Beast Boy smiled at the child and slowly walked after her to the kitchen. He looked at the food then at Bruce waiting for permission. Receiving it he got a few pancakes as they were the only vegitarian option. He quickly ate them then stood up. "I should get back to my team. Send me an invite for Elizabeth's party. I'll be sure to make it." He stood up and left.

Dick nodded at Beast Boy then smiled down at Elizabeth. "Hello hunny. Did you sleep good? What would you like to eat?" When Beast Boy got up to leave he smiled at him. "We'll be sure to do that BB."

" Bye Bye Beastboy" Elizabeth said. She looked back at her father," Well, can I have pancakes?" She asked. She loved pancakes specially chocolate chips ones. " Yes, I slept very well" She told him.

Raven walked into the room shortly after Beastboy had left. " Good Morning" She said softly.

Bruce flipped a couple pancakes on a plate and set them in front of Elizabeth before Dick could move. "Good morning Raven. Grab some food." He waved at an empty seat. "What are your plans now?"

Dick went back to his own food. He had come out in civies and with no mask. He remember his daughter still didn't know his name. But he turned to Raven to hear her response to Bruce before talking.

Elizabeth grinned brightly, and then started to eat her pancakes.

Raven sat down in her seat, and looked up to Bruce. " Well I'd figured, I'd Take Elizabeth to the Tower, and set up a room for her, and of course we'll need to go shopping, she'll need stuff for her room, and to were, but besides that. I'm have no idea" She told him.

"Good, it sounds like you have a plan." Bruce turned to look at Dick. "And you."

"Well, I was hoping Raven would let me stay in the tower with her. I can't stay at my base now. And I would like to help with Elizabeth." Dick turned to Raven. "Is that alright? If you don't want me there I can find somewhere else to stay."

At first Raven wanted to say no. She wasn't sure she could handle him around, but she knew things would be more helpful is he was around. " Well I don't mind" She said softly.

"Thank you Raven." Dick knew this was probably hurting her but he didn't think he could take it if she had said no. He had hurt so many people that he cared about that he didn't think he could stand being alone or even with Bruce, which would be almost like being alone.

He turned to Elizabeth. "Well I think it is past time that you learn my real name. Hello Elizabeth. My name is Richard John Grayson. Though everyone calls me Dick or at least the ones that know my real name."

"About time you told her. Been flashing my name around like it was nothing. But you moving in with them, at least for awhile, solves one problem. You will not have to worry about paying for anything now. Dick has access to my accounts and will be paying for his child."

" Your Welcome" She said softly. She knew that things might be hard, but it would be great for her child to have both parents for there for awhile at least.

Elizabeth looked up at him, " Oh. Otay Daddy, is Mommy's real name Raven?" She asked, turning to look at her mom.

Raven looked at her child, "Rachel Roth" She offered for her child. Only three people knew her real name, and they were all in this room. She looked to Bruce, " Well I do have my own money, I'm not unable to provide for her" She said.

"You may have money but you don't have my kind of money, or in this case Dick's kind. And this is his child too. He can pay for all the start off things. I'm sure there will be times when you will have to pay too. Really this just solves the problem of having to get you access to my accounts till later. And I wanted to point out this is the first time you have ever told me your name, and while I knew it, I thank you. I always thought it was a very pretty name."

Dick sighed. Bruce was very good at comanding people. "He is right Raven. I can buy this stuff. That way we can get her the stuff we want and she wants and not have to worry about the money."

Raven wanted to protest, and she was getting upset. She felt almost like they were telling her that she was unable to provide for her child, or that she couldn't do a good job, because they had more money than she did. " Fine, whatever you want" She said. It seemed that she wasn't being given any choice.

Dick knew they had upset her. "Hey Gramps how about you show Elizabeth around before we leave?"

Bruce stood up. "Would you like to take a look around Elizabeth? If you want we can go look at the bat cave. You can see your daddy's old costume."

When they had walked out Dick turned to Raven. "We didn't mean to hurt your feelings Raven. But you know how Bats is. If he, and I, don't do our duty. If I do not help with this child and pay for all of this new stuff, he will feel like I've let you and everyone down. He takes everything onto himself. Fighting him will just make him like he isn't worth of her. I've just learned not to fight him on things that deal with money."

Elizabeth's eyes lite up. " I'd love to, let's go Grandpa" She said.

" I can understand that, but how do you think I feel, If I'm being told not to pay, especially in a way, that makes me feel, that I can't support her they way you two can, because I'm not rich. It makes me feel like I can't provide for her, that she's better off not with me" Raven said.

