It's a shame you don't live around where I do, they still play it on the local station so a youtube search would be far from necessary.
Even my younger brother, who's only into classical music, knows all the words at this point.
@Lan: They might still play it on the radio here. I stay inside all day with my own music/television/etc... so I don't listen to the local radio much.
-listens- Hey, I kind of like this song.
@Ikuto - It's definitely a good party song, but hearing my normally straight-laced brother let loose and sing it in the shower has ruined it for me. Or made it. I'm still not quite sure. xD
What do you listen to instead? I'm always hunting for new music that's different than the top 40s I'm usually exposed to. :3
I've been tempted on more than one occasion, although the last thing I want is a blackmail war. The kid's sneaky. :ninja:
And of course! But I sing all the time (never well ) so I'm not embarrassed about it. (:
Both? :D
I'm willing to give anything a shot at least once!
You are a mind reader.
This is literally the perfect song for my mood right now.<3
The strong beat right at the start got me hooked, and then it's the right amount of mellow but with the extra instrumentation (around 3:45 comes to mind) is perfection. (:
Plus the almost breathy? quality the singer has to their voice is something I gravitate towards naturally.
No idea what they are singing, but heck if I didn't enjoy it. xD
Are a lot of their songs like this? If so, I may have found a new band thanks to you! :D
Aww yay~
I love that song. Every thing you mentioned about it~ <3
I listened to it on repeat for a whole day when I was feeling down. Lmao. May or may not be a good idea. -shrug-
Oh and here's the lyrics: JpopAsia Lyrics
Um.. I think they have a variety of styles. They do kind of have that odd... "softness/darkness?" to them though. At least, I think they do.
This was the first song of theirs I listened to and loved.
Different from the first one though.
It's hard for me to say much on bands though because I focus on just songs.
Hahaha, I do the same thing. (: Sometimes you just kind of need to let the music wash over you, I've always been a bit of a sulker so music helps me out with that when I just don't feel like dealing with people. xD
And I agree with you about that. Especially for Kuuchuu Buranko, and even for Ghost which although it's more aggressive still has that underlying quality.
And I really am enjoying this band so far, I actually consider it a plus that they can perform in a number of styles, it keeps things from sounding too similar and means that hopefully they'll always have something new to share. :3
That's actually what frustrates me the most, when it's the third or fourth album and nothing has changed since the first. Bands need to grow just like people! xD
Sorry for the pokey reply, I was locked in an intense game of Menewsha tetris and didn't spot your response until a few minutes ago. :3
Yay. I'm glad I was able to help you find something new. :D
I don't mind bands changing, mostly because I don't really follow them. If I like the music, I'll listen, if not, then I won't.
No biggie. Oh gosh, another Tetris lover, are you?
Hahaha that's a good way to look at it. (:
But I get attached, and part of me is always paranoid that if they change too much I won't be able to find something similar agian. xD I'm quite the needy fan when it comes to bands I really care about, although I pay them back for it by buying their CDs and attending concerts, so I like to think that it evens out in the end. :3
Not just a lover, and addict.
Although Menewsha is seriously not helping, at forty gold per game it's my most lucrative adventure yet. But the forums are more fun. xD
Unfortunately I have to get going, but it was wonderful talking to you, Ikuto and thank you for the new music. (:
I'll have to repay the favor one of these days. ^-^
