Starfire nodded, and Cyborg led the way inside. He opened the door and Star shined one of her star bolts around.

" Alright, I'll call if I find anything" Rave said. After they two of them had looked around, she hadn't found anything. " Any luck?" She asked, approaching him. If he had no luck, she had one more thing they could try.

Beast Boy moved between their legs but still didn't smell anything usefully. He could smell the faint smell of the woman but it was at least a week old.

Nightwing looked around finally stopping in the library. "No I haven't found anything. But it's weird. I checked the bedrooms and it doesn't look like anyone has been staying in them. This place as all the appearance of being lived in but the smaller signs aren't there. But this room is different. You can see wear on the furniture, the books have been read, the floor shows signs of wear. Someone spends a lot of time in this room but does not use any of the rest of the place. She is here somewhere."

" Anything Beastboy?" Cyborg asked. With his eyes he couldn't spot anything.

Raven looked around, and noticed what Dick was talking about. " Your right. There must be a passage to a hidden part somewhere. " She said in a low voice, she knew only he could hear. If only they knew where the passage was.

While they Titans seemed to be looking Elizabeth sat in her room/cell, she had just noticed the change in her hair color. " Hey lady, what did you do to make hair, it's not brown anymore?" She asked. She was confused, just a while ago it was brown, but now it was black, with a purpleish tint to it. Her eyes were also a very bright blue, the same ones that Starfire, Raven and Batman knew Nightwing had.

Beast Boy shook his head side to side then continued in sniffing. He finally decided that no one had been in this place for at least a week and even then it had been brief. The kitchen had no scent of food. He changed back. "There isn't anyone here. I think she uses this place as a front. Says she lives her but only briefly comes here."

Nightwing nodded. "I don't think it would be in here. She likes this place too much. It would be somewhere that people wouldn't walk into often. The pantry, a closet, under a bed. Do you have any ideas?"

Data looked back at the screen showing the child. "What are you talking about I did nothing to your appearance." She stopped when she realized the child had changed. Her hair now matched the woman above them. So that was why they were so frantic. She turned back to the heroes. They were smarter then most but they would never find the door.

" There is a closest in the hallway, in both beds rooms, and a pantry in the kitchen. We should check each of those first. " Raven said softly.

" Then we should head to the other place Nightwing said to go" Cyborg said.

" Then why is my hair different?" The girl asked. It was scary, everything was changing even her hair.

"Ok, we go together." He led the way to the hall closet and opened the door. He felt all over but didn't find anything.

Beast Boy nodded and headed for the car.

"It seems little one that your life is a secret. Your mommy wasn't your mommy. Enjoy your real hair color." She glanced at the screen with the heroes. She had underestimated them. There was only one other exit from this underground area and it led outside the factory. But it was useless. It was a tight ladder and there would be no way to take the child with her. She would just have to kill the heroes if they found their way down. She gathered her weapons.

" My Mommy wasn't my mommy, but then who is?" She whispered softly. She looked around the room, it seemed there way no real way to go out. It also seemed what every strange power she had, was gone for now.

Starfire moved over to the car. Once they were both in, they three of them headed that way.

" Alright." Raven said, she followed him. She watched him try to see if there was something in the hall closet. " Let's try the master bedroom next" She suggested. She had a feeling, they both would soon be drawn into a fight, all she could hope was that they two of them would be enough to take her on.

Data spoke to the child without looking up from her preperations. "It appears she was an extremely powerful hero. You should be proud. You don't have an ordinary mother but a flying freak."

Nightwing followed Raven to the master bedroom and went over the closet as closely as the first. At first he didn't find anything and he started to get up and turn around. Then he noticed a slight indent in the floor where something had rubbed it. He felt the back wall more. Finally he felt an indent in the corner. He pushed at the back wall slid to the side. "Looks like we found it."

" She was? Meaning she's not anymore?" Elizabeth asked. She also wondered what exactly was freak is.

" Then let's go" She said. She didn't want to wait or plan something out. She wanted to go in and confront the woman, who decide to bring havoc to Raven's life. She wanted to save her daugther, tell the league about her, and move pass all of this. Plus she wanted to stop spending every second with Nightwing, it hurt her so much.

"Oh she is still a hero but not one like she used to be but now I can guess why." She laughed at the thought of a great hero being brought down.

Nightwing grabbed her before she went far. "Raven think! If Data is down there she will be watching. She will know we are coming. And she will have weapons. If you rush down there she'll have a perfect shot at you. Can you bring a shield up between us and downstairs? I used all my knockout gas but I have a flash bomb. It might blind her long enough for us to get down there. I don't dare use anything else."

" What do you mean, I don't understand?" Elizabeth asked. She looked up at what she deemed to be the source of the woman's voice.

Raven eyes narrowed at Dick. She wanted to tell him where to stick his stupid flash bomb. He had no right what to tell her to do, especially after all the heart ache he put her through. Yet being petty would get her no where. " Which means she most likely listening" Raven said. " Azarath Metrion Zinthos" she said, and within seconds a shield was up.

