(Sorry about not being on as of late.Been really busy and stressed.)

"I've heard a lot about Gotham through a friend of mine.It's as arcitucural(sp?) as he said it was."Clark smirked looking up at one of the many huge skyscrapers Gotham adorned proudly."I just hope the food lives up to it's name as well."

"Your friend sounds interesting,to be able to describe this whole city is a history lesson on it's own."Kit chuckled with a nod."And yes,the food is as good as you have heard it to be."She said as a waiter came up to take their order.Once they were done,the waiter headed off to have their order fulfilled."You should see the city at night though,it is rather spectacular sight when everything lights up."The waiter returned with their drinks before heading off to take another customer's order.

"Yes,I have heard that as well,but I have also heard that the crime rate has sky rocketed since these super villans have gone on a killing rampage."Clark pointed out lightly before taking a sip of his iced tea.

"True,but as long as you stay away from certain areas like stores,banks,museums,and of course if you're rich it makes you an even bigger target.It's ridiculus how some of these criminals are so stupid though.Most of these small time crimes are being commited by your every day average joe on the street.The police are even getting scared to come out at night,and to make matters worse is the fact that heroes are dropping like flies against these super villains."She shook her head before picking up her straw,pulling the paper off of it before putting it in her cherry limeaide,and sipping on it.

"Yea,it is a shame that heroes are falling to them.No one even knows who's behind the whole things either,huh?"Clark asked lightly raising an eyebrow now.

Kit shook her head."Not a clue.If anyone knew,would you think they would be getting away with it?"She asked tilting her head to the side now.She jumped a bit when her cell phone started ringing.She pulled it out of her pocket and answered it."Yea...Uh-huh....Well I'm kinda in the middle of something right now...I see....I'll be right there there."She hung up the phone,sighing a bit."I'm sorry,something rather important came up and I have to go."She said standing up now and pulling out some money."Lunch is on me."She smirked,putting the cash down on the table."Tell them the change is the tip."She held out a hand to him now.

"Oh,okay."Clark said a bit curious about it,but nodded and took her hand with a light shake."It was nice chatting with you,Kit."He smiled."Would you want me to have your food boxed up?I wouldn't mind taking it to your office for later since you were nice enough to pay for lunch."

"Yea,it was rather interesting."Kit chuckled and nodded."Sure,if you want to.Thank you."She smiled as she headed off now.Once she knew she was out of sight,she headed down an ally before climbing up a fire escape on the side of one of the buildings.Reaching the top,she was greeted by her friend and mentor,Catwoman.

"Hey,Kitten,long time no see."Catwoman chuckled as she walked over to her now."I hope you don't have plans for tonight,we have a meeting to attend to."She putting out a purple envelope with green writting on the front,addressed to both of them and handed it to her."I found this in my room last night after we parted."She said lightly.

Kit took it,pulling out the letter within,and reading it."He knows where you stay,but not me."She laughed a bitThen again I'm not as high ranking on the criminal list like you,Catwoman."She chuckled,folding the letter back up and putting it back inside the envelope."So the Joker wants us to join him?"She asked raising a curious eyebrow now.

"As odd as it seems,Kitten.You should be honored.Something like this only comes around once in awhile.Just imagine a world without heroes."Catwoman chuckled at the thought.

Kit shook her head."Where's the fun in that?If the world was run by super villans there wouldn't be anything interesting to do.People would be to scared to leave their homes,businesses would shut down,everything would be slowly destroyed by the chaos that kind of rule."She pointed out."There has to be some type of order for the world to run like it is right now.What would be the point of doing anything at all if that was the case?"

Catwoman blinked a couple times before thinking about it now."You do have a point,maybe you are smarter than you really are,kiddo."She chuckled with a nod."Just don't bring that up at the meeting,Kitten.We are gunna be dealing with a lot of harden super villains.You chould end up getting killed yourself."She said sternly now.

Kit nodded after a gulp."I see."She sighed."Guess I'm not as hard as you thoguht I was."She shrugged lightly.

"Don't worry you'll get use to it eventually,you are still new at all this."Catwoman said with a nod."But I guess you'll learn that as you go."She reassured her."But for now I'll let you go back to your day job."She nodded before heading off now.

Kit nodded as she watched Catwoman leave before heading off herself...

Forge went to go and do as Batman had ordered, she went to one of the spare rooms that that hideout had and she laid down on the bed, for awhile she couldn't fall asleep. She just laid in bed with her eyes open, thinking about everything that was happening around her... How many heroes were there left? As far as she knew it was only her, Batman, and Superman.... Three left?
If there were only three left then they would be majorly screwed... Especially Forge since she was the newest hero.
Could they recruit people? No... They didn't have the time or the funds to train people to be heroes... And besides... Most people didn't want to get involved, they were too scared too.

