I used to be friends with her.

Just couldn't stand her after awhile.

No one is perfect... People clash, even without either being jerks. Chemistry.

We're just both hella stubborn and have big personalities that exploded after a few months.

It happens, I still respect her as a person and always will.

Protective of your friends. A good friend to have, I believe. I tend to be irrational myself when someone I love risks getting hurt.

I have or had a friend like that. Though I cannot say I blindly protect them... If they made a mistake, I will point it out, say what I think of it and try to get them to make amends.

Shadow: he's made a shitton of mistakes, unless it's him going back to heroin, yeah I'll defend him because there's always reasons behind what he does. I just have a zero tolerance for drugs.

His family doesn't want him around, most of his friends just ditch him for no reason, etc etc.
