''I'd go with the limb cutting at the moment, can't throw up when we're attacked if we're going to be.'' She shrugged it off, and then she smiled softly. The thought of being usefull at the circus instead of buying stuff just to keep it going a little bit made her happy, somehow. In Cireminaelle's 2000 year old life she did a lot of things that should have made her proud... Including being a hero. But that wasn't so fun as it would seem. Keeping the light in the furnace with fire that can burn down a whole forest in once wave with ease... It seems like something great, but to her it was a twisted life waiting. Once peace had been restored, it was time for her to leave with a simple goodbye. That was being a hero... Was that what power meant? To be honest, the fox didn't know anymore. A smile played her lips.
''Healing... It was and still is about pouring in your emotions, but I was taught my whole life to shut down so it was only natural for me to be bad at it. Still am, which reflects in my still poor healing... I used to practise it hour after hour. Mainly because I took so long. Only years later I noticed I could use that book for different purposes, so no, we're are totally unique people... Which is a good thing. Individuality is what makes you you and me me after all~ Still, that doesn't mean I disapprove, or look down at it mind you, I wouldn't have been able to do it.'' Cire said, smiling broadly. Of course, she noticed Ahanna was bright. Very bright. But to actually make something for instant sleep? No, she hadn't expected that.

Lucifer lay on his stomach, next to Scarlett, and stretched again. "So sore ... I need to practice more, from now on," he whined, smirking at Scarlett. Reaching over, he played with her hair, and smiled softly. "You did wonderfully, my dear." He yawned and closed his eyes, his hair falling into his face. "I smell disgusting ... All musky and stuff," he pouted and looked at her. "We shall picks flowers tomorrow, yes?" His light German accent pulling through. Slowly, he closed his eyes again. "I want to spend the entire day with you, though," he laughed. "I've been saying that far too much, huh?"

Mellie finished picking her medicine up, and took the last bit. Chugging water, she wiped it off her jaw, then set the cup down. She slowly took off her dress, and stood there, in her undergarments. Her hand reached over to the side table and grabbed her brush. As she brushed her hair, she closed her eyes and smiled softly. Her hair was slightly snarled, because she didn't put it up during her practice, but she had no troubles getting them out. She opened her eyes and took out her earrings, and took off her emerald necklace. Setting them on the table, she yawned softly, and hiccuped. When she turned around, she was looking straight at a dangling spider. It was staring back at her, so close to her nose, that when she looked at it, she went cross-eyed. "EYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" she cried out, not wanting to move, in case it touched her.

"Yes, we'll pick flowers tomorrow." She said, smiling a little. "And no, you smell wonderful." She said, kissing him on the cheek. "You tired?" She asked, yawning a little and closing her eyes as well. "You need practice? Your not the one that almost fell tonight.." She mumbled, biting her lip and opening her eyes. She looked over at Lucifer and put her hand on his chest. " How old are you?" She whispered, her eyes looking into his. Age didn't matter to her but it would be nice to know certain things about the man you sleep next to at night.

"I can't imagine that would be any fun though. So we should probably stick with no weapons." She smiled at Cire. "Well it is always good to learn new things. And I suppose uniqueness is a good thing." She thought about the teas and herbal packets in her tent. All this talk of sleep made her think of the teas she needed to work on.

Rythen smiled as he kept juggling. He missed these simple times. Suddenly he heard a cry come from Mellie's tent. The hunters must have gotten in her tent somehow. He dropped his hands and jumped up. He heard the juggling balls fall to the ground but he didn't care. He ran into her tent and froze. She was in her undergarments and she was the only one in the tent. A second later he noticed the spider in front of her face. He stuck out his hand and the spider dropped on it. He carefully took the spider outside and placed her safely on the ground. He went back in the tent but stayed facing away. "I just wanted to say sorry for intruding on you." He started to go back outside.

