Normally Dick would have been calm but he had thought Slade was gone. Now all he wanted to do was hold his daughter. Living in this place she had gotten use to the violence and drama but she was still innocent and that was what he needed. He went and found his daughter with Beast Boy and simply picked her up and held her. After a moment he walked, carrying her with him, to Raven. He knew Garfield followed him but it made him happy. He felt slightly better with his weird little family. "Find anything Raven? The device wasn't anyting but a recorder."

[[ Yes, I am alive. I think. School trying to kill me, lol. Yay, Glad to hear that, and idk about the blood. It's Jerchio's vest, but we never decided besides that. So you can decide.]]

Elizabeth looked at her Father confused, yet she didn't protest. " Hi Daddy" She said with a bright smile.

Raven turned to looked at him," No nothing yet. The computer hasn't found anything." She said. Raven currnetly stood in front of the vest blocking it from Elizabeth's view, she had already seen too much violence lately, and she didn't want to scare or scar the child anymore.

((Nasty school. Trying to kill everyone. Anyways... how about a random villain? I don't want to kill off or hurt any of the big characters but I still can't remember what I was thinking.))

Dick looked down at Elizabeth. "Hey Baby Girl."

"I don't know what to do about all this. And why is it that the fastest man on the world takes so long to get something this important?

[[Mhmm k.]]

Moments later the computer beeped. Raven looked at the results. " That's odd. It seems what was on the vest is from, Dr. Light" Raven said.

Elizabeth looked at her father," Huh? Daddy what are you talking about?"

"Oh, I'm talking about a man who wears a red spandex outfit who can run around the world in under a minute taking too long to get here. I'm sorry I bothered you. How about you go play with BB some more?" He looked around for a moment looking for something then walked over to the side of the room. He bent over to pick a ball up, in the process turning Elizabeth upside down, then walked back over to Beast Boy. "You guys could play fetch." He put her down and watched as Beast Boy changed to a dog and ran off.

He waited for her to leave before turning to Raven. "Dr. Light? Wasn't he some low rank villain? Didn't hurt anyone or steal anything. Just kind of laughed and pointed a 'gun' that shot light out. Which was a barely powered up flash light. Why would Jericho hurt him? I was expecting something bigger."

" Oh I see" She said. She smiled and nodded at her Daddy. "Alright come on best boy" She said, rushing off with him.

" Yeah, he's the guy scared of the Darkness." Raven said. She mused over it," I'm not sure, maybe it just something to throw us off our a tracks. I'm not sure, your suppose to be the Genesis at these things" Raven said.

"Hey, I've dealt with crazy but at least you could see the path Joker was taking. Even in the crazyness you could see a pattern. But Jericho? He comes here to join the team and freaks out when he sees you. Then he runs off not to be seen again. We go to look for him and find evidence that he has had contact with Slade, and why? Slade has never fought against any of the other heroes. We find blood on Jericho's vest but it isn't his or Slade. That would make sense. No, instead it is the blood, and enough of it for us to guess that the Dr. is dead, of a minor villain who is beaten with darkness. Why would Jericho kill anyone. Even if he was just there when it happened, where is he? Of all the heroes he is one of the few I would think would be the hardes to hold." He shook his head.

((I'm going to bed here in a bit. In my next post I'll bring Flash (Barry) in. Where would you like this to head? The Legaue take it over and it comes back to us later? Or them tell us to handle it? Or something else?))

[[ I'm not sure. I believe the League could take over looking for him[Jericho]. Then somehow, like with Slade's returned we can be brought into the madness, and maybe figure out what happened. I also really wanna do something with an angry mind controlled Starfire.]]

Raven mused for a few seconds," You right it sounds crazy, but recall Jericho has the power to take over a person, and put his self in their head. All he needs is one person, with a really messed up mind, and he could start losing it. As for Slade, there are two options either Slade is controlling him till he's useless, or they are somehow related, and he's trying to save him. For the Dr. Light part, I'm not sure, unless he just losted it and Killed him by mistake. " Raven said.

((Sounds good. And I like the idea about Starfire.))

Before Dick could say anything he was destracted as Flash was beemed into the room.

"Sorry it took me so long. Another problem has popped up. But first, I need the stuff you found and anything you found out about it."

Dick handed him the little device. "It just lops a message. It doesn't transmit or have anything else going on." He waited for Raven to answer the other half. I wonder what happened.

" Alright." Raven handed him the blood covered vest. " The blood according to the computer is from Dr. Light, he was a low time level villain." Raven said. She mused for a moment," The other thing that delayed you, should we be concerned about it" Raven said.

[[ Yay!. Maybe she could either try to hurt Raven or the kid at different times, because she lost Dick.]]

Flash took the items and listened. At Raven's question he walked to Nightwing and put his hand on his shoulder. "We recieved a call from Starfire's team. Last night there was a distrubance. She went out alone to take care of it since it was something small. And she didn't come back. The team went out to find her but she is gone. We've been looking for her but she's just gone." He hated giving this news.

Dick started to show emotion then stopped. He put on a stoic look like only Batman could teach. He looked at Flash. "Where did she go? Was there a fight?"