Batman sighed and headed to the giant computer that he had installed into the hideout, he used it to watch over the city, since the bat signal had been destroyed this was what he did to keep himself updated.
He had a feeling of who was behind all the slaughter of the heroes but he really hoped that he was wrong, for if it was who he believed it to be... Then it would be much harder and much more dangerous to stop him.
He watched the screen with anticipation, hoping that it would pick up something... anything!

Kit looked around before jumping down from the fire escape,landing gracefully on her feet.She stood there for a second before heading back to her work.It was gunna be another long day in the office,but after tomorrow was the weekend and weekends were always her favorite.She smirked as she walked out of the ally and down the street towards the Gotham Newspaper office.

It wasn't until nine thirty that night before she left,but she didn't mind,atleast everything was done right without a problem.She walked through the lobby,waved the guard good night,and headed out the door.It was quiet tonight,only the rolling of car tires could be heard on the streets,not many people where brave enough to venture out of their homes at night without a vehicle,but even then it was still dangerous to venture out at night.Kit was brave though,it didn't bother her a bit how dangerous the streets were at night,she thought it was more peaceful now than in the day time.She headed over to the parking garage to get her bike and head home to suit up for the meeting with Joker and all the rest of the high ranking villians who were gathering in Gotham.

Once home,Kit practiced with her new shape changing ability.It was rather odd,but fun at the same time as she grew fur,a tail,pair of cat ears,claws,and a tail.It was rather astonishing how easy it became after a few tries of growing and retracting each feline feature one at a time.Chuckling a bit as she regain her human form,heading into her bedroom,and changing into her sleek,leather outfit,only this time she didn't wear the mask.She stretched a bit before she summoned up her feline hybrid form,watching herself in the six foot mirror she had posted on her wall.It was one thing going through the transformation,but to watch it happen was completely another story.Her ears twitched a bit with a smile."She's here."She chuckled lightly as she headed out onto her balcony and looked up at the edge of the building above her where Catwoman was looking down at her with a smirk.Kit tensed her hands a bit as her claws came out and started climbing up the side of the building until she was ontop of the roof,next to Catwoman.

"Nice trick,Kitten.Looks like you got the hang of it,but I'm rather amazed at how fast you took to the tiger head artifact.Not only do you have inhumanly abilities,but you can also change what you look like...In away."Catwoman chuckled as she looked Kit over with a smirk now."Bravo."She clapped."Now let's go.They're expecting us in an hour."And with that she took off.

Kit chuckled a nodded."Right behind you Catwoman."Kit said,easily keeping up with her without a problem.This was certainly going to be a 'fun' filled night.

On the other side of town,Superman stood ontop on the police station where the bat signal once stood.He shook his head as he looked out over the city."What ashame."He sighed,figuring out a different method to contact Batman now.

Forge was finding it to be rather difficult to rest, so giving an irritated sigh she gave up and got out of bed. She walked out and saw Batman sitting in front of all the monitors, "What are you doing?"

Batman heard her voice and sighed, "What are you doing out of bed? You want to tear yourself apart by moving around??" He asked her with a annoyed tone, they couldn't afford to lose anymore heroes... Espiacally the only rookie hero in exsistence at the moment

"I couldn't rest... Not with this worry in my mind." She looked up at the screens, "What's going on tonight?"

Batman gave a soft sigh, knowing that it would be pointless to send her off to rest at that moment, "I"m scanning the city to see if anything is happening.... I believe that their is going to be a gathering.... But I can't figure out where..."

Forge sighed, "What if we tried to contact Superman? So that he could help look?"

Batman scoffed lightly, "I don't even have a way to communicate with him, not since they knocked out the tower we used for all the radios..."

Forge nodded slowly, remembering that day very well, they lost two heroes that day.... "Well... He's got that really good hearing doesn't he? What if we try to.... talk to him?"

Batman looked back at her, "That would never work... This fortress was build so that no one could overhear or look inside..."

Forge raised a brow, "What if we went outside?"

Batman stared at her for a bit, this poor idiotic rookie..... He sighed again and put his attention back to the screen, "Go back to rest... there's nothing that you can do for us now."

Meanwhile in a rather remote side of Gotham; Joker was waiting for all of his followers to come and attend the little meeting that he had planned. He was rather excited for it for he kept humming and getting up every few minutes to do something, he just couldn't sit still!

"I'm glad you can finally keep up,Kitten.Usually you're about a building or two behind me."Catwoman chuckled looking over at Kit as they ran side by side as they headed outside of Gotham.

