I'm thinking about entering the art craft thing, though I'm not really a crafty person so I doubt I'd win anything...still...it'll be fun so I'll be trying and see what I come up with~

I want to do a wreath for that one, but not sure how I'd go about it.

I'm thinking of a papercut-Christmas tree decorated with some sparkly snow flakes.

I'm still pondering over the size. Thinking about using chopsticks and then whatever paper I can get my hands on...but it'll be a rather white Christmas tree with silver flakes on it, so I'm not sure how 'eye-catching' it'd be with only pale monochrome colors. ;;

That could be really pretty.

Never made my own.

I made the tree at work and then colored it green in the bathroom last night after getting home and then going through a frantic half-an-hour search for some water color paints.

Going to shine it up tonight if I have time~

Kirin- me either, but I've found a website that has tons of user created recipes for dieting. They have eggnog recipes, and I figure that that's the best I can make with what I have until after Christmas...

I took a picture at each stage, so I'll be taking another picture after I finish shining it up tonight. Still debating on whether or not to add more details to it afterwards since it'll take a lot of time.

The recipe I used didn't use enough sugar to make it eggnog sweet, so I added more. It also wasn't thick so I cooked it for about 10 minutes. Kinda browned the bottom on the mixture in the process. To me, it tastes like tapioca. Yum... But it's still good. It's in my freezer waiting to cool down enough for its picture to be taken.

I ended up not finishing the tree last night; the stench of nail polish killed me. x ___x; *was using it to make the tree 'shine'*

I did stick a 'star' to the top of the tree though. Fun. :P

Dansan, were you using a top coat for it or just a color? Either way, painting with nail polish is best done near an open door or window or even outside because of the fumes.

It's a clear nail polish with silver and blue glitter in it. Found it on a shelf somewhere and figured it'd look good like faux-snow flakes. No one in the family ever uses it anyway.

I painted it in my room with the door and window open, but there wasn't any wind so I guess the fumes just accumulated...I took the tree out to the living room where there's a larger window to dry later, but my dad complained about the smell too, so I ended up putting it in my brother's room since he doesn't live with us anymore.

Nimmy! That's not how you should paint. At least have a fan on.

In any case, it's dry now.
Pondering over if it's possible for me to add more details to it...but my mind's drawing a blank on inspiration...

you could add... glitter...and sparkles.... and rainbows... and sunshine...

Dansan: top coat is simply clear polish. No color or sparkles. It's stronger on nails and makes nail polish last longer. The stuff you used may chip off, but it might not cause its not on fingernails.

Well the liquid is clear, but it has glitter in them. Not top coat then. xDD;

Ah well. Can't be bothered with adding another layer, I'd choke on all the fumes. >_<;;
