Yeah I'd love to have those vibrant colors, but I don't want to do the bleaching, so eff that. :lol:
My hair a very dark brown almost black color.

my hair is a dirty blond colour, but it has natural light brown highlights. I want to dye it purple, but I would have to bleach it if I wanted it to look really purple. >.<

If its a natural dark brown, then bleaching it isn't that bad.. my hair is still pretty fragile from the heavy bleaching I did about three months ago, but when you're lifting from natural colors it doesn't take as much out of the hair.

Momo, you wouldn't have to do much.
If you wanna do purple, get like a white blonde highlight kit and use it to lighten a few chunks.

@Whim: My mom did the same thing. She mostly just didn't want the dye to touch my scalp because she was scared it would ruin my hair. -shrugs- I dyed the ends instead. XDD

clor: I can only use semi permanent dye, my mom wont let me use permanent dye because she wants my hair to stay like it is. xD she says I can dye it when I am older. BUT if we can find that stuff I used once, I will use it! my hair was pretty redish brown for a while. :3

I don't think I'll be able to handle dying my ENTIRE head a color.
I was really just thinking of dying the tips or maybe a streak somewhere.
But even with that she still said no :cry:

There's this kind of I think Suave Colorfoam, you could get a sexy burgundy, sort of purple brown that would wash out. I seen it at Wallgreens.

And dye doesn't really mess with your scalp if you aren't allergic to it.. do a spot test on your arm f you're scared. My scalp tingled for a few days after the two hours of bleach but you know, it was bleach..
