Oh, that's kinda small. :O Some of the videos I've seen on YouTube had really huge guinea pigs in them, like around a foot long.

Well...from what I checked after Googling 'guinea pig types', I'm thinking mine're American guinea pigs, as the one in the picture looks almost just like the spotted one. :O *stares at Nyuu while Nyuu stares back*

Ahahaha. Awwww, they're so cute. > w< !!!
They're so small~
The family's guinea pigs they have are pretty big. > A>;
About 6-8 inches I think.
They're funny since they make a good amount of noise. XDD
But as far as the type and size... You'll find out in a few months! :rofl:

Yeah, I made sure to get them young so they'll be more adaptable to a new human and all. And so that they'll live longer. = w= The women selling them didn't know how old they were though, but estimated them to be a bit over two months old, maybe.
Oh yeah, they can be quite noisy. XD And they're nocturnal, so that means they might end up keeping me up at night. o_O;; I'll see how it goes for a few days and if they're making me unable to sleep, ("This is for you dragging us out of our sleep all the time! Take that! Ha!") I might have to move the cage out to the living room or something. ^^;;
lol Yeah, I can't wait! XDD I love the furriness of their pelts and how they're so good to cuddle with. = w= <33

Yeah, that's a good idea. :yes: Hopefully they adapt pretty quickly and easily.
Haha! You'll see~
Aww. Their fur can be pretty soft. Not my favorite rodents though. > A>;
But I think they're good pets. :yes:

Yeah. :yes: So far they're doing well, though I'll have to cuddle and pet them often so they'll be used to me grabbing them. They tend to scurry and hide into their tissue box when I approach or make any sudden movements. :sweat:
What's your favorite rodent? :O

Haha, aww. Yeah, just get them used to your smell and being pet, then gradually move to being picked up. P:
I love watching guinea pigs eat oranges. :XD
Probably Chinchillas and Chinese Dwarf Hamsters.
I want to get another CD Hamster, but .. so many pets already. = 3=

They don't mind me picking them up...well, at least I don't think they mind. They dodge a little when my hand goes into the cage, but once I have them in my hand they tend to stay put and let me pet them. :O
Ohh...too bad we don't have any oranges right now. :XD Maybe a banana?
Hamsters are second on my most wanted list of rodents for pets. :XD Oddly, I don't seem to see them around much in pet shops...:(
How many pets do you have in all? :O

@Ted-san: Aww, that's good! Seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to get them calm and trained about it then.
Hmm. No idea if they can eat bananas. :lol:
Hamsters are in about all the pet stores I go to. xDD
Oh, I need to show you some pictures I took of a parrot, a chameleon, and a cute lizard that's like ours.
Um.. 3 cats, 2 dogs, 1 chinchilla, and 1 lizard~
@Kay: Haha! Being a trial mod made me lose my head; so I went on vacation and retrieved it. ;D

I gave them some spinach stalks today and they loved it, though it made them pee a lot. :XD
I think I'll name the spotted one Munchkins. The way he noms on the spinach stalk was so adorable. :XD
Still don't know what to name the black one...Nibbler?
*watches the two cramming themselves into the food pan and squishing the other out*
Weird, I see lots of different rodents in there, but rarely hamsters. :(
Ohh! Parrots! :D
There're two giant models of chameleons near this abandoned train track that some people erected a few days ago, out of Styrofoam and then covering the Styrofoam with differently colored potted plants to give them the chameleon look. :heart:
Wow! That's a lot of pets! :XD

Yeah, I dunno why so many people dislike spinach. :XD I remember the pet shop feeding them yam leaves. :lol:
I like how they go all 'crunch crunch munch munch' when eating, even though they make a big mess. :XD (pieces of stalk, crumbs everywhere, etc)
Aww, such a cute parrot! :eager:
We once had two parakeets, one green and one teal, but they both died years ago. :( We still have their cage though. :XD
lol, Yeah, pets are like kids...that never grow up. :lol:
