Haven't really been able to get steady internet up until now. Qwest seemed to have some trouble telling that I was, in fact, a US citizen. Anyhow, we managed to supply internet service to a 100-year-old cabin. My roommate is from Idaho. She speaks russian and french. It is quite awesome. On our way to being a self-sufficient cabin.

Well, I first had to move all of my stuff into a storage unit and get my accounts in Indiana settled. Then I had to move to Montana, which was a week-log process, and then figure out where the hell I was living because for all intents and purposes I was homeless. Then, for about another month, I was leeching internet from a motel aptly named "Westward Ho" until I got the magic phone number to get internet access to my log cabin in the sky. After a battle with Qwest over whether or not West Yellowstone was the same as Helena, MT (the answer being a resounding 'no') finally got all things nice and proper. Between that and working a full 40 hours a week and providing the car for all the out-of-towners, I haven't had much time to update.

I'm sorry. :( That's a lot of stressful crap to happen all at once.

Pff. Whatever. Moving is stressful. Aside from this dude that's a total creeper at the moment, the people I work with are pretty awesome. Kinda sucks having to hide my relationship with Liz, but... well... we knew the risks when we made this decision.

Why do you have to hide your relationship?

Because, due to an outdated law that despite many attempts at overturns in the past forty years, sodomy is illegal in the state of Montana. Laws are limited to public displays of affection, so if she's in my cabin there's no issue, but anything vaguely homosexual in a public place will warrant a lot of unfortunate circumstances.

Additionally, our handyman fancies himself a "fag-killer." Self-preservation is key here.
