"Ok, that sounds good. We shouldn't be more then an hour. Have a good time. And thanks for taking the stuff back. Ready to go hunny?" Dick stood up and takes Elizabeth's hand. They walked to a near by toy store that happend to be very large. "What would you like to look at first?"

Raven nodded, before heading back to the tower, where she had left the stuff, and took her break.

Elizabeth looked around the store. " Doll house, and dolls first" She told her father with a big smile. Seconds after saying that she dragged him over towards the doll stuff.

Dick followed slowly behind his daughter. This was the thing he had hoped the most that she wouldn't want. It was almost scary with all those glass eyes looking at you. But his daughter seemed to like them so he could deal with it. "Which ones do you like?"

" No Daddy, not those dolls, they made of glass there are very breakable. I want barbie dolls and a baby doll or two." She said, pulling her father away from the glass dolls. She then spotted a big doll house, her face light up in aw of it.

Dick stared at the giant house. "Wow, Barbie makes a lot of money. If you really want it we can get it. But we are only going to spend $300 here. That she be enough to start with."

Elizabeth nodded," I really want it" She said. She didn't mind the limit so much. After that she picked out a cheap red convertible, a few outfits for the barbies, two girl barbies one blond, the other with black hair. She also picked out a Ken doll. She found a nice baby doll that came in a pack with some bottles, and another outfit. She then picked out a few puzzles and coloring books. All in all it came to like two dollars under her limit. " Is this stuff alright?" She asked.

Dick watched the girl shop like a pro. She even stayed within the limit without help. This child's math skills were amazing. Later he would have to give her another test. "I think you did a wonderful job hunny. But I think I'll add a few things. They'll be outside the limit." He headed over to a small book section and picked up a collection of fairy tales, a collection that contained all of the Narnia series, and a picture books. "The love of reading starts young. Let's go up to the front and pay. Then we can go home and show mommy all the wonderful stuff you got." He headed up to the front and paid for everything.

Elizabeth nodded and beamed. She was very happy that her Daddy said she did a good job. " Thank you Daddy" She said happily.

He left the store one arm weighted down by bags and his other hand clasped around his daughters. After paying he had realized that the house was in a giant box. It looked like the thing was whole inside the box. He wouldn't be able to carry it and hold on to Elizabeth's hand and he wasn't going to let her walk around free. He guessed he could come back later but he just wanted to go home and relax for a little bit. After explaining to the workers that he had walked there they managed to rig up a backpack for it. It was really just tied to his back but it worked. It wasn't larger or heavy enough to bother him.

"All this walking must be making you tired. How are you doing?"

Elizabeth was holding one of the bags, trying to help her father out a little bit. She was rather worn out. It had been a long day of walking, and shopping. She yawned slightly. " I'm fine Daddy" She mumbled softly.

Dick thought about picking her up and carrying the rest of the way since they were almost back. "If you want I can carry you the rest of the way. It has been a busy day. If you hold on it shouldn't be too hard."

He smiled down at her. She was such a strong little girl. Even trying to help out when she was tired.

" No, Daddy. I can walk. Your already carrying a lot of stuff" Elizabeth said softly.

Dick smiled down at Elizabeth. She really was amazing. "Ok, hunny. You really are a big help."
The reached the tower soon after. When they reached the common areas Dick called out "Raven, we're back."

Elizabeth beamed," Thank you Daddy" She said happily.

Raven walked out from the kitchen holding a cup of tea." Hello"

"Show mommy all the toys you got. I'll start working on bringing the stuff up." Dick turned and walked down to the garage and slowly started bringing up the smaller things. He would need help with the bed but he could move the rest of it.

Elizabeth nodded, she started showing her mother, all the dolls, the house, the books and her other things she got.

Raven smiled down at her child," That's great sweetie" She said.

Dick came back up stairs with the chairs and went back down for more. He soon had all of the small stuff and would need help with anything else. He walked back into the room where Raven and Elizabeth were. "Hey Raven can you help me with the bed?"

" Of course I can help you with it" Raven told him. She had no problem helping him with the bed.

Dick nodded and headed back to the garage with Raven. When they reached the truck he turned to Raven. "We can carry it the old fashion way or it might be easier if you use your powers. Then I can take the truck back?"

Raven is followed him, and thought about what he said for a moment," Sure, I'll carry it back with my powers" She told him. She said her phrase before the bed was following after her.

Dick watched Raven walk away with the floating bed following her. He was confident in himself and his skills but he was amazed by powers. He turned when she had disappeared from view and got into the truck. He drove the druck back and started the walk back.

He thought while he was walking. So much had changed. He had a child, the woman who at this moment should have been his wife no longer would speak to him, he was living with the mother of his child and his once girlfriend, he had left his old team and all his stuff, and he wasn't too upset about any of it. Tomorrow he would go down and get his stuff. He would talk to the team. And then he would come back here and set up his base here, at least for awhile.

He reached the tower and walked back upstairs.

Raven took the bed to Elizabeth's room. She set the bed down, and then went to check on her daugther. She smiled finding her asleep on the couch. She went and put a blanket on her. So much had changed in the last few days, She still could hardly believe it.

Dick walked in to find Elizabeth sleeping on the coach. Good he and Raven could talk. "Raven would you mind coming and talking to me in my room for a moment?"

Raven looked up at Dick. She wanted to say no, make some excuse and run. Yet she knew that she couldn't, not with him living here. She nodded," Alright" She said softly.

Dick led the way to his room and let her walk in first. He walked inside and shut the door behind him. He walked around Raven over to his bed. He swung down and reached under his bed. He pulled out one of his safe boxes and dragged it out. It was half as long as his bed, was just an inch below his bed, and almost as wide. Because of this he had left the box here when he had moved the first time. He punched in the code and opened the box. He had put most of the party supplies in there. The pinata was in the closet and the gift was hidden in a chest.

"I wanted to talk about Elizabeth's birthday party. During my little shopping trip I bought a lot of the supplies and stuff but I wanted to see what you thought of the stuff. I was thinking of a suprise party." He looked over at Raven and smiled.