"But you can provide for her and I know that. And more important than all the money in the world you can provide her with something she will get from no one else. You can teach her how to use her powers. We could spend all of our money and never get her that. Without you she might learn to control her powers enough not to kill someone but she would not learn enough. No matter how much I want to help her with that I never will be able to. And the other thing is, you could buy her everything she needs, but that isn't the whole reason to use my funds. She will be trained in the same things I was trained in and that will cost a lot. It isn't stuff she needs but it is best to start early and I would like someone to take after me and my parents."

Bruce led her through the secret enterance and let her run into the cave.

Raven sighed, and ran a hand threw her hair. She wondered, is this was how things were always going to be between the two of them. " Fine, alright. I understand" Raven said. She briefly wondered how it was that Dick always brought irrational emotions in her.


Elizabeth ran around the place, " Oh well this is so cool" She said softly.

Dick sighed realizing this was not going anywhere. He stood up and started clearing the table. "Would you like to go down to the cave? We can pick up Elizabeth then go."

"Look over here Elizabeth. These are all the old costumes we've had. And this one is the first one your father had." He pointed at the well known Robin outfit.

" Yes, let's go do that" Raven said softly. She then followed after Dick to the cave. It would be best to go get her, so they could start setting up her room.

Elizabeth ran over to it, and looked at it. " Oh wow. Why doesn't he wear it anymore?" She asked. It looked so interesting.

Bruce laughed. He could just see Dick wearing that outfit now. "Well he outgrew it. He decided he didn't want to be a sidekick anymore but a hero by himself. He didn't want to stand in anyone's shadow. I think he just wanted to look more scary like his old man." He heard steps. "Sounds like your parents are coming."

Dick walked through the cave. He knew they would be by the old costumes. He never could seem to get completely away from Robin.

Elizabeth nodded, understand some of what his said. She looked up at him confused. " But your not scary" She said, confused clearly on her face. She turned towards her parents. " Hi MOMMY, DADDY" She seemed to shout.

Raven smiled down at her daughter slightly. She glanced around the cave. Her eyes fell on the old costumes. She saw the Robin one, even that outfit held many memories for her and she never wore it.

Bruce chuckled at the child. "Many people find my costume scary. Someday I'll show you Batman." He turned to the others. "Hello Raven, Nightwing. Here for the little one?"

"While all of this stuff looks cool and shows important things you have faced I never understood why you keep it all. It's like a creepy meusem. And yes, we think it is about time she she her new home."

((getting off for the night))

[[ Aw. Well good night dear.]]

" Oh, well one day then" She said softly. She rushed over to her parents. " I can't wait to see my new home" She said happily.

" We also have to take her shopping for some new things too" Raven said, smiling down at her daugther.

"How do you plan on getting back?"

"I need to pick up my bike. I can't let it sit in that place for long."

" And Debug it" Raven reminded him. " Well I'm not letting her ride the bike, it's dangerous for a five year old, without a helmet at least. I figured, I could teleport us there." Raven stated.

"Good. I'll drive Dick to the bike and he'll be at the tower shortly."

"No, I wouldn't want her riding it either. Or at least until she is suited for it. Helmet and a sidecar." Bruce and Dick leave to go get the bike. Bruce drops Dick off without saying anything else. Nightwing looks over the bike carefully and finally pulls off the bug. He climbs on and kicks off. If he hurries he could be at the tower in thirty or fourty minutes.

" Come on let's head to your home sweetie." Raven said. She went and gathered their stuff, like her cape, the box from Elizabeth house, and the stuff Nightwing left behind. She held the stuff with one arm, and took Elizabeth hand with her free arm. " Alright Sweetie, here we go Azarath Metrion Zinthos" She said, before she teleported them both to the tower.

They arrived in the main room, and Raven walked over to the computer, and checked over things real quick. So it seemed everything in the tower and town was peaceful. She set the stuff down and looked back to her daugther. " Alright, do you want to go pick a room or wait for your father first?" She asked.


Elizabeth looked around, the Tower was so different from her grandpa's house. She looked up at her mother," Can I watch tv, while we wait for Daddy?" She asked. She beamed when Raven nodded, and helped her find something to watch on tv.

Dick soon speed up to the tower. It was almost like old times. He pulled his bike into the garrage and went upstairs to look for the girls. He found them watching tv. It appeared to be some cute cartoon series. "Hey girls. Did I miss anything?"