"Thanks."Kit grinned looking over at her mentor,keeping an eye on the scenery as the buildings started to thin out now.After a while the building started to thin out and before to long they had to travel on the ground.It was looking rather bare before they came up to a worn out,old abandon factory."Is this it?"She asked as they stopped infront of it.She looked around,sniffing the air.They weren't alone or the only ones now showing up for the meeting,she looked around as some pulled up in vehicles ranging from limos to pick-up trucks.Every super villain known in the world looked like they showed up.She gulped a bit,now feeling a bit nervous being around some of the most dangerous people in the world.

"Don't show them no fear.They see it and they'll eat you alive."Catwoman whispered quietly under her breath as she looked at Kit,gesturing for her to follow her inside.

Kit nodded,following after her,lightly glancing around them,taking note of who was here.Her senses were going crazy as each person walked passed her,so many scents and sounds around them.Keeping up with them all was almost to much at once,but she manged to keep her calm as they walked inside almost in a two by two line going inside.

Kit glanced around inside the huge building,it was set up like an auditorium with rows apon rows of chairs for every villain here facing a stage infront on them all.Each one of them taking a seat with their name on it,she was amazed how organised this meeting of villains was.She followed after Catwoman to their seats that were only a few rows back from the very from the stage.After taking their seats,Kit took her chance and started looking around and seeing who was all here.Every villain she had ever heard of was here waiting to see why the Joker had called them all here.

Sighing heavily,Superman lifted up off the rooftop,rising up to see the city.Once he was high above the city,he looked around using his enhanced vision to find any way possible to contact Batman.It was important he did,the information he had gathered had to be shared."He has to have cameras somewhere."He muttered looking before he spotted something that didn't belong where it was,but it was cleverly put there by only one person.Smirking a bit,he flew down to it,in plain view of the well placed camera."I doubt you have sound to it,but I know you can read lips,Batman.Meet me ontop of the Gotham newspaper.I have some info to share with you."He said before flying away to wait for Batman to come.

So far there was no one on stage, it wasn't until everyone had taken there place that there seemed to be some action on stage. A cloud of smoke appeared and a cackle could be heard, "Ladies and gentlemen! Crooks and Gangsters! Welcome to the Villian Extravanganza!!"
The smoke slowly faded away and Joker stood on stage, wearing a top hat and carrying a cane, "Well your an ugly looking crowd!" He said with a giggle. He moved to the front of the stage, "I suppose that you are all wondering why I called you here! Right?? Am I right??" He raised his hands, waiting for an answer, when he heard the audience's silence he sighed, "Sheesh! Tough crowd." He muttered under his breath, "Never mind that though!"

Batman almost jumped out of his skin when he saw Superman's face in the camera, Superman was wrong about one thing, the camera's did have sound. He listened to Superman message and got up, "I'll be back."

Forge trailed after him, "I'm coming with you." She wanted to see Superman... and hear what he had to say.... Though mostly to see him

Batman scoffed, "Obsolutely not, you'll fall apart before you even get there! You need to be resting."

"I'll rest as much as I want to when I return, I have just as much right to hear what is going on."

Batman stopped walking and sighed, "Fine... But after that you are to rest and stay out of my sight... Understand?"

Forge smiled, "Yessir!"

Batman sighed, he reached a delima... He wouldn't be able to use the Bat Jet to get them there....

Forge seemed to read his mind, "You know... I could fly us there.."

Batman grumbled a bit, his way of agreeing.

Forge smiled and reached out, some scrap metal formed into wings which then attached to her back. The wings started flapping and she got off the ground, she flew over to Batman and picked him up, "Hold on." She flew out the secret exit and flew towards the building that Superman had told them to go to. Her side hurt a little but she ignored it as she flew.
She flew up high enough so that no one would be able to think that it was two people, they would think it was just a vulture

Kit looked around at the crowd before the joker took to the stage.This surely was an odd meeting of criminals,but then again their host was the oddest odd ball of them all.She knew how unstable this guy was since she was one of the top reporters to cover some of his clinically insane motives for doing what he can,whenever he felt like doing it.He was a ticking time bomb with no set time and it made her a bit uneasy having to sit here in this psychopath's presence,but then again she had to be a bit crazy herself for being here.

Catwoman chuckled to herself now,the Joker really did know how to make an entrance.She was having to much fun watching him up there and have no one even gave him any applause.She haven't had this much entertainment since she last encountered Batman,she loved always proving to him that he could never catch her.She glanced around at the crowd now as they kept silent,she forced herself to stifle a laugh at this.Was this meeting called for was a real host,but then again she was curious to know if Joker was behind the deaths of heroes or if it was someone else pulling the strings.

Superman stood on top of Gotham's Newspaper rooftop,waiting for Batman to show.It was rather quiet for a night in Gotham,even with his super hearing it was quiet.He glanced around the streets now,only a few people could be seen walking the streets,but nothing that like trouble though.Where were the criminals and super villains?
