Split ends occur when the ends of your hair are weak and damaged and/or unhealthy. They pretty much look like what they are called; split ends. They basically look like a Y at the end or crabgrass. o3o

lol, I doubt only women use flat irons. I know some guys who use them too...the ones with long-enough hair to use them, anyway. I once had a hair stylist use a flat iron on my hair, and ended up scalding my neck with it.

yeah, there are plenty of guys who use it. But I think women use it most of the time.

See, that's the kind of thing I'm scared of. I hate hair blow driers because I hate the hot air in my face.
I'm curious to see what a hot iron would do to my hair, but then I'm not because I'd be scared it'd burn off my hair or burn me.
I rather just let it be free or put it up in a pony tail or side pony tail.

Also, I don't know how women do those upside down braid things. Just....I've seen it, but it confuzzelds me how they can do it and not mess up.

The only guys I know that use "flat irons " or whatever, are my friends that wear mohawks, because straightening their hair makes it easier for them to put their hair in that style.

it's like, when they flip their hair over their face and braid it.
I just tried it and it looked ridiculous.
I failed.
I took pictures and my face probably looks weird because I was trying not to laugh and today I'm not very photogenic.