Mellie watched Rythen take the spider and sighed happily. "You can come in, in a moment!" she called out, and searched her dresser. Finally, she pulled out a soft pink nightgown, and slipped it on. It came around two inches above her knees, and it was silky. Lace lined it, but didn't overwhelm the nightgown. It didn't look slutty, and it wasn't revealing. When she straightened it out, she put her pill bottles back into the cabinet, and shut it. Smiling, she called out, "You can come in! Sorry for leaving without saying anything, I was just feeling ... Nauseous." She put her hair up in a bun, and tied her lucky ribbon around, securing her hair.

Lucifer nodded. "Wicked tired, and you did just fine," he smiled and turned onto his side, pulling Scarlett close to him. He lay there, and breathed in her scent. His hands held her back securely as he wanted her to feel safe and worry-free. There were hunters around, yes, but they could not be killed. He would do whatever it took to protect everyone he could, even if they wanted to fight on their own. "You will never age, Scarlett ... We will stay young forever ... I suggest you do not befriend anyone unless you are willing to let them die," he whispered, one hand reaching up to fiddle with her hair.

Scarlett nodded a little, kissing him lightly on the lips. " I understand.. though I can't help but make friends." She said, letting him pull her close to his chest. She felt safe so close to him. "Could you do me a favor so I can fall asleep faster?" She asked softly.. yawning a little. She took his hand, placing it on her arm. "Would you just trace your finger across my arm to spell something out? My mother used to run her finger over my arm and trace the word love until I fell asleep.." She felt kind of childish for asking this of him but it helped her sleep without nightmares since usually her dreams were full of nightmares.

Lucifer laughed and nodded. He thought for a second, and hummed while he thought. He didn't want to copy her mother, so he slowly traced, wanting her to guess what he was spelling.
R was first. He smiled and moved to the next letter.
O.
He looked at her, seeing if she would guess right off the bat.
S.
He took the time to yawn, and then traced the final, obvious letter.
E.
He traced the letters over and over, closing his eyes, soon. 'Roses are the symbol of love.' He heard his mother talking to him, in the back of his head, and he smiled more.
R.O.S.E.

She smiled a little. "Rose? How sweet.." She said, curling up closer to him and pulling the cover over them both. She then realized he had gone around answering her question. "Lucifer, how old are you? I don't care about age.. just please tell me. I'll still kiss you and hold you and be with you every moment you want me around.." She said, smiling a little. Yellow roses meant get well, white roses meant death, blue roses meant sadness, and red roses meant everlasting love. She planted another kiss on his jaw line.

Rythen had stepped outside when he heard Mellie call out to him. He stayed right outside the tent. He could feel the heat of his blush on his cheeks. When she called again he walked back inside. He was happy to see that she now had at least a nightgown on. It was a pretty one and while he had seen her and many other girls in dresses shorter he still couldn't stop blushing. He looked off to the side instead of looking right at her. "I hope you are doing better now."

Lucifer laughed and looked down at her. "I was born two hundred and forty nine years ago," he smiled softly and yawned, placing his hand over his mouth as he did so. Then he kissed the top of her head, and reached down, pulling the blankets over him. "I stopped aging at twenty one years old, like most immortals. Physically, I am twenty one, mentally and technically, I am two hundred and forty nine." He felt embarrassed, being so old and with someone so young ... But love conquers all ... Right? He blushed hard and grunted, wrapping his legs around hers.

Mellie smiled and nodded. "I am fine!" she giggled, then looked closely at Rythen. "Hey ... You look red! Are you alright?" she asked, totally oblivious to the situation. She approached him, and reached up, setting her hands on his cheeks. With her reaching so high, her nightgown was close to revealing her underwear, but she didn't notice. "You're not warm ... Would you like to sit?" she asked, looking at him. She wanted him to stay the night ... She didn't feel too safe, but she wasn't going to tell him. Sometimes, she wished people could read her emotions, but so far, no one has been able too. Walking away, she went to her bed and fixed the blankets, her face in a twisted mix between sadness, fear, and happiness. She was too tired to smile, to tired to cry ... Too tired in general. The day had been too much for her.

