"How do you think things'll go with the festival?" Gesei randomly murmured after a bit of silence between the two and looked up at him with a slightly worried look and was hoping everything went okay.

"I think that everything will go well and if something goes wrong I will protect you." he said to her softly and kissed her head gently. He would make sure that nothing ever happened to her and that she would never go into a coma again. He would protect her and keep ehr safe.

Gesei seemed to have been and still was nervous as they walked through to forest and she stayed close to Dustan's side. "I don't know why... I'm still kinda scared to come back here... maybe because they caused me to go into a coma or something..." she murmured quietly as she leaned into Dustan a bit and hoped everything went off without a hitch... they all needed peace and clearly that was not there yet.

Dustan wrapped a arm around her waist and kept her close to him. He knew that she was still uneasy to the idea of going to the village but would make sure that she stayed safe. So he gently kissed her head and whispered to her softly, "dont worry, everything is going to be okay. I will keep you safe if anything happens." he said and then saw the village. A festival was in full swing and he hoped that they where welcome.

In the village the festival was lively and everything seemed fine for now. Kazu had told all the villagers that Dustan and Gesei were to be treated with the utmost respect and were welcomed guests and everyone seemed to be okay with that for now... though of course there were still those few that really hated the two and wanted nothing more then to kill the beast and his pet... or companion though none of them really cared anymore she was a trater to them so she was not worth respect... and she was also a woman so that made it even less likely that they would give her any respect. "Yeah... I know you will protect me..." Gesei said softly to Dustan as she leaned against him some and did hope that everything went well.

Dustan smiled at her and nodded as he headed down to the village. As he got to the edge he found he himself was nervous about coming there. But he had to show that they ment no harm, they had to be friendly. Kazu saw them and quickly ran over to them, "I am glad that you came, please walk around and enjoy yourselves." he said as he walked them into the village. Some of the villagers smiled at them while others seemed to glare. But Dustan just smiled and held Gesei close to him as he walked.

Gesei made it a point that she wasn't moving from Dustan's side for every step he took she was right with him and didn't lag at all for she still wasn't comfortable being here no matter how many of the people were nice to them... she knew that there were still a few that hated them.

Kazu smiled at them as he lead them around, "if there is anything you need please find me. Right now I need to over see a few things." she said and dissappeared from their sight. Dustan looked down at Gesei and smiled at her, "see everythig is okay, no one is hurting us." he said and gently stroked her cheek lovingly. She needed to calm down, so far nothing bad has happened and that was a good thing considering everything.

"I know... I'm... I... I just can't help but be wary of it here now... I'm worried one if not both of what happened last time will happen again... I'm scared of that darkness... you can understand that right?" Gesei said quietly referring to the comma she had went into after they had beaten her and almost killed her... and Dustan... she was scared they would try to kill him again and she couldn't help it.

Dustan held her close and kissed her head gently, "I understand and I will make sure that you won't go into the darkness. I will keep you safe and close. Nothing like last time will happen again." he said to her softly and he gently stroked her head to try and keep her calm. He knew that she was scared and so was he but he would make sure that nothing happened to her. He would protect her with his life and keep her as safe as possible. He then looked into her eyes, "now let's try to have some fun."

Gesei sighed some and kissed his cheek softly before looking at him and slowly nodded. "Okay... I think there should be some booth games or something over there... that's where they normally are put." she murmured and tried to give him a bit of a smile though you could still see the nervousness and unsure thoughts in it. It would take allot to get her to be okay with the village again... after all most of the people that had been flogged like that didn't live to tell about it and the few that did... well they ended up like her... scared and alone in the village so, of course, most left and started traveling.

Dustan nodded and picked her up into his arms. He felt better if he could carry her, he felt like he could protect her better and make sure that nothing happened to her. Sowly he made his way to the booths and then looked down at gesei, "we can play any game that you want, just tell me which one." he whispered to her softly and kissed her head geny. As he dis he realized that if bythe end of the day she still didn't like to be in the village he would never take her here again. He wouldn't make her go tona place that made her uncomfortable.

Gesei smiled a bit at Dustan and kissed him on the cheek some before looking around and pointing out one of the booths that you could shoot a water gun at a target to send up a ball and race someone to see who would win the prize. "Bet I could beat you." she smirked some though really did want to see if she could win against him or not.

Dustan chuckled when he heard her and looked into her eyes. "your on." he said softly as he made his way over to the booth. He set her down infront of it and got into position. "so are you ready to get beaten by me?" he asked slightly joking and teasingly. He wasn't to good at any ofthemgot games so he was sure thar she would beat him.

"Yeah right" Gesei smirked as the woman at the booth let go of the water so the two could play and she was shocked when she heard two buzzers at the same time. "Wow... well I've never seen a tie before... would you like a redo?" the woman laughed some and seemed to one of those that was okay with the two being in the village.

Dustan laughed when he saw that they had a tie and looked at the women. "yes I think a redo will be in order to see who is the winner." he said and then smield at Gesei. It was then started up again and in the end Gesei won. Dustan smirked and then looked at her, "guess your teh winner." he said with a smile.

"YES!" Gesei laughed and the woman smiled and handed Gesei a stuffed kitten. Gesei smiled then turned to Dustan and held the kitten out to him. She felt that he wouldn't take it though she kinda hoped that he would take it... she really didn't win it fer herself anyway.

Dustan smiled when he heard her and then looked at the stuffed animal. He smiled as he gently took it from her and then pulled her close to him, "why thank you, I think I will keep this." he said and then kissed her head gently.

Gesei smiled some and laughed a bit seeming to have let go of her worry about the village and was just happy to be spending some fun time with Dustan. It had been a long time since she had actually laughed a bit and smiled in such a way.... it had been awhile since she had had a reason to.

Duatan smiled when he heard her laugh and was glad to hear that. After everything she needed to be able to laugh and have some fun. "now then I need to win you something." he said and looked around to find another booth to play. "now then which one." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

"Hm... well I think you would brake the strong man contest thing... what about the one where you throw the ball at the bottles?" Gesei said as she smirked at the first part. She smiled some and took Dustan's hand again without much thought... she liked holding his hand and being close to him... it made her feel safe and like that's where she belonged.
