rael: i think it's normal for us people in our 20's to feel like we need to have a niche, but it's also not bad to just be a floater... are you just starting in school? there are lots of opportunities to meet new people in college! :yes: also there are lot of artists in mene and i'm sure lots of them would be willing to chat about art and techniques, just ask! :D

I have this book called Quarterlife Crisis and I think maybe I'm kinda going through that cause I really have no cemented idea of where I'm going, just ideas and hopes I suppose. It just hurts my self confidence and my mood because I actually have no physical friends. I have a few people that I'm friends with over the net but I feel disconnected from them because I'm a visual and physical person in those bonding situations and what not. I've met a few people at my college but no one that I can feel like I really can connect with and all. I think maybe I will start doing that though and asking Artists for advice and techniques and what not. Though I'm also tempted to go to like the Art Requests section to find an artists style I like to work with me to draw my pet project character but finding someone to do that is a bit difficult though.

@Lin: I thought so, but now I'm not so sure. :c

Well thank you for the invite Iku, after I get out of class and get home and all, I think I'll stop by. Like I said, I'd really love to learn to draw, its one of those things I've always wanted to learn to draw because my innate creative and visual styles, I think I have much to offer others as far as the interesting images I could bring forth from my mind. Not to mention being able to visual and actually see my characters on paper or what not would just make their development sooo much easier. Talking about all of this actually made me feel better and I hate Thursdays and all so thank you both, Iku and Lin. ^^

rael, just take baby steps... maybe try to be more social online cause it's much easier and then you'll get more confidence, which will help you in real life. i've talked to lots of people around mene who have told me as much happened to them too :)

@Tie: You're welcome. :D Hopefully you'll be able to get some help. I definitely feel that frustration when it comes to drawing. You have an idea in your mind and you want to get it out, but it's just not coming out right. D:!

The fish, the squid, the hair, and I THINK that steam by your feet... you have to tell me which CI that is.
