@Cora: lol, Yeah. The only places where they're allowed to smoke indoors in Taiwan (that I know of) are pubs, bars, and Internet cafes. But in China, there are rarely such limits...out of all the restaurants we ate at, only two restaurants had a little sign on their tables that said not to smoke. But then there'd be a bunch of people smoking right outside the door and it all wafts inside every time someone opens the door.

Me too, I'd like to watch the whole trilogy again some time.

I haven't seen the Hobbit yet, but from what I've heard it's pretty good so I want to see that too someday.

i always stop to watch it when i see it on television.
they never get old to me, i think they did an amazing job.
when i love a book series i always think the movie will not do them justice.

Same here, I always pause and watch when I see it replaying on TV.
Haven't reread the books in a while, so some of the details are a little fuzzy to me now.

I liked the character of Gollum better than sauron...
i want to watch the hobbit too :D

Gollum had a lot more parts than Sauron in the movies...Sauron's just a floaty eye that stares around throughout most of the movies. XD

Yeah. Their television has a channel where it's a replay of an introduction of their hotel though, with the waterfall at its full glory, so we went back to our rooms and watched that instead.
