I'm 43 now and I think I was at least 10 years old when I started. There was Pac-Man,Asteriods, and Space Invaders.

Well all I would know is that I got my first video game system at 4 years old. It was a Super NES and my first game for it was Super Mario World. I still have the console and the game. Both still work too.

The first time I played a game was when I was eight or so years old. I got a gameboy advanced, and my first game was Cobi's Journey. I really loved that game. A couple of weeks later, it started freezing. What i mean when I say that was that It would save at one point, and the next time I tried to save it would not. Whenever I tried to load, it would bring me to that point when It saved for me. This was really upsetting to me because I was almost finished with the game. If it hadn't broken a couple of days later, I would probably still be playing it now.

I was seven or so. About fourteen years ago. Started with Zelda, and Starfox on the 64. :) Awesome games. That was like the golden age, before casual gameing ruined every blasted genre. Games with no learning curve are worthless.

I was 16! 8'D
And I'm 18 now. =w=

It was super smash brothers at my friend's house, and I'm being completely serious~ xD
I had no idea what a video game was until around 8th grade in middle school because all my friends kept talking about them and I would just sit and nod.
I recently got a PS2, and I've been playing Sly Cooper o3o So maybe this is my "first game" instead of the one shot with Super Smash brothers~ xD

And I think 16 is a very "young" age to start video games~ xD
My siblings are 7 and 9 and I've been letting them play some games on my PS2. I think as long as the kid doesn't get addicted to video games and can still balance school then it's fine~ Which is what I do for my siblings and regulate their playing.

Six. For my sixth birthday, I got a Gameboy Advance and Rugrats: Castle Capers. I still have the GBA, but I sold the game... I wish I still had it. :( It was so much fun.
