Margaret brushed the sand off her feet and slipped her shoes back on, then followed Aleron to the pokemon center.

Aleron waited just outside the door for her, letting her go in and get her pokemon taken care of.

Margaret went up to the counter and handed over all of her pokemon. She knew she would get them back in a few minutes. Once she handed them over, she went to sit with Aleron.

Aleron relaxed where she sat, looking out over the water. "You know, this is remarkably peaceful."

Margaret nodded.

"It is," she agreed.

Aleron let out a pleased sigh before blinking when the door opened.

"Your pokemon are all healed," Nurse Joy said with a pleasant smile, handing back Margaret's pokeballs.

"Thanks," Margaret replied, taking her pokeballs and clipping them to her belt again. She looked at Aleron. "Want to relax here for a bit, or try to make our way a bit further inland?

"Hmm. Stay here a bit. The eggs seem to like it," she said, lowering her voice. And the fire egg did, at least. It wasn't so hot.

"Fine with me," Margaret replied. She'd noticed the change, as well. The ice egg wasn't quite so cold. Setting her things down, she let her pokemon out. Her new Staryu seemed a bit confused, but Natu immediately went over to chirp at it.

"It's so weird hearing half a conversation," Margaret commented to Aleron once Staryu relaxed enough to chat with Natu.

Aleron laughed quietly as she let her two out as well, watching the two play and romp in the sand. "Yeah, I know the feeling. Although try listening to about two dozen at once."

"No thanks," Margaret replied. Reaching down, she picked up the still-chattering Natu. "Easy, sweetie," she said. "No need to talk it to death."

Aleron chuckled and opened her arms when Vulpix pranced back over to her, obediently brushing off the pokemon of all the sand. Jolteon just shook himself off.

Margaret nudged Espeon.

"Go talk to Staryu," she said. "Get all the relevant information, like what moves it knows and such. And let it know if it wants to evolve, I have a water stone my parents can send to me."

Espeon nodded and went to chat with Staryu, though much slower and more understandably than Natu did.

Aleron chuckled and finished brushing off Vulpix, letting the pokemon go sniff both eggs to her satisfaction.

Margaret grinned when she noticed Metagross floating stubbornly above the sand, not touching it.

"The sand won't hurt you, you know," she pointed out. Metagross rumbled at her, and she snickered. "Okay, I'll give you that one."

"What did he say? It would bet in his joints?" Aleron raised her eyebrows.

"He says it itches," Margaret replied. "And because he's a steel-type, if he touches it too much, it runs the risk of being static-charged and then it ends up sticking to him."

Aleron nodded. "Yeah, I can understand that. Well, if he ends up with any on him, let me know and I'll give him a good scrubbing."

Metagross rumbled an affirmative.

"He says he will," Margaret translated.

"Cool." Aleron reached over and brushed a little more sand off Jolteon, and the electric pokemon touched her hand with his nose before bounding over to pounce on Vulpix, who immediately started complaining and whining.

Margaret watched the two wrestle, and was surprised when Espeon joined in the fun.

Aleron laughed and shook her head, watching them have their fun. It was rather amusing to watch them, after all.

Margaret laughed too. It was good to relax for a bit.

Aleron shook her head as Vulpix and Jolteon teamed up on Espeon, having fun taking her to the sand.

Margaret giggled a bit when Espeon managed to slip out from under them and pin Vulpix down.
