Destiny looked over to Jace when Dustan did and shook her head. "He won't hurt me... though I will call if anything happens." she said softly as she leaned up and kissed her father on the cheek happily. "I'll careful." she smiled some as she went back into the cave to her room and grabbed her backpack before running out of one of the back cave openings. She ran to the clearing and smiled happily as she saw all the flowers and beautiful trees and such.

(could you maybe be what comes up and grabs her? Did we say another dragon?)

Jace watched Destiny go and wanted to say something but when he was about to he smelled something. A low growl came from him as he recognized hte sent. Another dragon. By that time Destiny was gone and a bad feeling was in him. So when Dustan wasn't looking he slipped out. He was infact right about another dragon. But it was one far older then him and stronger. It was eyeing up destiny and smield when she went out into the opening. Slowly it crept out when she had her back to him and then wrapped his claws around her.

Destiny had just been sitting on the bank watching the fish and small creatures when she suddenly felt something coming around her. She screamed when she was lifted off the ground and struggled to get free from his claws. "LET ME GO!" she cried out trying to get free even more. "POPPA!!!" she screamed hoping that Dustan would come up quickly and get her.

Dustan heard her scream and darted out of the cave. Jace was close by and growled when he saw the other dragon touch Destiny. He leaped out from teh shadows and shifted instantly. He bit into the dragons neck and dug his claws into him. THe Other dragon screamed out in pain and releaced Destiny to try and get Jace off. Jace quickly jumped off of him and caught Destiny before she coudl land on the ground. The other dragon glared at him but Jace let out a growl to let him know not to come close. The dragon slowly started to back away from them and then dissappeared.

Destiny cried some really rattled up by the dragon grabbing her though leaned into Jace a bit. "Jace... thank you... you saved me" she said quietly then looked around thinking that she heard her father though wasn't sure... this wouldn't be good if Dustan came up and thought that Jace was the reason she had screamed for him.

Jace held her close to him and nodded when he heard her. "no problem, you should be more carefull." he said to her softly but then heard a growl. Dustan had gotten there and when he saw Jace with Destiny he hated it. He had shifted into his tiger form and growled again, "put her down so I can kill you." he growled and Jace wasn't to sure what to do. But slowly he set her down on the ground.

"No Poppa! He didn't hurt me he saved me... another dragon came up and grabbed me... he had been close and came to save me right away and the other dragon flew away" Destiny said as she stood in front of Jace so Dustan couldn't get to him right away.

Dustan stopped when he saw Destiny defending Jace and jace shifted back to his human form. He then seemed to bow to Dustan, "I am so sorry for disobeying your rule. I just smelled troulb eand wanted to protect her." he said and Dustan only looked at the two. He then sighed and nodded, "fine, but right now both of you go back to the cave." he said sternly.

Destiny nodded and quickly, and without thinking, took Jace's hand and pulled him quickly along with her back to the cave. "I hope Poppa isn't mad... You did it to protect me" she whispered worriedly as she looked at Jace when they were back in the cave and prayed that her father would not hurt him for disobeying to save her.

Jace was surprised when he felt her take his hand but he was gla dfor it. "yeah I am hoping for that, I hope he will understnad." he said softly and was glad that he had her next to him. When theygot to the cave he just waited there and wondered what was going to happen. Dustan looked at them and then called, "gesei come here." hewanted to hear what she thought about this.

Destiny looked at Jace as he spoke and nodded after she had let go of his hand when they had gotten into the cave. Gesei popped her head out from the kitchen and sighed a bit as she walked out and into the living area. "Yes love?" she said curiously and looked at the two kids and wondered what her husband wanted to talk about.

Dustan smiled when she came in and then looked at hte kids, "I was jace with Destiny outside and they said that he saved her form a dragon. I am not sure if I hsould believe them or not. What do you think?" He asked as he look at her and then back at the kids.

Gesei was a bit shocked at this and looked at the two thinking some and wasn't sure what to think. "I really don't see Destiny lying like that.... but why would a dragon even think of coming down in the open or close to the cave?" she asked looking at Dustan now unsure.

Dustan nodded, "your right she woudlnt' be lieing and I dont know. Maybe they are spreading out trying to find food or something." he said as he looked at Gesei. he then looked at Jace and smiled a little bit, 'thank you for saving my daughter, I guess we can let you out of the cave if you promise not to let anything happen to my duaghter or harm her." he said and Jace nodded. "I can promise that."

Gesei listened to Dustan and nodded some at that then looked to the two and smiled slightly at Jace grateful that he would protect her daughter if she couldn't call out for them.

(sorry it's sort XP when are we going to have my guy come in? I was thinking about having him corner Neva or something XP I think that would be interesting XD )

Dustan then smiled at the two, "now you two can go." he said and walked over to Gesei and wrapped a arm around her. Jace smiled and looked over at Destiny, "what do you want to do?" he asked since he wanted to play. He hardly ever got to play before.

Destiny thought some then smiled a bit. "We could ask Neva if she wants to play hide and seek?" she smiled some and liked the idea of playing with more then just two people... it made it more interesting and fun in her opinion.

Jace smiled and nodded when he heard her, "that sounds like fun, I never played it before." he said as he looked at her. He then got worried and looked at her, "what if Neva doesn't want to play with me?" he asked softly since he wasn't sure if she liked him or not.

Destiny thought some though smiled slightly. "Don't worry... I'm sure she wouldn't mind playing so long as she knew that everything was okay now" she smiled some then turned to go get her cousin though paused for a moment. "Wait here" she smiled some then dashed off to go get Neva. "NEVA! WANNA PLAY HIDE AND SEEK?!" she said excitedly with a smile as she looked to see if she was in her room.

Jace nodded and watched her run off to get her room. Neva was in her room and playing with her Teddy bear. Her dad made it for her when she was little. She loved it more then anything else and when she heard destiny she looked up. "sure, i would love to play." she said as she got up and smiled.

"Okay... um... do you mind if Jace plays too? Momma and Poppa know and now Poppa wants him to stay close to me and protect me... a dragon came up and tried to take me away and was probably thinking of me as lunch." Destiny said and hoped that Neva didn't mind... she wanted to include Jace... he didn't seem to have much fun so she wanted to change that some.

Neva thought about this for a second and then slowly started to nod, "yeah that is fine, he can play. I am just glad he kept you safe. I dont want anything to happen to you." she said since Destiny was like her sister. She never wanted to lose her since she was so close to her.

Destiny smiled happily and gave Neva a hug then tugged on her hand to lead her to the front of the cave where she had left Jace.

Neva smiled and followed h er out to hte front of the cave. Jace was waiting for them to come and smiled when they came, "so how do you play this game?" he asked as he looked at her.

"Well... as the name suggests one person hides and the other one goes to find them... though you have to count, normally to about 20 or 50. In this case one of us has to look for the other two and the game's over when the person that is looking for the others tags one of the others and says they're it" Destiny smiled some thinking that that might be a good enough answer for him though would go on if he needed her to.
