"Most likely all three," Margaret replied. "Big, strong, and angry. Thing is, how could we have missed something like that, though? If it's that noticable, should we have, well... noticed it?"

"We should have, yes." Aleron frowned as something occured to her. "Unless it was moving so fast that we could only see flashes of it in the trees."

"What could be big enough to scare an entire forest, but still be fast enough to move without being seen?" Margaret asked. She remembered seeing the flashes in the trees, and she was wondering what they were. "You would think that every trainer in the world would want one, if it was some sort of pokemon..."

"...Unless it was a legendary," Aleron said, her voice barely a whisper. She looked over at Margaret, her eyes wide. Okay, yeah, it was a leap of logic, but the little voice in her mind told her she was right.

Margaret's eyes widened as well.

"What legends does Johto have?" she asked. The leap of logic seemed to make sense to her, too, somehow. "We have birds in Kanto, not... beasts. Except for Pokemon Cave, but that's a whole other case..."

"We have three legendary dogs and two birds," Aleron said, glancing around automatically. "The dogs travel, but they have home bases. I think one of the home bases might actually be Bellsprout Tower."

Margaret glanced up to where she could see the top of Bellsprout Tower, still swaying gently. The top few floors looked like they were open-air, with the roofs and floors held by carved pillars.

"We could get to the top of the tower if we had a flying-type," she said. "Something that can get us up there from the outside. That is, if we wanted to get up there."

"Maybe we should give it another hour or two to just calm down." Aleron paused for a moment. "And then maybe see if we can get up there."

Margaret thought about it for a moment.

"Waiting a while sounds good," she agreed. "I can probably have my parents send me my Noctowl... She can get us up to the top, at least. She knows Fly."

"Or if you want, I have a Pidgeot I could borrow from one of my brothers." Aleron shrugged. "Either way, we can get to the top."

"We can figure it out in a little while, once things have calmed down," Margaret replied. "You're comfortable with the Pigeot, I'm comfortable with my Noctowl, maybe we'll each use our own, who knows." She was rambling a bit, but she couldn't help it. The slight shock from earlier was catching up to her.

Aleron nodded a few times. "Well, that sounds good. Figuring it out later. And relaxing for a little bit. Definitely relaxing." She sighed and started walking back to the pokemon center.

Margaret nodded in agreement and followed her into the pokemon center. Relaxing sounded like a wonderful idea.

Aleron sat down on a cot and sighed, rubbing Vulpix's ears gently. She pulled out some food and started nibbling on it, knowing she needed to eat.

Margaret wasn't in the mood for anything to eat. Instead, she took out her maintenance kit and started to scrub down Metang, to give herself something to do.

Aleron sighed and shook her head. "Do we want to go tonight or tomorrow? I think my nerves are a little frazzled still."

"Tomorrow," Margaret replied promptly as she worked the wire brush into one of Metang's joints. "Definitely tomorrow. Gives everyone time to relax and sleep."

"Tomorrow sounds good." Aleron smiled a little and pulled off her boots, releasing Jolteon for the night.

Once she finished polishing Metang with a cloth, she took out Espeon's brush and brushed her. Espeon stretched out and purred softly as she was brushed.

Aleron brushed out Vulpix's fur, and then petted Jolteon for a while. She eventually relaxed, deciding sleep would be a good idea.

After a while, Margaret put away the brush and settled down on her cot. She was still a little shaken from earlier, but she was able to relax enough to fall asleep.

Aleron got up the next morning and stretched out, feeding her two pokemon and snacking herself. She pulled out her pokedex and called her brother, asking to borrow his Pidgeot.

Margaret woke up the next morning before either of her pokemon did. She got up off her cot quietly, so she didn't wake them, and went over to the vid phone/transfer unit in the corner. She called home, and was surprised when her mother answered the phone. After a quick conversation, her mother agreed to send over the Noctowl, and a moment later Margaret was clipping the pokeball to her belt. It felt oddly good to have another member of her team again.

Aleron sighed as she looked at the pokeball. She really needed to get her own flying type pokemon. Pidgeot would be a good choice, but she had other options too.

"Are you ready to go whenever we're all ready?" Aleron asked quietly.

"Let me just get them breakfast, first," Margaret replied, digging some food out of her bag. Espeon and Metang were awake by now, and she knew they noticed the third ball on her belt. Once they were all fed, she looked back at Aleron. "Ready when you are."
