her there gently, so that she may pull away if she wanted, but firmly enough so that he could hope to give her the same comfort her presence provided for him. He then turned his head slightly to let his lips press gently to her forehead in another tender gesture.
"Is there anywhere else you would like to go after your apartment? There's a few groceries I'd like to grab..." he murmured lowly, lips still brushing against her forehead as he held her.

When he pulled her slightly closer, she didn't try to run. It felt so nice being in his arms, that she began to feel sleepy, which meant she was definitely trusting him. He was so gentle despite the strength she knew was a part of him as a vampire. She knew he would never intentionally hurt her and the thought gave her solace. She started a little in surprise as he asked her about her destinations.
"No, I just wanted to go and see what I'd bring now... but I suppose a moving van will be in order soon?" she asked softly even as she felt his breath against her forehead. She gave a small happy sigh and then moved away gently as she smiled up at him. "It's no real problem to go and then go shopping, but I won't be able to take much with me." she said almost as an after thought.

He simply held her for a bit yet, smiling to himself as he felt her stir in surprise. Had she been sleepy again? He rememberd her falling asleep at the table just the other day, and wonderd if it were a habit of hers. It was a good sort of notion nonetheless, for it seemed it meant she must be comfortable in some manner. Considering he felt himself relaxing as well, it was a good sign in his point of view.
He thought to himself at her question for a moment before nodding slightly, "Yes, I suppose so. I'll get ahold of one in the morning, if that'll do?" he offed, then smiling down at her in return. Then thinking about what she added for a moment, he would shake his head slightly, "No, let's stop by your place then return to the apartment... I'll fetch what we need a bit later." He would flash her a bright smile before slipping his arms away from her back, one do his hands lingering on her midback as he looked on ahead of them, out at the street.

"I know this may sound a bit cheesy or whatever... but what are we now?" she asked curiously, not flinching or snatching away from him as he touched her so casually. Normally, a male would have received some kind of vicious kick for touching her like that. She supposed it was just as well that she did accept Victor the way she did, else she would have been at a loss of what to do. It seemed a bit over the top to just assume things and get emotional about them.
She needed to know where they stood, what was happening, what she could expect from him. He was the only one she trusted and if he hurt her, she wasn't sure where she'd be after that... So she'd rather put everything out in the open, here and now before they went any further, she couldn't afford to get too comfy and then fall flat on her face.

With the way she had begun speaking, he had Beene sledging something entirely different than what she asked. Then again, he wasn't to be held to modern times-- something considered cheesy may as well be serenading someone with sappy lyrics and an evening stroll across some romantic landscape. Asking what their relation was seemed trivial in his eyes. This was how a flicker of amusement lit them, and as he grinned, he couldn't help but feel the need to explain this amusement before seeming like some sort of prick. "Excuse me, I just... Wasn't expecting that question to be considered cheesy. I suppose I'm a bit outdated, anyways," his voice railed off as he thought of an answer for her. It was complicated, or say the least.
First, they were strangers, then fledgling and creator-- that much was easy. Then came some skewed line she they had begun to trust each other, whe they were friends, he mused. Then after that, as far as he knew, they had drawn even closer. They were sleeping in the same bed. They were kissing. They were soon to be living with each other. In the terms of which he knew, it would seem he was courting her; in others, they might be considered boyfriend and girlfriend. How odd it was to try deciphering the proper term for them.
Eventually he gave up, sighing shortly, then rubbe the back of his neck as his gaze rose to meet hers. His response was spoken in a firm, yet soft manner, lacking some firmness if only to show his humility. It was to be expected of someone while admitting they were unsure of something. "I'm not entirely sure to be honest," he began thoughtfully, "I know that I care deeply for you, as unorthodox as that may sound... I trust you completely, and wish to see you live happily. Live happily whether I am involved in your life or not, though I am not sure what I would do with myself; to live in solitude once more after meeting you." As admitted so, a slight flush came to his cheeks and his gaze wavered away from her momentarily.
Then speaking up again, hesitantly, "I suppose, if you wish to define it, we can say we're, uhm, dating? If you'd have it?" then realizing that he might be wrong about the proper modern terms for it, he quickly corrected himself, "Err, or, perchance... courting? Though hi haven't asked your permissions and this is all simply my... Thought..." He became a bit flustered, his confusion showing on his face as he tried figuring this out in his head. His gaze then rose to her in question, uncertain, though he had made his intentions clear.

