Dustan towered over kazu and a deep growl still came to him. Slowly he forced himself to stop and say calmy, "thank you for helping them and were not angry at you. We just can't believe that the villagers let this happen." he said and looked over at gesei. "dear, please calm down. We have too if we want them to like us." he said and took a deep breath to calm him down more. Angerstill bubbled inside but he surpressed it. "can we see the kids now? How bad were there injuries? What did they do to them?" he asked and now sounded like a worried parent he should be. He wanted to see hem and make sure that they were completely okay.

"It was a group of only about 10 maybe... not very big you know the rest of the village wouldn't hurt you." Kazu said softly then was glad when Dustan calmed some. He looked at Gesei again to see her having stopped pacing to look at her husband then slowly she turned normal having stood back up. If they were going into the village she didn't want to be in tiger form, not maybe of the villagers had seen her tiger form before. "Come with me I'll take you to them." Kazu said as he started to turn then stopped and had to think some. "W-well... we don't know exactly what they did to Jace though I have a feeling they carved out his wings... he has two very large gashes on his back that looked like they had been pretty deep though we think that Destiny healed him some before they got out of the house. As for Destiny... well... um... we can't tell exactly with her either though everything on her was cuts, some deep some not so deep in many areas of her body, she'll have scars that's for certain." he said softly and hoped that neither of the two got really mad again. He heard someone growl quietly though wasn't sure which of them it was, he thought it was Gesei and he was right in that thought.

Dustan followed him and was glad when gesei came to him. But when he heard what happened to him and low rummble came from him. He knew Jace was devistated by his wings. Anyone who could fly would probably feel a deep loss but when he heard destinys condition his rummble got louder. If he had his hands on those who did it he would set a example to anyone who was planning something similar. He would rip he guide head off and then smashthe head and body. When he heard gesei's growl he wrapped a arm around her and kissed her cheek as he turned back into his human form. "are you sure you got everyone?" he asked since if there was one left he was going to track him down and kill him igt away.

We believe we got everyone." Kazu said as they met the new leader of the village at the gates then walked to the house where the two teenagers were resting. "They were both awake when I left though I'm not sure if they are now, Destiny looked really tired to me." kazu said softly as he opened the door to the house to let the two in. "Second room to the right is where they are." he told them softly and if you looked into the room you could see the two fast asleep Destiny in Jace's arms.

Dustan nodded when he heard him and was glad about that. Yet rage still filled him as he walked threw the village and looked at everyone there. They should of kept a better eye out for something. They should of seen something and reported it. His anger co tinier to build till they got to the house and he calmed down slightly. "when can we take them home?" he asked as he looked into their room. He smiled when he saw the two sleeping together and then looked at gesei. "they look good, better then being in a dragons stomach." he said and shuddered when he remembered what gesei looked like coming out of there. She looked dead. He then pulled gesei close and kissed her head gently.

"I'd say a day or so... I just think that they should be able to stand and walk some before you move them." Kazu said quietly and Destiny moved some hearing people at the door though then just relaxed again and nuzzled her face a bit more into Jace's chest. "Yeah... I'm sure they feel better then that too." Gesei murmured though did smile a bit. Even though the memory was painful she could remember how happy she was when she saw Dustan again and that made her happy to remember. She watched the two and couldn't help but think they looked nice together and thought they kinda reminded her of herself and Dustan when she first met him... well not at the very beginning but not too long after that when she found that she loved him.

Dustan nodded and smiled when hw saw how destiny nuzzled her face into jaces chest. He had a feeling that they where going to be spending a lot of time together now. He then looked at kazu, "is there a possibility that I could stay in the village and watch over them untill then? I would feel better ifi could watch them." he said and hoped that he wouldn't mind. He just didn't trust the kids staying here without one of them here. They where stil very weak and wouldn't be able to defend themselves any time soon.

"Sure that's fine, if you two want to stay in the old house then your more then welcome to... or Gesei's house... we never let anyone move into either of them just in case they were needed sometime." Kazu said softly and Gesei knew what two houses he was talking about and didn't want to stay in Evelyn's house... it would bring back too many memories and she still wasn't over the loss yet even though it had been a few years. "Should we go tell Diea and Fey that we'll be here for a few days with Destiny, Jace, and Konran as they rest?" she asked softly then remembered Konran and looked around. "Where is Konran?" she asked Kazu worriedly since she wanted to see that the serpent was okay too, she was a part of the family too after all.

