Vulpix immediately started squirming around to make it more difficult, while Jolteon just sat back and watched.

Once Vulpix started to squirm around, Espeon let go and pounced on Jolteon. He was closer to her size, and would be more of a challenge to pin down in the first place.

Jolteon let out a very undignified sound and started wrestling with her, being careful not to shock her or anything.

Even though Jolteon was faster, Espeon seemed to know what he would do a split second before he did it, so the wrestling match stayed fairly even.

Jolteon used his slight weight advantage to the best he could, pouncing on her into the sand.

Espeon gave an undignified squeak and worked to wiggle free.

Jolteon barked with laughter and backed off.

Espeon got up and shook herself, and then tackled him to the ground playfully.

"Aww, how cute," Margaret murmured to Aleron.

"Aww. Looks like we might end up with some little Eevee eggs," Aleron muttered, as Jolteon nosed Espeon's side.

"We just might," Margaret replied quietly.

Aleron just smiled, pleased, and settled back as Vulpix came crawling back to flop across her lap. The princess was done playing and wanted nap time.

Margaret leaned down and picked up her Natu as the little bird hopped by.

"You get to stay with me," she said. "No more bothering the others."

"She can talk to Vulpix. Vulpix has had lots of experience with little babies." Aleron grinned.

Natu didn't need any more permission than that. She hopped down off of Margaret's lap and went over to Vulpix, glad to have someone else to talk to.

Vulpix chatted with Natu, keeping the younger pokemon easily entertained. Aleron listened to her half of the conversation.

Margaret listened as Natu boasted about knowing Faint Attack, although none of her clutchmates knew the move.

"She must have inherited that," Margaret murmured to Aleron. "That's not a normal move for a Natu, or a Xatu."

Aleron nodded. "Yeah, sounds like. Lucky for her."

Vulpix snorted and nosed the little bird pokemon.

Natu fluttered her little wings to keep upright, and then Teleported just out of reach. She chirped cheerfully, and it sounded like giggling to Margaret.

Vulpix got up and went to go play with Natu indulgently, being careful not to actually be too rough since she was bigger.

Margaret watched the two play, noting how pleased Natu was.

"Looks like Natu has a new friend," Aleron said with a little grin. Vulpix nosed Natu again.

"That's good," Margaret replied.

"Yes, it is." Aleron paused before she snickered, watching Jolteon roll over and bat at Espon with his paws, clearly playing.

Espeon was clearly enjoying playing with Jolteon. She pounced on him and wrestled with him, batting at him every so often.

Jolteon growled playfully, batting at her and pinning her down once in a while.