She giggled a little, and showed him a genuinely happy and untroubled smile. Somehow the way he'd put it had eased her mind, had made her feel so comfortable. She knew by the way he felt that he was just a bit uncertain and even confused himself. He was adorable, that much she could admit, maybe not out loud. He wasn't the type that normally had a relationship with people in general, so since she knew he was that type of person, there was no need to be scared of him.
"Victor... I think I'm falling in love with you... the way you speak and act. They let me know I'm not alone, that I don't have to be scared. You make me feel as though maybe the world isn't such a harsh place. All the things that hurt me, they seem so trivial now... and yes if you wish you can court me, however I think we're a bit too close for that. Normally with our situation, we would have been married for less." she chuckled softly and then pulled him close for another hug. This time, everything about her simply melted into him.
"So yes we would be dating, also boyfriend and girlfriend..." she said softly, answering her own question because he himself was not too sure because of his confusion. That had been the final straw, she knew she wasn't making a mistake by accepting him or by letting herself trust him like she had no other.
She quickly pulled him down for another kiss, this one urgent and a little demanding, still shy but with more passion and heat than before, she even nipped gently as his bottom lip to urge him on.

The giggle coming from her was cute, but what truly set his whirring thoughts on the back burners was her smile. He believed it was the most genuine one he had yet to see from her, and he found great relief in that. It almost surprised him how much the sight of her smile calmed him, his flustered appearance easing into a level-headed version of the same, bewildered yet happy guy. He wasn't used to this, talking about his feelings-- or talking to a girl in particular. Considering this was someone special to him made it ven more difficult on his part in some ways, yet seeing her reaction to his hesitant answer quelled all of his fears.
Her words were more than he had hoped, and more than he had expected in any case, but he found his reply to her confession that she was falling in love much easier than trying to decipher their relationship status. In many ways, his feelings for her were far easier to account for than something he viewed as trivial as what they were to each other. In this case, he knew exactly what she was to him in terms of feelings, whether he had felt such before or not. For this reason, to hear his feelings matched, he felt a warmth in his chest that he comforted his mind. Without hesitation, his arms moved to hold her to him once more, still gentle though firm with a new sense of confidence.
"I'm not sure how to express how delighted I am to hear that..." he paused, smiling warmly at her as he held her, "All of it. Quite frankly, Divine, I believe I'm falling in love with you, too. Everything about the past couple of days- erm, given the poor circumstance of our meeting- has been sensational." Hearing her clarification of the terms made him smile, nodding slightly as he took note to remember that she was his girlfriend; they were dating. He was sure, if asked by another, he wouldn't have been to answer that question prior to her asking it. It may just come in handy to know this, aside from his renewal of confidence and sense of security in their bond.
This time as he was being pulled downwards for the kiss, he seemed more ready to accept this one, or perhaps, simply more prepared. His lips met hers in a firmer manner, still tender with their movements, though he lacked much of his earlier hesitance. One of his hands trailed back up along her back, sliding up past her shoulder to cup the side of her face gently as he returned the kiss with a renewed confidence and passion that seemed to match hers. Something within him seemed to spark as she nipped his bottom lip, his tongue trailing along her bottom lip in a sly manner to return the gesture.

A soft gasp made its way past her lips as she felt a shiver work its way down her back. As much as she liked that feeling, something also told her to pull back lest she end up having to renege later and possibly hurt him. All in all, she felt a little dazed as she drew back slightly, enough room to see his face, but not much else; their bodies pressed together in a gentle manner. Her blush did not return this time.
She looked up at him with a gentle and loving smile that seemed to shine with a beauty all its own. She was undeniably happy about this turn of events, her ultimate decision to trust him with herself. Right now, each other was all they had and since he was the one who had saved her out of the goodness of his heart, what reason was there to fear him? He seemed just as emotionally undeveloped as she, and she supposed that was a good thing.
She felt safe with him and didn't mind the slight feeling of possessiveness she sensed from him. There were a multitude of new feelings that she wasn't quite sure of, but that was alright. They would find out and learn together.

As she pulled away, he slowly followed suit, an oddly calm yet more than pleasant composure about him. His arms stayed firmly around her, though still gentle with their grip along her waist. It would take little for her to slip form his arms, but they were firm enough that he was holding her to him gently. There was something that stirred his mind off into space as he looked down at her for the first moment, but after the initial flusterment of his thoughts, a warm smile slid onto his face.
He didn't know what came over him so swiftly that it stripped him of his ability to speak so suddenly, but he was most surely not complaining about it. This moment, he knew, was something he would cherish. Even if it were temporary, if things ended up falling apart- and he did consider this- he didn't believe he would regret any bit of it. It was risky in comparison to most of the actions the level-headed, non-confrontational person that he once knew had taken, but opening up his emotions to her was a relief he'd never known. Yet there was a newer part of him that was surprising. He wanted to protect her, not to the point of keeping her away from others by any means, but he knew he would do much in the way of keeping her safe.
A thought plucked at his mind then, painful though the only appearance this brief emotion would make across his face would be a slight twitch of discomfort. What if staying awayf rom her was what was best for her safety? He knew that he would pry himself away from her however difficult the process, but at what costs? Vaguely another thought then came to him. What of that vampire that had attacked her? Who was this? What was their purpose in the city? His restless thoughts swayed his wishes, and while he kept one arm around her casually, he would suggest they move along. "Perhaps we should go on to your place before dark?" he offered, a smile still upon his face even after such devestating thoughts-- they couldn't distract him from what had just happened.

