It's nice to see the good customers, who are kind and let me take things a little slowly so I can remember everything. Scan everything, bag the items right, push the right buttons, make the right change, grab the recepiet and change at once and place the bags in the cart (if there is one) after pushing the register back in.

My college is holding this 'dream ball' so I get all dressed up (make-up and everything) to go. Turns out that one of the major roads there is having rail road tracks redone or something so there's a detour. The there's another detour. My Mom (who's driving) is getting increasingly upset. She starts going into her "I'm a failure" spiel because I mention that maybe she should get a GPS, which we can't currently afford since she lost her job. We end up fighting most of the first hour. Normally this trip takes 20 minutes but the detour messed everything up. She even ends up sniping at me that I'm like my father, who doesn't have parental rights even, because I gave bad directions. (I think she just misunderstood them though) THEN we can't find the place. It turns out it's hidden behind the Sam Ash and you have to go through the other parking lot. Then we find out there's no one there. Violet (my little sister) checks her ticket and finds out it's NEXT WEEK. All the people in SGA were adamant it was today, so we didn't think of checking. On top of it all, there was supposed to be food there so we hadn't bothered eating beforehand. So we had to turn around and go home, starving. And on top of that I can't even go next week because there's a really big trip in field biology where we're staying overnight camping.

Yeah, it sucks. What really sucks is my Mom has been REALLY depressed lately and she takes EVERYTHING the wrong way. Like her therapist suggested she go on disability, and she's acting like she's telling her to give up on ever finding a job again.

Life can get rough sometimes, I hope your mom pulls through.

I LOVE English accents. I grew up on PBS so I watched a fair bit of British people in serious roles.