Scarlett smiled and ran a few kisses from his jaw to his lips, one of her legs gently went over his. "THat's not so bad. I'd only think it was weird if you were a thousand.. but age is nothing compared to the heart." She said, putting her head by his neck. "As Mark Twain once said.. ' “Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.” She grinned.

"It is good to hear you are alright now." When she walked over to him and placed her hands on his cheeks he looked down for a moment then looked away. "Oh, um no. I'm fine." He watched as she walked over to her bed. She seemed tired and afraid. The day had been a lot and then with the addition of the hunters things weren't great. "I could stay here tonight if you want me to." He looked away from her hoping he hadn't been too forward.

Lucifer laughed and shook his head. "That is so true," he grinned and ran his fingers over her neck, softly, then down her back. He yawned and closed his eyes once again, and his smile faded as he felt himself be pulled to sleep, but not before quickly opening his eyes so he wouldn't fall asleep on Scarlett. He smiled gently and pulled her closer. "Hurry up and fall asleep ..." he joked and sighed softly.

Mellie blushed hard and stopped when he had mentioned staying. Slowly, she looked up at him, not trying to hide her beet red face. She smiled softly and pat her bed. "Well, then! Hurry up!" she giggled, and lay down, blowing out her candles. For a second, she thought, then, "What about Ahanna? Will she be alright?" she asked. Sitting up, she watched him, and waited for a reply. While she waited, she admired his special glow, and blushed a bit, knowing it could not be seen in the moons dim light that show through her partially open tent.

"Fine.." She said softly, laying her head on his chest and letting herself fall asleep to the thoughts of her future and everything that was bound to happen in it. She breathed softly, her chest rising and falling in a pattern so you coukd tell that she was asleep. She dreamed of her and Lucifer walking threw a rose garden, hand in hand and laughing about certain stories they told each other. Then suddenly she was on the high wire alone. Surrounded by darkness. She couldn't see where her foot went but as she started to fall she saw an angel that looked like her mother, pulling her safely onto the net and telling her stories of Scarlett's past.

Lucifer lay his head back, and smiled, closing his eyes. He thought of everything that had happened ... He forgot about all of his sadness as he felt himself sink into the happiness of the day that had just happened. Hearing the clock strike ten, he let himself sink into a light sleep, dreaming of his beautiful mother. Her blonde hair flowing, her blue eyes shining in the sunrises and sunsets of every day she and he spent together. He smiled in his sleep, and sunk deeper into sleep, snoring softly. He usually never slept on his back, because he felt like he was going to die from suffocation, and he snored. On his stomach, he never snored, but for Scarlett's sake ... He would do anything to keep her comfortable and safe.

Finally finding her favorite necklace Zalia threw it on then whirled around when she heard her name being called. When she noticed it was Cire's voice she smiled and poked her head out of her tent. "Hey guys! Yes tonight's show was one of the best we've had. Scarlett did scare me for a second but I knew she would pull through," She said brightly. Stepping out she smoothed her sweater with her hands. "What's up?" She asked with a smile.

The twins left the big tent and made there way to their own tents. Splitting up each girl went to her own tent and changed for the night. Both changed into loose harem pants and another bra top. Azra was wearing light pink and Chenol was wearing silver. They still wore ballet slippers the colors matching their clothes and they were still wearing their native jewels and chains. Walking back outside they grabbed each others hand and started gracefully walking. They liked to take walks at night, it calmed them after a long day.

Sure enough she laughed again, the comfortable atmosphere did its magic tricks on her. Apparently Zalia had already changed, not that it mattered, just a small thing she could notice with what little her human body allowed her.
''Indeed, the sad part is that it was Emily and Adam's last... And of course Scarlett'd pull through and everyone knew she probably would but that not so tiny chance she wouldn't... That's what keeps it amazing everytime you see it~'' Emphasized with a twirl of her right hand, an almost knowing smile on her face as she complimented the last act.
''Well, we wanted to have a girls' night out... Sorta. Ask everyone to go out and have fun. We thought of running around at night, complain about life while watching the stars for the melancholic effect, and wanted to invite you and the twins. We thought of letting Ahanna ride the unicorn, you ride the pegasus, and I could take Mellie up my back if she wants to... I'm sure I could take the twins up my back as well, considering my back is short and thus very usefull for multiple people, which comes to my question, would you like to join us~?''

