Thankfully I've lucked out for the most part with getting pretty cool professors. :)
Maka: Oh, cool! I need to finish my novel - and then get around to edit it (which will probably happen over Christmas Break - or at least I'll get started on it then.).

...OH! That. :XD
Yeah, I did, along with another book that I'd picked up this morning on my way to work. :XD
Wanted to rent another couple of books, but they would have to be returned by Sunday, which I can't, so maybe next Monday. :P

Well, depends on the type you rent. For newer books, they have to be returned after a day. For older novels, they have to be returned after two days per book, so if you have one book, you have to return it two days later, but if you have three books, you won't have to return it until six days later. I'm not sure on the rules for manga yet...:P

Yeah, usually manga has less time though, since supposedly people would be able to finish them quicker being 'picture books'.
I hate having to wait months for a novel I'm waiting on to be released though. :gonk:

Haha. Well... I can say that's true.
I have two out right now (one series I thought was over) that I need to get. I usually just forget about them until I see them in the bookstore.
Ah... this show has the cast of Twilight on... They were showing a clip from the new movie as I was walking towards the kitchen and I heard the main guy saying "Are you tired?" and I mumbled "Tired of this shit..." Then he said "Do you want to go for a swim?" and I mumbled "I want you to drown..."

Me too...I tend to forget a lot of the series I've been reading until I see them in the bookstore. Even then, I often go, "What's this?" or "This looks familiar...*scratches head*"
lmfao! If only they could hear what you said...
There's this awesome fanfic out there that started with Harry Potter and then moved on to Twilight in its sequel...it's about how the protagonists of the series (Harry Potter, Edward) are actually mentally ill and were hallucinating. They're both really awesome in that it actually has logical explanations for their 'hallucinations' and a cause for them, it's amazing. :XD
I recommend the Twilight one. I haven't even ever read the books nor watched the movies, but I could still understand it fine.

A lot of them have similar names so it gets confusing after a while.
Haha, no pressure. :XD
I found them really funny, like how Harry's hallucinations were a result from his parents (in the fanfic they're alive, Harry just thinks they're dead) entering him to a hospital to remove his conjoined twin (whose name is Tom), or how Edward's delusions were from a rare genetic disease that made him crave for blood (thus thinking he's a vampire), etc. etc...it almost made me wish that they were the official versions of the actual stories. At least Edward's would've made a better story than the real ones...*sigh*

Hahaha. xDDD That is pretty funny!
There was a parody of Twilight that came out called "Nightlight." Never read it though.

The actual stories're like fifty times more funny than my extremely butchered-shortened version. :XD I kept chuckling throughout the stories.

Yeeeah. They both have angel themes. I like the one with the male main character better.

I bet. I just try to stay far away from it... Reading is too much involvement for me. Especially having other things to read.
Oh gosh. :XD

That cover reminds me of this novel I read ages and ages ago...it's called Angel (with or without an s, I can't remember...), and I remember loving it so much. My favorite character was a demon named Malloch, but he got burned up by an angel-turned-demon-who-still-thinks-he-is-an-angel called Nethru. Even though he hadn't even done anything bad. I hate Nethru. :illgetu: And it was around that time I started getting the feeling that just about every character I like ends up dead.
Just the cover is enough to make me want to read it. :P
