Oh gosh. XDDD Guess I can skip that then!

On second thought, I think I'll just get a cat.

I miss those silent days, though sometimes the complete silence could be rather deafening. I remember camping with my parents out in a forest and it was so silent I couldn't sleep.

Make sure you they have stuff to scratch and toys and all that. And even then, they'll probably still claw at the carpet occasionally and hop up onto counters and shiz. D;
But you love them~

Good thing we don't have carpets. Though I suppose it'll be a problem if the cat leaves scratch marks everywhere...
I'll keep on loving them as long as they don't eat/chew on my figurines/plushies.

Guess it takes getting used to no matter where you are.
I remember trying ear plugs, but they just felt so damn uncomfortable in my ears I gave up.

Yeah, especially in the city. At the one where I was proctor at about a month ago, there was the sound of trucks, trains, and construction drills all going on. >__> If I wasn't one of the proctors and am so used to the city noise it probably would've driven me crazy. xDD

Wow, Yeah I don't miss the city sounds at all. I think that's why I love it here so much. I don't ever hear that. Though as much as I love the wilderness sounds here, I really really miss the sound of waves crashing and seagulls. So peaceful and serene. We're going for Easter I can't wait!

Oh wow! Sounds like a good vacation coming up!
I like the sound of waves, but probably not the seagulls' cawing.

Wren's college is in a city that is far larger than her hometown. Once, when Wren went home, she had a panic attack because it was too quiet, and had to be taken back to the school.

D: That's not good.
I heard that absolute silence drives people crazy. They did this test where they put people inside a completely sound-proof room...and apparently no one could stand being in there for more than forty minutes at most.

Put me in there, I'll just sleep.
Naw, that is pretty interesting though. I watched this one episode of .... crud, I forgot the name of the show. Ah, Mythbusters. The guy was testing the "cabin fever" thing. I think they found out it was true (I guess it would help if I actually remembered the results.. XD).
@Veno: Haha, that is a simple quest. XDD

Yeah, I think I'd either nod off or go into one of my day-dreaming modes.
Oh yeah! I've been wanting to see the cabin fever episode. I saw it mentioned on Wikipedia when looking up on another one of their myth tests in the show, and saw the cabin fever mentioned and wanted to see it so bad.

Yeah, definitely. I sit in silence plenty of times, but I'm usually doing something though, like on the computer. So there's still like... ambient noise like me typing and the computer humming. Noises outside too.
You should watch it!

Yeah, the sound of my typing can actually be pretty loud, along with all the clicking and stuff. XDD
Not to mention the sound of traffic outside...>.>;
I'll try searching for it on YouTube tomorrow. :o

Haha, ah yeah. No traffic sounds here. There's some building sounds as they're still building houses, but that doesn't go on at night at least. I like the way my keyboard sounds~ The keys are all flat; so it's not that loud clacking noise.
Hope you can find it.

Wren is used to being by herself... in quiet. Wren reads a lot, so Wren likes quiet. Though, there are phases when Wren listens to music really loudly. Like right now. Wren is one of the last people still in the dorms on campus because Wren can't leave until tomorrow. Wren could only get a ride for tomorrow.

@Ren: For Spring Break?
I don't like things to be overly loud. Like... a club. But at home I can go either way. Music, no music~
@Nim-san: Hahah. xDD Awww, boo, you couldn't find that one though.