She looked up at him a bit dreamily, thinking much to herself. She knew he was not going to hurt her, she was still a bit scared. What happened when she told him of what she'd endured to be with him? What happened when she told him about the secrets of herself? Would he still accept her? She continued to smile up at him, though her gaze turned a bit misty and her mouth trembled slightly.
"Alright, um... you're just helping me pick out what I'm taking for tonight, we can pack it up later, or just let the movers do it... I feel a bit lazy about this..." she said softly, tugging gently on his hand, her grasp light and trusting, not to mention trembling. She knew he couldn't sense her emotions as she could his, but as a person she was easy to read, body language and even her face said it all. She didn't want to cry, she didn't even want to imagine what could happen at this point. Right now she would just live in the now and be happy. Whatever happened afterward, she'd deal with it when it happened.

As her lip trembled a bit, it didn't escape his attention. His eyes widened slightly as he wondered what exactly had been going through her mind, but he mused it might be similar to his own thoughts. This was no help to comforting his curiosity, but he didn't wish to push the issue. If she wished to speak with him. She should know it was pay to do so. At least he hoped that she knew that.
He would nod and smile down at her, taking her hand hip with the same tenderness all of his actions orotund her seemed to be done with. "That works for me," he replied simply, then bothered once more by the trembling of her hand. Stopping abruptly. He would bring the hand of hers that he held to his mouth, pressing a firm kiss along the rim of her knuckles. "If there is anything else," he began simcely, "Please try not to worry about letting me know."

"T-there are things... parts of my past that are dark and dirty. I-I-I'm scared to tell you, because it might make you look at me differently. They are the parts of me that no one knows, and I like to keep that way, b-but if we're going to d-d-date, you need to know..." she said with a shaky voice, not liking the fact that she couldn't contain her fear.
He had to be told of the things that were able to hinder any relationship they had, such as her home life, her family, her boyfriends, her job... All of it, because in truth any of it could pop up and possibly make him doubt her feelings for him. She didn't want any of that to happen... So she knew that it was going to be a long conversation once they got home. A small shiver ran through her again, did she have any right to call where he was home yet? She wasn't sure, but she hoped so desperately.

Victor observed her slightly wide-eyes for a moment, lips parted as he tried to conjure up the right words for the situation. Divine was stammering, very unlike herself. Was she truly that afraid of him? He wasn't sure of host o correct this except for allowing her to tell him what she wanted then accepting it and asserting the fact that he was there for her. For now, he could only do the latter since they still had business to attend to. As he thoughts over how she must feel right now, he found himself a tad uncomfortable. There were certain things about his past he didn't wish to reveal, even to her, but was that a part of this relationship now? He decide that if she were to be open, then he would. Now was not the time for that, however.
He then let out a soft sigh, a small smile forming on his face as he looked over at her kindly. "Come here," he murmured lowly, moving forwards to wrap his arms around her tenderly. His lips met her forehead, kissing it firmly before pulling his face away a bit to look down at her. He knew that she could read his feelings openly, so he tried his best to convey it with his gaze as well as he spoke to her. "Divine, I wouldn't dessert you for the world. Don't you dare think I'd change my mind about you over your past," he spoke in a low voice, though it was soft in tone. The 'don't you dare' part was spoken as not a warning, but a somewhat playful manner of getting across his point. He couldn't see himself abandoning her-- he was already emotionally engaged in their relationship and that wouldn't change, he knew.

"Even if it was something that was detestable, that you would hate about a person?" She asked softly, pulling back to look up at him with earnest eyes. The things she had to say would not be easy to swallow, and she was sure that it was not anything he couldn't accept, but how would he feel about her? That's what she worried about, nothing about her past was particularly good. She'd been through struggle and strife just to make it to the point where her life was ended because of some manic vampire, but was save by him. She wished to death that she could be sure, but that's where her fear stemmed from. Because nothing in life had ever been sure.
