"Until they wise up and call Aaron," Dawn replied. "He's the oldest. Well... Okay, of my mortal brothers he's the oldest. Regardless, the way things work in the cabin is the oldest is in charge, and Aaron's older than I am."

"Yeah." Seth shrugged. "Well, we'll see what happens, won't we?" He shook his head a little.

"I'll try to convince them not to shoot you," Dawn said, leaning against him.

"Thanks. I'd appreciate some warning too, if they are going to shoot me." Seth grinned. "I can run pretty fast."

"I'll warn you, I promise," Dawn replied, grinning a bit. She hesitated for a moment, and then kissed his cheek.

Seth smiled and moved so he could wrap his other arm around her, holding her loosely in case she wanted to move.

Dawn leaned against him, relaxed.

"We're going to have to head back soon," she said after a little while. "Dinner and then bonfire and all that."

"Yeah, I know. Oh well." Seth shrugged. "I won't get too concerned yet. No need to." He stayed where he was for the moment.

"I might make one of my brothers lead the bonfire tonight," Dawn mused. "Maybe Alexander, or Jackson. They need the practice. Kevin and Jake will start next year."

Seth nodded. "Tonight would be a good night. Everyone's pretty relaxed."

"Yeah," Dawn replied. "We'll see if we get any 'requests,' and go from there." She grinned. "I still need to tease Jason a bit, too..."

Seth snickered. "Have fun with that," he said with a grin. "Sounds like he needs teasing once in a while."

"I need to get my revenge for the last three or four days," Dawn said. "So I'm going to play that song and then sit back and watch the fireworks."

Seth chuckled. "Well, shall we head back before someone else comes looking for us?"

Dawn nodded and reluctantly slipped out of his arms.

"Isn't there a round of capture the flag this afternoon anyways?" she asked.

"Umm... I think so," Seth admitted. "I'm not sure, though."

"Then I should get back," Dawn replied. "Cabin leader and all that... If we're lucky, we can team up with Athena cabin again." She grinned. "We won last time because of that."

Seth snickered. "You should see if you can get Nika to play. She'd probably have fun terrorizing everyone on the opposing team."

"She actually said she'd team up with my cabin, because we never ally ourselves with Ares cabin," Dawn replied. "She said it would be amusing to see her siblings' reactions."

"Well, there you go. Go remind her of that and then you'll definitely win." Seth grinned.

"I wonder if that's considered fair...?" Dawn mused. "I suppose the only team that would be more unfair is if Athena cabin and Ares cabin made friends together. Nobody would ever win after that."

"Ha, no. The best strategy with the best warriors? I don't think we'd even try." seth shook his head. "That would be so unfair."

"Yeah," Dawn agreed. "I think everyone else would just kind of look at each other and then forfeit. There's just no contest."

Seth nodded his agreement, and let go of her with some regret. "Well, we'd better go get ready."

"Yeah." Dawn stood up, not wanting to leave. She grinned. "Dibs on Athena cabin."
