You'll probably not like anchovies then, I think they sort of taste like mushrooms, with a certain anchovy flavor to them. :XD

Yeah...it's easy to cut and get rid of the seeds too. I'm suddenly craving papaya. :drool:

Yep! It was great, lots of courses and stuff. Me and my dad were both full by the time the main course actually arrived. :XD But we still managed to finish everything in the end. :lol: Haven't had steak in like a month I think. And it was super tender too. :drool:

Yeah. I don't think I'd like them. XDD Aren't they salty too?

It is! I kind of like cutting papaya because it's so soft. :lol:

Awesome. :eager: Reminds me of Olive Garden with all the courses before your actual main course; so by the time you get it, you're stuffed. :XD Glad you enjoyed it! Tender steak is the beeeeest.

Yeah, salty. I only like them when they're in salads, on pizzas, or in sandwiches...I don't like eating them plain. :XD

lol! For the same reason I hate cutting them because I'd be paranoid that I'm squishing the pulp and that's kinda nasty. :XD;;

Olive Garden sounds familiar for some reason...I know there's a chain restaurant store by the name of '橄欖樹' (Olive Tree), but I'm not sure if it's the same or not...
And yeah, so many courses! :XD The more expensive restaurants are almost all like that, filling you up with all those pre-main courses and stuff you full before you even see the main thing you ordered. :lol: Good thing there's such a thing as takeout. :P

Ah. Yeah, I don't like overly salty stuff. :c

Hahah. XDDD Opposiiiite~

Hmm, I wonder if that's the same or not. Such a similar name. * -*
I think that's good though, getting your money's worth and all that. And yes! So glad they let you take your food. :XD

I like salty stuff, as long as I have enough rice/other not-so-strongly-flavored foods to go along with it so I don't salt myself to death. :XD

We didn't takeout anything in the end, but the family next to our table nearly packed up everything from the main course on, including the drinks. :sweat:

Haha, I'd hope so! :lol: I like how salt enhances the natural flavor of stuff. :drool:

Wow. :shock: At least they're not wasting money I suppose. You guys ate all of your food though didn't you?

Yeah, imagine meat and vegetables and soup all without salt in it! :gonk: It just isn't the same anymore. My mom once forgot to add salt in the pot of bone soup she made (pork bones), and it smelled so good, but tasted so bad until salt was added. :sweat:

They left behind the fries though. And yeah, aside from one bite of bread and half a slice of soggy cheese cake, we finished everything. :P

Hahaha. XDDD So bland!

Ooh cheesecake! :drool: It's too early for me to thinking about big buffets of food. Lmao.

I was all, "Ohhh smells ni- What the... :gonk:" xDDD;;

lol! I love cheesecake, but only the 'heavy' kinds...the kinds that are silky to the taste and with those thick crusts beneath them. * w*

Lmfao! :rofl: Ugh, that's what happened with this "sauce" I made. I was skeptical because it was just butter and some thyme, but I was like "well, whatever, it's a recipe so I'm sure it will be fine." No. It was unsalted butter too. Ick. Nothing but butter flavor which is not that great without a bit of salt. XD It smelt nice though!

Heavy kind? Like New York style?

Haha, yeah, darn deceptive-scented foods! :illgetu: And I know this friend who caught a bread-plushie (plastic) from a claw machine that smelled just like a real bread, and her sister bit down on it, thinking it was a real piece of bread. :sweat:

Um...I'm not sure what New York styled cheesecake is like...it's like, a velvety texture as opposed to normal fluffy cake? :sweat:

Hahah. xDDD I have one those plushies. Bought in Tokyo Tower because I thought it was so cool. Looked like bread, smelled like bread. So squishy and cute. * -*

Hmmm. That's the most common style of cheesecake. I think I know what you mean about a velvety texture, but not sure. Ah well! :XD

I remember wanting to buy one of those, but then figured I'd probably just leave it lying somewhere. :XD;; It gets a bit sticky under warm weather though. :gonk:

As long as it's tasty! :XD

Ewww. XDD Mine hasn't gotten sticky thankfully. It doesn't get too hot here though, I think. At least not inside. It stays in the bedroom and unless I open the curtain, not much sunlight gets in there.

Haha, yes! That's what matters. :drool: It's warm here now so a nice cool slice of cheesecake would be nice.

It's way too warm here. :XD;; I know my brother's room (even with the blinds down and all) can reach up to 38C in the summers. :gonk:

I'm craving for some soup right now. :drool:

Hot! :XD In the mornings, it's still pretty chilly to me so I turn the heat on a bit, but by the afternoon, the AC has to come on. :lol: Not looking forward to all the bugs and mowing grass and humidity. Ick.

Mmm~ I want to try a cool soup!

Yeah, damn bugs. :gonk: Don't have to mow the grass here, but damn the humidity and all the little bugs often flying in at the office...I have one of those mosquito killers (or basically just a bug killer) tennis racket-like rackets to swing around with, zapping those little buggers.

I'm thinking of corn soup, like the kind McDonald's sell. :XD

It zaps them? O .o The fly-swatter zaps them?!?

Ooh! I don't think our McDonald's has ever sold corn soup. :O Be nice if they did.. xD

It looks exactly like this, but with the plastic part yellow:

Just put in a battery, and press down on the button on the handle while waving it around, and it'll zap any bug it comes in contact with!

Really? :O I thought all McDonald's across the world have mostly the same menus...guess corn soup isn't one of them. :XD;;

Whoooooa. :shock: Never seen that before! Pretty awesome!
Isn't that dangerous!? :XD

Haha nope~ I actually had a conversation with Iro and Jelly not too long ago about this. Was fun seeing all the little differences between menus. :O

Yeah, I didn't know those things existed until I was in junior high! :XD
And well...I guess it would be pretty painful if someone accidentally comes in contact with the net while the button was pressed, but I never tried. :sweat: It shouldn't be damaging enough to impair someone permanently, as it's only the power of one AA battery. :O

Oooh...I wonder what kinds of foods they have at American McDonald's that we don't have here in Taiwan. It's been too long since I last ate at one in the US. :eager:

Haha. Neat how other places have things that are the norm there and not the norm in other places. * o*
Ah. Yeah that doesn't seem like it would have a lot of energy behind it. P: People have gotten shocked with stronger so I don't think it'd do any permanent damage. xD
