Clock tries.
Clock will be up for 24 hours +
fall asleep at a normal time,
wake up at a normal time,
then the next night,
Clock just stares at the ceiling,
when trying to sleep at a normal time.
it's a constant cycle of sleep deprivation,
and then good sleep, then bad sleep,
and repeat.

Cora understands that. Cora is a chronic insomniac.

Clocks been nocturnal all her life, literally.

cora isn't nocturnal so much as cora goes days with no sleep and then suddenly just falls asleep no matter where she is.

even if Clock sleeps 8-12 hours at night,
half way through the morning/afternoon,
Clock will start to feel lethargic and sleepy.

Clock sleeps better during the day.

Sounds like you need a night job.
