I'm incredibly nervous and stressed IRL, and they never survive for long.
My sister used to make ones for me, because I kept busting the ones my therapist gave me. :XD
She made them out of flour-filled balloons. They never lasted long either though, and there was a messy cleanup, but she meant well.

Have you tried filling up a size large balloon with a mixture of sand and tiny marbles and then over layering the balloon with a few more large balloons before tying up the ends? I believe that might work better than any other home made stress ball :XD
Or you can try the rubbery foam-ish kind of stress balls? I have a red stress ball like that, that I use a LOT and it's only slightly worn :lol:
