"Just stay with me," Dawn said softly. "Don't you dare quit on me now or so help me, I'll drag you back by your belt." And she meant that; she'd done something similar to one of her brothers once. It wasn't that hard.

Seth quirked a grin. "'m okay," he mumbled. "Just a bit farther."

Because if it was more than that he wasn't sure he would make it.

Dawn moved a bit closer to him and put an arm around his waist, moving his around her shoulders.

"You can make it," she said. "I won't let you do anything else."

Seth nodded and just kept walking. He could see the exit from there. He was practically almost there.

But still the only reason he got out at all was because Dawn half-hauled him the last half dozen steps or so.

Dawn knew when she'd successfully gotten him out: he vanished and left her looking out over the reflecting pool. It was dark by now, but that didn't matter as she checked her weapons and darted out to the last place she'd seen him. She just needed to get back to him again.

Jason kept an eye on Seth's body, humming hymns to both Apollo and Asclepius to make sure nothing went bad about the body. As much as he disliked it, he would do it if it made his sister happy. And plainly, Seth made his sister happy. So he would put up with the Hermes spawn if he had to.

Seth gasped and rolled over onto his side, coughing for a few moments as he got used to being in his body again. He ached everywhere.

"Oh gods how the hell did Nika do this?" he grumbled, rolling over flat onto his back again. He felt like he'd just been run over by an eighteen-wheeler and then trampled by a stampede of buffalo.

"Just rest for a few minutes," Jason said, going over and putting a hand on Seth's shoulder and used his power to check his vitals. Right now, he could be a healer rather than an overprotective brother. "Give yourself a few minutes to regulate again. You were gone for a while."

"I gathered." Seth groaned quietly and closed his eyes. "What happened?"

"After you went down, I ran like hell," Jason replied. "Came back once it was safe to see if there was anything I could do. Dawn came down a little while later, I sent her on out to get you, and I've been sitting here ever since." He shrugged. "I've been able to hear fighting, so I can only assume Nika's having a good time."

Seth nodded. "Okay. Sounds good to me." He closed his eyes, focusing on breathing for a few minutes, just waiting for Dawn to get back. He'd be happier once this was all over and they could go back to camp.

"Think they're ever going to let us stop saving the world now?"

"Probably not," Jason replied. "We proved we're too good at it." He glanced over when he heard footsteps dashing up the stairs and tensed, then relaxed again when Dawn came barreling through the doorway.

"Seth!" she threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around him and clinging close.

Seth coughed weakly when she almost managed to squish him, but he hugged her back just as tightly.

"See? Alive again. And trust me, I won't be dying again for a long time."

"Don't ever do that to me again!" Dawn said as she held on to him. "Ever."

"Not planning on it," Seth said fervently. "Really, you don't have to worry about me. I'll be good." Plus he really, really didn't want to see Hades again any time soon. Ever would be preferable, but a long time was a good substitute.

Jason gagged theatrically, but got up and headed towards the sounds of fighting from earlier. He knew when he wasn't needed anymore, and this once, he didn't mind giving his sister some time alone with Seth. He and the Hermes-guy were almost kind-of-sort-of friends now, so he could give them that little bit of leeway. Checking his arrows habitually, he headed further upstairs to see what was going on.

Nika was still seated on the floor, the Aphrodite kid hog-tied and blindfolded across the room. Because her older half-siblings weren't protective or anything. Calix, Deimos, and Phobos had almost finished binding Pan, because they couldn't kill the bastard.

Ares popped in, looking ready to jump into a fight. "Who the hell did this?" he demanded.

"They did," Calix answered calmly, kicking Pan once.

"Oh." Ares deflated a little.

"Don't worry, it's cool, we've got it under control." Calix shrugged and watched as Phobos and Deimos hauled Pan upright.

Ares scowled briefly before he turned to check Nika over, ignoring her curses and swatting at him. "You sound horrible."

"You try getting into a fight with a primal force," Nika grumbled.

"I can probably fix that," Jason commented from the doorway. He made sure to stay well out of the way of the gods in the room, and he hesitated in even calling attention to himself, but he was a healer, he was practically required to offer to help. And it was Nika. That was just a given.

Nika waved them both off, coughing a little. "'m fine," she mumbled.

"You're not fine. Pan did his damndest to crush your windpipe. And would have if you weren't one of mine." Ares looked like he wasn't sure if he wanted to have a go at Pan or be proud of the fact that Nika was still alive, and settled on a mix of the two. He only glanced at Jason long enough to determine that yes, this was the same kid, before he pointed to Nika. "Heal. Now."

"Yessir," Jason replied, almost automatically. He blinked at that for a second, then shook it off and went over to Nika.

"Just hold still for a second," he said to her. Gently, he laid a hand on her throat and got to work. Her windpipe was the worst of it, to be sure, but he could still detect some cracked ribs and more than a few bone and deep-muscle bruises underneath all of the superficial surface damage, so he worked methodically until he'd healed everything he could.

Nika held still while he worked, feeling better already. "Thanks," she said quietly, shooting him a quick smile. She could tell she wasn't quite fully healed, but it was better than she'd expected, honestly.

Ares looked at the two for a moment before he rolled his eyes and went to go help his other kids get rid of Pan. Because that needed to be done too.

"The bruises may take a few more days to heal completely," Jason said as he helped her to her feet, "but I got the worst of it. You don't have any more fractures, at least, and the deep bruising is gone."

"Thanks. You didn't have to do that much," Nika said quietly. "I would have healed." But she was grateful for his help anyway. Life was generally more pleasant when she wasn't working around fractured bones.

"But this way you healed faster," Jason replied. He couldn't help but glance around warily. It was unnerving, being in an enclosed space with so many of Nika's immediate family. It could go very wrong very fast and he would have no way out and he knew it. Thankfully, none of them seemed to be after his skin yet.

Nika nodded and got up slowly, grabbing Jason when the world wobbled and tilted dangerously. Four sets of eyes cut over to the two before deciding that Jason was not an immediate threat.

"Ow. Time to go home yet?" Nika got her arm over Jason's shoulders, more because she needed the support than anything. But being close to him didn't hurt either.

Jason put an arm around her waist and nodded. Oh yeah, he enjoyed being close to her, too.

"Yeah," he said. "Come on, we can probably crash at my sister's place." He grumbled something about having to find his sister with Seth again, but helped Nika towards the door anyways.