Raven watched them but didn't say a word. She just hoped that the news wasn't going to be something horrible. Yet when she heard, she could hear many of her emotions expressing their opinions. Raven was surprised it wasn't like Star to go off alone. " Do you need our help looking for her?" Raven asked.

Dick nodded. He wanted to help.

Flash shook his head. "The thing is we have looked everywhere. We were already looking for Jericho but everyone likes Starfire. So everyone has pitched in to help. Unless she has holed herself away, isn't on Earth, or is with one of the villains we have looked everywhere. J'onn even went out and can't sense her anywhere."

Raven thought that information over. " Is it possible she took a visit to her home plant? She is able to fly without need a suit of it sorts, if I do recall that one time she left when going through strange alien puberty correctly. Also any idea whether or not her sister has broken out of the jail on their plant. Blackfire has always had a grudge against her and may have something to do with the fact she's missing" Raven said.

"GL was sent there. Blackfire is still there and there was no sign of Starfire. Their to call us if she shows up there but we don't think she will. With Jericho disappearing and Slade being involved we are worried it might be connected with Star."

Dick was in shock. Did she do something stupid because of me. Why would she go alone? He just couldn't believe any of this.

" Hmm, maybe checking with some of the reformed villains might help. They would have a better chance of knowing anything like this or they may know of someone who might have taken Starfire" Raven said softly.

Flash shrugged. "We have started on them but it is hard going. Most of them are stuck in their old ways. Just keep an eye out. If she contacts your team or shows up please tell us. I need to take this stuff back." He turned and ran out of the building.

Dick sighed. It still seems like they don't trust us completely. We aren't kids anymore. "It just keeps getting better." He looked at Raven. He was growing closer to her and was remembering the feelings he had for her but he still cared for Star. Even she had gotten herself hurt because of him it would break him.

Raven sighed, she knew they were still no trusting them. This wasn't good at all. She looked over at him," I'm sorry" She said softly. She figured the best thing to do to help would be to get something of Star's and see if she could use her powers to find her. She had done something like this before, with Robin once.

Dick shook his head and turned. "I'll be right back." He left the room and went to his own. He opened the box he kept under his bed and pulled out a ring box. He sat on the bed and looked at the simple box for a moment then stood back up. He headed back to Raven and handed her the box. "Here. Maybe this will help you." He turned to walk away again but stopped. "It's Star's engagment ring. She sent it to me a few weeks ago."

He walked back to his room and sat at the computer. He started typing and thinking.

Rachel nodded, and watched him go. She sighed rather loudly. She knew that most of this was her fault. Leave it to her to ruin everything between her friends. She looked at him when he returned, she stared at the box in surprise. She took the box and nodded. " Alright" She said. She watched him leave. After he left she took out the box, and held the ring in one hand, she closed her eyes and chanted her normal phrase" Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" She said. A raven flew from her, and seemed to fly a far distance. She had a idea where to find Star, or some clue about her. She went and told one of the new members she was going out, and would be back soon.

So Raven had left the tower alone, she made sure that Dick didn't see her leave. She didn't want his emotions to get involved in case Starfire had deflected or something. So she went searching for her, hoping she find her alive.

[[ Just realized, I play Starfire...LMAO]]

Dick sighed and pushed away from the computer. He knew he wouldn't find anything on there if the rest of the League had looked. He leaned back, tilting the chair, and thought about Star and Raven. Over the time he had been here he had started feeling some of the old feelings again. What do I really feel about Star? He cared about her but he didn't think anymore he really loved her. Or at least in the way he once thought he had. He loved his daughter and he loved the time he spent with Raven. He missed Star but when he found himself thinking about her he didn't think about them getting married but instead about all the times they had joked and had fun. She is more like a sister.

He stood up and walked outside. Maybe Rachel found something. He looked for her but couldn't find her anywhere. He finally found KF and asked him if he had seen her. When he was told she had left he froze. Did she go after Star?

((lol, I had to stop and think of the characters I play too.))

[[ Well they are on the first page, expect for the rest of their new team. From the new team, I think I'm just Jinx, cause your KF and Megan. So I'm wondering if I should just write out the stuff with Star or skip it, or beg you to play her, and then take over when Dick is brought back. The options...*dies*..XD]]

Jinx looked at Nightwing, wondering if he was going to try and find her now that he knew she had left. She sighed, the two birds were so thick headed sometimes. " You could try contacting her on her comm" She suggested.

Raven snuck around the area that Star was suppose to be at. So far she had found nothing. She had to be here, her powers wouldn't trick her like that. Unless the object she used belong to someone else, but Raven didn't think that was the case at all.

((Ok, now everyone is up on the front. And we can do it anyway you want to.))

Nightwing looked at Jinx and realized how stupid he had been. "Thanks Jinx." He pulled out his comm and punched into Raven's. He knew it would be beeping on her end.

[[ It's be awesome if you could pretty please play her for this bit.]]

Jinx nodded, and looked back to the tv, sometimes men could be so stupid and overlook such simple things.

Raven sighed, of course the time someone who try to call her. She answered," Yes?" She whispered.

"Where are you Raven? You shouldn't have left like that. That's how Star got into this trouble." He was really worried. She left to find Star. What if the same thing happens to her?
