Not at all. Just be active and your gold count will grow. Creating threads also gives you a bonus of 50g so making said shop will net you 50g from the get go. Also, you get .1g every time someone posts in your thread(s).

The most you post, the more gold you'll make. It's easy to make at least 100g a day just from posting once you have your regular hang out threads and forums to haunt. You can also make up to 250g from games a day.

Chi- That's okay. I know several people that do that. My in real life friends call me "hun" all the time. It only bothers me because that, to me, means that my name isn't worth remembering to you.

ah, a valid point, half the 'sweeties' i talk to are people i don't know well, though it's only an insult if i call you nothing at all or by your full user-name

If I don't know someone, I call them by their full username. (As you saw.) But generally after a couple post I just shorten that to a nickname. If the person doesn't like it, they normally ask about it. The people that don't bring it up, I figure, don't care. Also, when it's only myself and snother person in the thread I drop the name all together, 'cause who else would I be talking to? I only use names if there are more people, just to differenciate my answers.
