"How-how can I believe you?... I... I never once heard your voice when I was in that coma.... not even once after the first day or so." Gesei whimpered quietly and in a pained tone not looking at him and not moving or uncurling from where she was. How could she know that he wasn't lying to her? She knew that he hadn't spoken to her at all after the first day... she hadn't even hardly heard his voice after the first day or so she was in that coma.

Dustan looked at her and looked down at the ground, "I am sorry I wasn't there for you and talking to you. But each time I tried to get close to you Diea would come along and drag me away. She made sure that I had no choice in the matter. I am so sorry that I wasn't with you and if I could I would go back and be at your side every single moment of the day. Is there any way that I can make it up to you?" he asked as he looked at her.

Gesei moved a bit and looked at Dustan her face slightly stained with tears. "I... I was scared... I was scared when I couldn't hear you or anything." she whimpered quietly and wasn't sure if she wanted him to hold her or not... though she felt that she did. She kinda wanted him to show her that he still loved her... prove to her that he still loved her... though she wasn't sure how.

Dustan looked at her and right away wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him. "I was scared too. I was scared I was going to lose you and I couldn't imagine a life without you." he said as he looked at her and kissed her head gently. "I love you more then anything else." he said to her softly

Gesei sniffled a bit and curled in his lap some and curled into him a bit. For some reason she couldn't take his words comepletely to heart... maybe because she was unsure right now... any way you look at it she just couldn't... somehow... some way she wanted him to prove to her that he loved her.... though she wasn't sure how....

Dustan held her closer to him as she curled into him. "I would of come after you sooner but when I woke up to see Diea next to me I was scared not seeing you. When she told me she got rid of you I got angery. I cahnged and ende dup destroying the room and hurting her. I am sure that Evelyn or the villagers will want me there anymore." he said to her softly and kissed her head gently. "is there any way I can prove to you that I will always love you?" he asked.

"I... I don't know... I don't know how you can..." Gesei said softly not looking up at him and her eyes were half lidded as she just kinda gazed off seeming a bit far away and just didn't know how he could prove he loved her again.

Dustan thought and then smiled as he thought of a way. He then looked down at Gesei, "well I think I have a idea." he said to her softly and held her closer, "I have been giving this idea alot of thought, expecially while you where in the coma and I couldn't be close to you. But I think I finally have decided on it. He said and then dug into a pocket and pulled out a small ring that was completely silver. He then held it infront of Gesei, "I was wondering if you would like to spend the rest of your life with me?" he asked her softly.

Gesei gasped when she saw the ring and heard him. She then looked up at him "Really?" She asked quietly as she looked at the ring and slowly she smiled and knew he must have loved her... he was asked her to marry him!!! she couldn't believe it!!!

Dustan nodded as he looked at her, "I am completely serious. Your the only person I will ever love and I want to be with you till the day I die." he said to her softly and kissed her cheek gently. He wanted to marry her more then anything else and wanted to be close to her always.

Gesei smiled happily and took the ring slipping it onto her ring finger and found that it fit perfectly. She smiled then turned slightly and hugged him tightly. "I love you... I don't see how she could blind me about you and our love... but... somehow she did... I think it was mostly because I hadn't heard you at all the whole time I was in that coma.

Dustan wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "well we don't have to worry about her anymore. Your the only girl for me and that ring proves it." he said to her softly and gently stroked her cheek. "and I am truely sorry for not being at your side when you needed me. I promise that I will be at your side always and that you will never go into a coma again." he said to her softly.

Gesei smiled and hugged him more nuzzling her face into him a bit. "Can we go home?" she asked a muffled question as she continued to hug him and wanted him to carry her and wanted to go back to the cave... where they both belonged... they didn't belong in the village... they weren't meant to be there... it wasn't normal anymore.

Dustan smiled at her and nodded, "home sounds good." he said and picked her up into his arms. He then jumped down from the tree and landed gently on the ground. "once we get home what do you want to do?" he asked her softly and kept her close as he headed back home. He couldn't wait to get there now that he had gesei and didn't have to worry about anything else.

"I'm... not sure I just know that I want to be with you...." Gesei said softly as she wrapped her arms around his neck and burried her face in the hallow of his neck softly

Dustan smiled when he heaerd her and held her closer. "and I want to be with you." he said to her softly and smiled once he saw there cave. "you know I think I am goin to make the cave better." he said as he walked in and looked around. He was going to fix it up and make it better.

Gesei smiled softly and nuzzled him again a bit. "How are we going to get married though? I'm sure that the village wouldn't want to marry us after everything..." she asked quietly as she thought and wasn't even sure if they would be able to actually get married... where would they go to get married? How would they?

Dustan looked down at her and smiled, "we could always go to the next town over the mountain. They would probably marry us since they wouldn't know who we are." he said to her softly as he headed over to the couchz he sat down with her in his arms and smiled as he held her close to him.

"Hm... that could work... Can't wait." Gesei smiled as she curled in his lap and leaned her head on him softly and listened to his heart. "I'm sorry I doubted you... she really got me messed up." she said softly and looked up at him apologetically.

Dustan held her close to him and kissed her cheek, "it is okay, she won't get to us ever again." he whispered to her softly and kept her close. "we should probably tell Evelyn what happened. But I can't talk to her, since I Hirt diea she might not trust me." he said to gesei softly. He felt bad about it now but he was glad to have her close.

"You just freaked out is all... and it was her fault too... Evelyn would believe me and if I told her what happened then I'm sure she won't be upset with you." Gesei said softly and nuzzled him a bit lovingly

Dustan nodded as he held her close to him and nuzzled her back. "hopefully." he whispered to her softly and then kissed her cheek gently. "you know I feel like the luckiest guy with you by my side." he said to her softly.

Gesei smiled softly and moved so she could kiss him on the lips softly and smiled at him happily. "You make me very very happy too... the happiest I've ever been past when my mother was alive... and even then." she smiled softly and kissed him again lovingly.

Dustan smiled as he kissed her back right away and looked into her eyes. "you make me happier then I have been in a long time." he said as he looked at her. He gently stroked her cheek and kissed her again. He loved kissing her and didn't really want to stop now.

Gesei smiled and kissed him back happily and just loved the feeling of their lips together and never wanted to stop. She actually wanted to try and make out... if she could remember it would be the first time they made out and she really wanted to try it.