Dustan nodded when he heard kazu and looked down at gesei. The loss of evelyns was still felt a d none of them were truely over it completely. He then looked at kazu, "you can guess which place we are goin to stay in." he said since kazu knew all to well that they still weren't over Evelyn. He doubted that gesei could stand being in her house. He looked down atgesei and smiled as he kissed her head gently. He was about to say something when he heard konrans name and nodded. "we will tell the others after we see konran." he said and was worried about her too. She was a nice girl and he loved having her with them.

(ow Konran actually does have a human form though Baindo has to shift her into it XP she can't do it on her own since she wasn't exactly born with the full form XP )

Gesei looked up at Dustan and nodded then Kazu nodded and lead them a door down to where you could see a queen sized bed where Konran was curled up. She had bandages all over her and an ice pack on her head from the fight with so many enemies. Gesei looked at her worriedly and walked into the room to see if she was okay. Of course the healer here didn't know too much about a serpent though Gesei did since Konran and Baindo had been with them for awhile. She placed her hand softly on the serpent and she opened her eyes then let out a soft whine at her not having the strength to speak right now. "It's okay sweety you don't have to force yourself to speak." she whispered softly and Konran closed her eyes for a moment before turning her head slightly to look over at Kazu and Dustan wishing that she could have gotten here sooner before the two were hurt so bad. "I-I'm so sorry... I didn't fulfill my role as a guardian, I let them get hurt... I didn't protect them well enough." she whispered softly and Gesei shook her head a bit stroking the serpent carefully. She didn't know what to say to her since she had done her best though she knew that she would listen to Dustan better then she would her.

Dustan followed them to the next room and frowned when he saw there friend. Konran looked almost as bad as the kid and he couldn't help but shake his head when he heard her. He walked over to her and gently patted her head. "you did everything we could of asked for and more. Right now all I can ask of you is to rest." he said as he smiled at her. "that is all I ask of you now, rest so that you can get better." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He knew taht she felt horrible about not being able to do what she was suppose to but at least they were all safe. That was all that mattered right now. They were all safe and with each other.

Gesei nodded to Dustan's words though Konran still whined softly though then nodded a bit and rubbed her head up against Dustan's hand thankfully. She was always a very loving and kind creature, she never thought about going against the family or abbandoning her word to protect the kids. It was as though each had their own thing to protect. Jace normally stood guard of the cave when not out with Destiny, Baindo was always with Neva though kept watch normally at the other entrance, Dustan, Gesei, Fey, and Diea normally took shifts patrolling the areas around the village to protect it and also the land around the cave. As for Konran she had multiple jobs, she never rested. She protected the kids whenever they went out no matter where, she took Baindo's of Jace's place if the need came up, and she also often scanned through the waters to make sure there was no threat there at all. Gesei knew of all this and had been trying to lessen the load on the girl but she refused and said that she liked to stay busy like that and not even Baindo could convince her otherwise.

Dustan smiled when he saw her nodd and patted her head again. "for the next two weeks I want you to rest. We are going to be taking care of you for now on." he said as he looked at her and knew she worked to hard. They all had jobs but she worked everywhere and never got any rest. Now that they knew she was hurt he wasn't going to let her do anything, she needed the rest if she was to get better. He then looked at Gesei, "when we care lets move all three back home. We will have you and Diea take care of them for a while till they are better. Me and the others will watch over everything." he said as he looked at her and then smield down at Konran.

Konran looked up at Dustan weakly though didn't have the strength to argue with him right now so she just nodded a bit and closed her eyes. "We'll have to talk to Baindo probably... I don't know much about serpents and neither does Diea. Unless Baindo's been talking to Neva about it we'll have time find out something from him." Gesei said softly as she stroked Konran softly and she seemed to be enjoying the feel and was soon fast asleep to the feel of being stroked in such a comforting way.

Dustan nodded when he heard gesei, "I will get baindo to come over here as soon as possible to help us move her. Then we will have baindo check her injures to make sure they aren't to bad." he said as he looked at konran and hoped that she could be okay. But when he saw her falling asleep he couldn't help but smile. She needed the rest just like the other two. He was glad they they had them still and couldn't imagine what would things be like if they had died. He didn't want to imagine thar actually, it hurt to mich to think about.

Gesei looked at Konran then nodded to Dustan and took his hand lightly tugging him towards the door since she wanted their friend to get some sleep. "I have a slight feeling one of the kids are awake, if one of them are then the other should fallow, it's funny how it seems that way." she smiled some since it was always like that with her and Dustan and she felt that it was the same thing for Destiny and Jace.

