The night passed slowly. Edward was working diligently on his new deck, Kyle was sitting in the corner with her nose in one of Edward's alchemy books, Crow and Rua were passing the time by playing a few rounds of Duel Monsters, and Jack was his usual sullen self. Izumi was the first to turn in due to the rather....exciting day and her health. Soon after Rua fell asleep on the sofa. Kyle went to bed when she started having trouble keeping her eyes open. At around midnight Crow headed to bed as well, shortly followed by Paninya. By two a.m., the only ones left awake were Edward and Jack.

Jack sat in a shair stareing at the sealing,then looked to Edward."hows that deck of yours coming alog?",he asked. Finding that there was not much else he could do at the moment.Glanceing out the window he stood up ,seeming worried. A green light was comeing from the hospital."that dosent look good",he muttered.

"No it doesn't," Edward replied, pocketing his now-finished deck. "I say we check it out." Without waiting for an answer, he sneaked out of the house, and headed for the hospital.

Jack noddded,and when he turned around he grumbeled seeing Edward was gone and quickly ran after him to catch up.

Edward stopped short outside the hospital, causing him to nearly get run over by Jack. "What....what the hell's going on?!" He stammered.

At the same time, Crow found himself having a rather strange dream. He was standing in the middle of a palace or fortress, and it was completely empty. "Hello?" He called.

"Welcome, Crow Hogan." A deep voice said behind him. Crow whirled around, and found himself facing a young man with red dragonlike armor.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"I am Hermos." The young man replied. "There is a power in this world which I once combated, called the Orechalcos. I have chosen you to weild my power."

"You know about the Orechalcos? What d'you mean I'm supposed to weild your power?" Crow asked.

"I cannot affect your world on my own. I need assistance, of sorts." Hermos replied. "When you wake, you will find a card in your deck called the Claw of Hermos. That will serve you two purposes.

"The first will allow you to call upon me in my dragonic form in a duel. I fear you and your friends will before long be caught in the center of this battle, and be forced to fight.

"The second will allow the both of us to communicate telepathically, and give me the ability to possess your body if necissary. I will only take over with your permission, however. This will only be used in cases of extreme peril, outside of a duel." Hermos finished explaining.

Crow was silent for a few moments. "What happens if we lose?" he asked.

"Then this world will be destroyed, and yours along with it." Hermos replied. "The two worlds are connected, as parallels of each other. When one is affected in some way, it transmits to the other. This has already begun." The chamber began to fade, and Hermos's voice became distant. "I must leave you now. Remember the pact that is now between us, and what you have to do."

Crow woke up in his bed suddenly. What a weird dream. he thought. He picked up his deck and looked through it. "Then again, maybe it wasn't a dream." Crow said, seeing the card, the Claw of Hermos. He then spotted a greenish glow from the window. "That's...Crap!" He ran out of the room, pulling his shoes and jacket on as he went.

Jack watched in worrie seeing people dropping left and right."That Liviathin is up to something ...",he then blinked."lets get to Yukina",he siad and took off inside,stopping at Yukinas room door,he blinked seeing her body vanishing into the green light."this is not good",he mutterd.

"Shit! No, it isn't." Edward agreed. "DAMN YOU LEVIATHIN! SHOW YOURSELF YOU OVERGROWN LIZARD!!!" He shouted at the ceiling.

Jack looked to him."i'm pretty shure he's not here,and doing this under Kallins nose",he said growling,when the light vanished Yukinas body was gone."shit"

Edward punched the wall, leaving a hole where his metal hand had gone through it. "Damn it," He snarled, feeling useless.

Jack jumped slightly when Edward punched the wall."Edward ... it ... It'll be okay...."

Crow entered the room and saw the scene. "Damn. They took Yukina, didn't they?" He asked irritably. "Shit." He swore when Edward nodded.

Jack sighed."I dont know why,but I feel like Kallin has no idea whats going on ...."

In the meantime in central:

Liviathin had snuck away from Kallin,and was in a differnt temple like plae ,not to far from outside ov Central.On the florr was a transmutation circle."this is how those pest got here,thats how the'll get back ... and I'll gldly join them",he said laughing some. A green light aperaed in the middle,when it disaperaed ,Yukinas body lay there."poor girl,the one person who can save ou,dosent care enough to ...... heh Kalin getting involved in the oricalchous was the best thing ever",he laughed darkly and summoned an alchemist e had controll over."begin the spell,take you time so you do it right",he ordered and headed back into central ,looking backseeing the eri glow,a smerk on his face."she'll at least be gone"

"That's the feeling I get too." Edward replied. "And I don't like it. If that Leviathin's acting on it's own, then that's a whole other problem for us to deal with in addition to stopping Kalin."

Jack sighed."for now .... theres nothing we can do"

Edward didn't like it, but he was forced to agree. He stormed from the room, and soon was outside. And pissed. Once he was, he let loose with a yelling rant.

"DAMN IT, YOU MOTHERFUCKING OVERGROWN LIZARD!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted. Edward didn't care that he woke everyone up, but right now he felt completely useless and he didn't like it.

"Wow. That was loud." Crow said, coming up and twisting his finger in his ear. "You might want to scream louder next time; there might've been a few people on the other side of the country who didn't hear you."

"Ha ha." Edward deadpanned.

Jack followed the two and sighed."why would he take her body ,he alraedy has her sould/what good is her body to him?",he asked aloud.

"That's what I want to know." Crow said. He noticed Edward being moodier than normal, and it made him wonder even more. "Ed?"

"I think I might know." Edward replied. "The only guess that I can come up with is that he'd try and send Yukina's body back to the world she came from."

"Ours." Crow said. Edward nodded.

"But the cost is going to be insanely high." Edward pointed out. "In order to send Yukina's body through the gate, he's going to have to have something to pay with. Equivalent Exchange won't let him send her back for free."

Jack stared at him.'so hes scrificeing her body?...what if he gives this thing your speaking of .... her soul as well?"

"He may not be sacrificing her body, per say." Edward said. "Just sending it back, so that there's nothing for her to cling to once we get her soul back."

Jack sighed."you should let you ....boss guy know ,so he can warn Yusei ....."

"I've already let General Storm know, and she's no doubt gotten the news down to Mustang and the rest of his subordinates by know." Edward replied. "I know her well enough to know that she'd get info like that to anyone loyal to her and Mustang."

"I just hope they'll keep Yusei from doing anything stupid." Crow said.

Later that morning, after the sun had risen, Edward was busy contemplating what was going on. Crow came down the stairs, yawning. "What? You're still up?" He asked.

Edward nodded. He was about to answer Crow's question when the phone rang. "Yes?" He asked when he answered it.

"Get a ticket back up here pronto, Ed." Tira said from your other end. "That friend of yours, Yusei, never showed up last night. I don't know about you, but something about it doesn't seem right."