"Don't worry about it kid. Looks like it is going to get loud in here." She switched off the mike and the camera to the girl's room. She flipped one of her heavy tables on its side as a barrier and laid her guns out.

"I don't know. Bugging rooms with cameras is easier then for sound on the long term side. But your probably right. Can't hurt though." He tossed the flash bomb down the stairs and waited for the flash to go off then a brief second more before nodding at Raven.

" What!?" Elizabeth said. She yelled a bit more, but now it seemed no one was answering her.

Raven waited for Dick to give the sign before heading down the stairwell. She kept the shield up, who knew what was waiting for them. She glanced around as she walked into the area. Her shield still up, she was ready to take on the woman, who was dumb enough to kidnap a child of a Titan.

Data watched as the bomb dropped down. She dropped down behind the table, turned away, and covered her eyes just before it went off. She laughed as she stood back up with a gun. They thought that would work. She didn't have a camera in the stairs but it would be only seconds till they were down. She saw a black wall coming down and realized it was a like the force field the girl had made. She shot anways.

Nightwing followed closely behind. He hoped this would go easily.

The bullets did nothing but bounce off. Well Raven just wanted to lash out, and destory this woman as a hero she had to give her an option. " Lay down your weapons." Raven ordered. She glanced slightly as Nightwing. Waiting to see if he would add anything in.

Nightwing looked at Raven. He knew the violence that was being hidden in those eyes. "Attack again and we will be forced to responed. Stop now." He continued on down till they were fully in the room. He noticed that there were computers all over the place.

Data laughed again and shot off a few more rounds. As soon as they were fully in the room she called on her powers. She pushed the building power into the computers surrounding them calling on them to attack. A electronic line lashed out behind the heroes to wrap around the woman's leg.

Raven eyes glowed dark red for a second. She would really need to meditate after this was over with. She was vastly on emotional overload. " You were warn" She said. Her shield dropped when the line wrapped around her leg. " Azarath Metrion Zinthos" She chanted causing some of the stuff in the room to fly at Data.

[[ Bed time, night.]]

Data's smile grew. She lived for the rush. She dodged aside. She was much faster then she looked. She shot off a few more rounds and sent another line out. It wrapped around the man's arm.

Nightwing started to jump forward but was grabbed and yanked backwards. He heard the gun shots go off but was more worried about cutting through the cord on his leg. As soon as he was done he jumped back up. He launched himself at the woman.

While Nightwing, launched at Data, Raven had just removed the line attached to leg. " Azarath Metrion Zinthos" Raven said, and the closest computers, blew up. She figured, while Nightwing went towards the woman, it'd be best to destory some of her weapons.

Data realized this was not going well. She propably would not be able to kill them both and get the child out. But she might be able to distract them and get herself out. She watched as the man launched himself at her. He was suprisingly fast but so was she. She saw an opening and whipped up her gun shooting.

Nightwing saw the gun come up and dodged to the side but wasn't fast enough. Instead of a shot to the heart though it instead cut a slice through his side. He fell to the floor holding his side. He got back up and went at her again landing several hits with his sticks.

Raven who went to move for another, felt fear grasp her heart, as the women shot straight for Nightwing's heart. Yet before she could make a move, Dick had doged, and only was scrapped a bit by the bullet. Raven wanted to stop this woman and get her child and the man she loves out of there. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" She chanted, coaking various cords to try and tie up Data.

Data shot a few more times at Nightwing to drive him back and saw the woman's coming attack. She fished the cords out of her shirt and clicked the first one. It turned the screen and sound back on to the child's room. The crying could now be heard. She made a run for the back of the room and clicked down on the second button. It set off the bombs that were placed all over the house. The ceiling above the back exit and the two bedrooms was enforced and would take no damage but the ceiling near the stairs was not and started to crumple. If she could make it to the ladder she might be able to escape in the chaos.

Nightwing started to run for the woman when he heard the child. He quickly scanned the room and saw the screen. She was in another room. He put her out of his mind then heard and felt the bombs go off. He shouted back, "Raven!"

Raven started in surprise at the crying, and her daughter on the screen. Yet that was forgotten for a moment, as she heard bombs starting to go off. She made a quick dash to Nightwing. " We have to help her" Raven said, they still had a few seconds for Nightwing to make a choice, they could run for it and try to get to where Elizabeth was or Raven could shield them, and hoped they building wouldn't come crushing down on their child.

Elizabeth looked up," What's going, what's the noise? Lady! are you there?" She asked.

Nightwing knew that the ceilings in the back portion were probably re-inforced. Why else would the woman run in that direction? Elizabeth would be safe but how safe would she really be if she was trapped in there? He nodded towards the room and ran in that direction hoping they would be fast enough.

Data laughed. They had not tried to stop her right away so they were more worried about the child. She reached the ladder and quickly pulled herself up it. Reaching the top she climbed out and started running down the street.

Raven rushed after Nightwing, she ran as fast as she could, and the ceiling above them was crashing to the ground. The seemed to quickly reached a door. " Can you get it open?" She asked.

Elizabeth had resorted to banging on the door. " Please what's going on?" She screamed.