Dustan nodded as he followed her out of there and made sure that the door was closed. Konran needed the sleep now and they had the other two to worry about. "then let's go check on them. I am sure they will be happy to see us." he said as he wrapped a arm around gesei. He then lead then back to destiny and jaces room. He opened it and found Jace was up and just gently stroking destinys head. He didn't even notice the the door had been open.

(so he's just awake right? Not actually sitting up? I don't think that would be good just yet XD )

Gesei peaked into the room then a soft smile came onto her lips at what she saw next. She saw Jace stroking Destiny's head and she was leaning into him closely but softly with a soft look on her face. She smiled some against him and nuzzled him a bit not seeming to want to wake up quite yet. Gesei really didn't want to break up the scene though she knew that they needed to talk to the two and they couldn't do it if they fell asleep again. So she tapped on the door lightly before opening it fully. She wondered how he would react to them and hoped that it wouldn't be like Konran, it wasn't his fault and he did his best to protect himself and Destiny so they weren't mad at him at all.

Jace smiled as he gently stroked Destinys head and felt her nuzzle him. He knew she didn't want to wake up just yet and wondered if he should hum to her softly. But then he heard the tap at the door and turned his head to see Dustan and Gesei in the door way. Jace couldn't help but smile when he saw them and was glad that they were okay. Dustan smiled as he looked at the two, "how do you feel?" he asked as he headed over to them. "I feel like I just had a piece of me ripped out which I did. But besides that I am fine." he said with a slightly smiel and continued to stroke Destinys head.

Gesei watched softly as she saw Destiny moving a bit though calming again to Jace's touch. She then listened to him as she looked at him softly and had a slight idea. "Maybe me and Diea could help with it... we did help with healing Baindo's two crushed legs. We repaired the bones even though parts were missing and normally he would have never been able to walk again. We could try and help with your wings if you'll let us?" she asked softly and really did want to help. This, however, would mean that he would have to stay in his dragon form for awhile as they would try to help re-grow the bones for his wings. It sounded really hard and complicated to someone with no experience though to Gesei and Diea it wasn't impossible.

Jace smiled when he saw Destiny stir but continued to stroke her head. He wanted her to sleep for as long as she could since she needed it. But when he heard Gesei he wasn't sure waht to say. Slowly he rolled the thought in his head and then nodded, "I would like it if you could try." he said as he looked at Gesei. He couldn't believe that when he first got here he had tried to kill these people. Now they where his family and were actually going to try and make new wings for him. He truelly didn't know how to repay them anymore. Dustan nodded and smiled, he knew that this was big for him. If a dragon lost its wings it was a tragety but if he could get them back it was a miracal.

Gesei smiled some and nodded as she leaned against Dustan softly as she watched Jace stroking Destiny's head. Soon though she started to stir again and yawned slightly into his chest though was awake now for the most part. She hadn't looked up yet and she thought that she heard her parents voices though she wasn't fully sure since she was still kind of out of it.

Jace smiled when he saw Destiny wake and gently stroked her head more. "hey, how do you feel?" he asked her softly as he kept her close. Dustan smiled when he saw his little girl awake and wondered if she even realized they where here. But by the way she was looking at Jace he doubt that she knew.

Destiny blinked some and yawned again still not fully aware of her surroundings, of her parents. "I'm in a little pain." she murmured quietly then moved a bit and looked over her shoulders some feeling eyes on them. Her face lit up a bit when she saw her parents and she smiled at them though it was weak. Just from the little way she moved now you could see the scars around her collar and a few small thin one of her neck. Most of the scars were covered though there were some on her collar, her face(pretty much that's only on her cheek) and her arms and legs if they were visible at all. Of course she had some on her chest, stomach, waist, and thighs too though those were visible at alll and those were some of the deepest.

Dustan smiled at his daughter and walked over. Gently he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled, "glad to see you awake." he said as he smiled at her. He was glad to see that she wasn't in a coma like her mother had been in. But the scars would nevergo away, he knew that. Jace smiled as he looked at destiny bu when he saw the scars on her hecouldnt help but frown. He might get his wings back and never remember this day. But destiny would always remember it. As he thought of that he decided he could live without his wings, that way they both could remember this day. He would tell gesei this later but for now he wanted to just enjoy being like this