Rythen had forgotten about Ahanna but she would be fine. "Ahanna has her own tent and she'll be fine. If she is attacked in her tent the chances of her being hurt are very slim. She has enough poison to take out twenty hunters. Let me go grab some stuff from my tent. I'll be right back." He turned and ran out of the tent. He jogged over to his tent and grabbed his bed roll. He left his tent and went to the one next to his to look for Ahanna. She wasn't inside but when he looked around he saw her and Cire talking to Zalia. He walked over nearer and waited to tell her he wouldn't be in his tent.

Ahanna noticed Rythen standing off to the side but ignored him for the moment. She spoke up when Cire mentioned the twins coming along. "The pegasus can carry two people easily. If that would make things easier."

Scarlett was chatting with her mother in her dream when suddenly her mother started to decay right before her eyes. There were worms coming from her eyes and her hair was falling out as maggots consumed her. Scarlett screamed and tried to get them off her mother when one single bug got on her. The bug started to eat her alive, then more and more bugs piled over her until she could no longer breath. They covered her eyes so everything was black and started to take her towards an empty grave next to her mothers.

Scarlett woke up with quick, small breaths as she sat up and off of Lucifer's chest. She bowed her head, letting herself relax once she realized it was just a dream. She ran her hand threw her bangs to get them out of her watery eyes and slipped out of the bed. She pulled the cover over Lucifer more and put a pillow next to him so he wouldn't wake up and then went out of his tent and into the mess tent to get herself some coffee. She hadn't even slept that long by the looks of the girls going out somewhere after the circus ended were still here she gave them all a slight wave and got herself a small glass bottle of ice coffee. She popped the lid off and took a sip and sat on the counter. She swung her legs back and forth and looked down at her feet.

Mellie nodded and sat up, looking around. She yawned softly and stretched, her stomach turning slightly. Resting her hand on her stomach, he smiled and waited for Rythen. While she did so, she listened carefully. Slowly, she stretched and sighed gently. It was so quiet, here ... Kinda creepy. As she waited, she started to sing a few kid songs. Ones her mother used to sing to her. She sung softly, not wanting anyone to hear, and smiled to herself. 'I miss you, mother ...' she thought, sighing again. For a few minutes, she stopped, thinking she heard someone outside her tent, but knowing her, she was probably just psyching herself out.

Zalia's smile fell when Cire talked about it being Adam's and Emily's last night with them. "Yes I agree it is sad they are leaving us." When she mentioned a girls night her smile came back on her face. "Ohh I think that would be fun! You can count me in. I think the twins would like to come also. They are always so distant with most of us I think it would be good for them. I can conjure up extra horses if we need them!" She said as she walked back into her tent and grabbed her staff. She brought it out with her and when she was outside she made a circle motion with her hand over the top of it. Her long staff shrank until it was the size of a wand. Bending down she slid her staff into her right boot where she had little loops sewn into her boot to hold it.

Scarlett finished her coffee and threw the glass container away. She had her hand on her head as she walked back to Lucifer's tent. Her head had been killing her for the past few minutes so she figured she'd lay back down. She quietly laid back on the bed and looked over at Lucifer. She smiled since he was snoring and laid her head down on the pillow on her side of the bed, looking up at the ceiling and thinking of a trick she could do for her next act. Her eyes looked back at Lucifer. He didn't seem very comfortable laying on his back but she wouldn't wake him up just to tell him that. She put her hand on the necklace he'd given her and traced her finger along the rose indents.

