I don't think that people should date before high school. If you like a boy, get to know him as a friend first to make sure he isn't secretly an asshole. The extra time taken will save you a lot in the long run if you figure out he is a jerk before you get romantically involved.

Thirteen is way too young! I remember I was just getting to know myself,I wasn't very confident in myself or anything like that! So you're mom is really just taking care of you momo,remember she's gone trough this herself. You should ask her to tell you stories about her old boyfriends,my Mom does that all the time . It's great! You learn about dating and your mom at the same time!

I didn't lose my virginity till I was 19, with my first boyfriend [that i was with in real life finally], and I called to tell my parents that news cause for some reason sounded like an ok idea, and they're like "Oh? We thought you were having sex already." ;____;

I was nineteen as well when I lost my virginity- I didn't have my first kiss until I was 18. I do not regret it at all. I did start dating (online) at 15, so I am glad that I started dating on the internet and not in real life because I might have been pushed to start doing things earlier than I was ready for.

I know plenty about my mom! and I don't want to talk about dating with her! :gonk: its..weird. There is only an eight maybe nine year old boy here, ther will NEVER be a boy around my age around here..unless someone moves in net door and they have a hot 14 year old boy. :ninja:

I lost mine at 14 because I was pressured into it--it gave me nightmares for a really long time. I was really screwed up sexually because of it through most of high school. I felt worthless and basically like the only worthwhile part of me was my vagina.

I'm starting to get over it in these past few years, but I made a few sexual mistakes last year, and...While I don't outright regret most of them--one of them I was essentially raped and I didn't do anything about it--now THAT I regret.

I was in college for a few months, didn't drink, nor smoke nor have sexy times at all. :P

I got my first kiss when I was twelve. I was the "wicca goth girl" at summer camp cos I wore dark clothes and was reading up on alternative religions.

Yea, I knew that momo was homeschooled, but I knew a lot of kids that were homeschooled that then went to public high school. Its probably best momo that you wait until you go to university...as long as you don't hook up at a frat party..