Mikhail simply shrugged and flashed a grin at Roe, "Females aren't the only ones that can be late to a party. Come now girl, you must know that." His handsomely structured face settled into it's usual calm demeanor as he listened to Roe share what information that they were able to gather on the circus freaks. His cunning eyes glinted with a cunning light as he mentally filed away the information for further use. "We will have to proceed with caution. Should I assume that the two of you have been formulating a plan now?" Mikhail was not one that usually paired up while in the field, but considering the number that made up the group he would have to play nice and settle with the two siblings.

Rae continued with a small piece of information, talking about the two elves that owned the pegasus and unicorn. His head tilted to the right slightly as he looked to Roe, "A male on a unicorn? I'm beginning to feel that we can almost peg his sexual preference now thanks to that tid bit. Not that it really matters." The thought was amusing to him and something he wanted to see for himself. Call it sick humor if you would.
"Tch, Roe love; if that is what you consider a warm welcome well then I much rather not get the cold shoulder from you. At least not yet doll. Maybe I could give you a better reason to be a little warmer towards me. Hm?" He winked at her before growing more serious. "Come on, you know how they like to work. This way they can weed out who they deem as weak in the order." Leaning up against the tree that Rae still sat perched in, those strangely colored eyes looked to study the circus once again. "I guess that you two weren't. Try not to take it too personally though ladies. With the three of us this should go a lot smoother."

It was then that he heard the shrill cry of a female ring out in the night. A form hurried from one tent to another as he watched. Muscles tensed waiting to spring into any sort of action he relaxed once again as minutes ticked by and nothing more happened. He watched as two female twins headed off to their own personal ones. It seemed that things were coming to a quiet end for the evening. "Or maybe things are just beginning..." He thought as he saw the twins emerge and rejoin to clasp hands. Looking to Rae and then Roe he nodded in both of their directions, "Ladies." With that he was off.

Again he stalked quietly through the tree trailing the twins at a short distance. He had a feeling that things were about to get a lot more interesting...

"We will. We had planned on watching and waiting. If any of them break off we would attack them or maybe after they go asleep. So really no plan." Rae paused and smiled thinking of the elf on the unicorn. "I don't know. He spent most of his free time with a woman. At the end she was hanging all over him. And no it doesn't matter but it is funny. She laughed at him. "My cold shoulder would be shooting you. So I do doubt you would like it." She didn't respond to the other part. He was good looking but now was not the time. "I'm glad to hear that you plan on helping and weren't sent to see that we were weeded out." She sneered at the word. She knew it was true and had seen it many times. Weak members could mean the death of the entire team but if they thought she and her sister were weak she would show them. Shooting the freaks and shooting anyone that tried to hurt them would be all the same.

Roe stayed silent as her sister talked to him. She never came up with the plans. She just waited for her sister to say what to do and did it. "Rae be nice. He's just here to help. And it isn't like we did too bad. They just told us to find the freaks hiding in a circus. They had no idea where they where until we found them." She looked out as the scream sounded. "That man that just ran to the tent, that was the elf."

The sisters watched as the man took off. Roe sighed and climbed back up the tree.

Letting go of her sisters hand Azra did a front flip then bent down and started walking on her hands. It was one of her favorite things to do when she was bored. She walked like that for awhile as her sister followed after her then she bent her legs down until they touched the ground and came up gracefully to stand on her feet. Looking back she grinned at her sister. "So what shall we do tonight sister dear? I want to do something fun!" She said and stretched her hands up to the sky.

Watching her sister Chenol shook her head at her. Azra was always the carefree chatty one where she was more silent and mysterious. "I don't know Az. What we normally do?" She was about to say something else when she sensed something. Coming to a stop she looked around. "Do you feel that?" She whispered softly to her sister who had come to a stop in front of her.

Frowning Azra looked around and then suddenly felt it. It feels like a hunter. I'm sensing one nearby. She used their connection to talk to her sister through their minds. It always came in handy to be able to do it. Yes it does feel like a hunter. Great the circus can't change locations until we get them out! Chenol said back through their connection. Out loud she said,"Never mind! I think my nerves are still jumped up from the show. Come on let's keep walking until we calm. Grabbing her sisters hand they began walking again. They were going to see if the hunter followed them.
