What are you afraid of? Know anyone with a strange phobia?

I am deathly afraid of insects and spiders. Those things creep me up! I know my brother has a phobia of spiders. My sister has a phobia of cats. My mom is DEATHLY afraid of rats, mice, small things with tails. My dad is afraid of needles. And I know my friend is afraid of dying at any random moment in time. :3

As much as I love zombies, they also terrify me. Most of my nightmares involve them.

I'm afraid of crowds. If I'm stuck in a crowd, I always imagine they will suddenly turn on me and trample me, or something of the sort.
I don't know why, though. It just scares the crap outta me.

I hate worms. I can't walk outside just after its had a long, good, rain because I can barely stand to look at them. The hair on the back of my neck stands up and I basically act like a scared cat and bolt in the other direction. I don't know what it is, to be honest. I'm pretty much the same way with centipedes.

I am afraid of wasps..or hornets. Everything about them bugs me. Their striped yellow and black coloring, their buzzing. Their shape. They just look scary. Perhaps it might have to do with having a wasp fly into my mouth once when these kids decided to have am hay day throwing rocks at a wasp nest.

Big fire and fireworks.
I can handle candles and fireplaces and I even like them, but bigger than that and I will freak out.

I'm mildly afraid of heights. I'm fine if I'm in an airplane or something, but I have a really hard time with something like, climbing into a barn loft, for instance. And I'm fine with looking down from heights, but I really have a problem when I start to look upward. Everything starts to feel like it's spinning and I have to hold onto something in order to keep my balance. I sweat and start getting worried that I'm going to fall, so I have to force myself sit down and take deep breaths in order to calm myself down.
I guess it's kind of like vertigo, but not really.

I have so many fears, omg... Well my biggest fear is people around me dying. It is my biggest fear, all of the time I imagine it, tis horrible for me and to me and just err.
My second biggest fears are ticks and leeches. Blood sucking parasites of death... If I see one, I will run away screaming and crying.
Other things are crowds, change of any kind, and probability... I am so afraid of everything.
I have very bad OCD and every time things are dirty, or a room changes, or I don't make things equal, or anything like that... I absolutely freak out into tears and I just can not deal with it.
I try very hard to be a happy person though :)

For some reason I can't get on down escalators.
I don't really like up ones either, but if I time the steps for a few I can usually hop on eventually. But down ones give me panic attacks.
I hate plugging stuff in, too.

I'm terrified of ants. >.>
I had a bad experience with one as a child. I never liked bugs that much when I was younger in the first place, but when I was about two, all day I had a strange pain in between my toes, and it wouldn't go away. Finally I removed my sock and found a huge ant inside, biting me. I still can't stand them; I think it's because I was so young when it happened.
I also have somewhat of a phobia of aliens. Mainly because my dad would frequently have the television turned to all the unexplained and paranormal shows when I was a kid, and I saw a program about alien abduction when I was like seven. I also used to be terrified of spontaneous combustion for the same reason; fortunately, I pretty much forgot that one over the years. xD
I don't really like deep water if I can't see the bottom, either, although I wouldn't call it a phobia.

@Avatre- just don't watch, initially. Once you're used to the sensation you can look a little, but if it makes you nauseous, just listen to music or close your eyes and meditate.
I LOVE tats. I have three! I'm still not super good with needles at the doctor's office but I'm getting braver as time goes on.
I still tend to get kinda dizzy after blood draws tho.

No, that makes sense. I love nighttime in general, but I hate being alone, outside at night. Freaks me out. I also have a tendency to get paranoid in the dark... Like, if I'm coming up to bed and the lights are off downstairs, I feel like something might be following me. Creepy.

Oh gosh. I'd say mine are a bit odd, except for the few common ones I'd say I have.
Well... most of them aren't bad enough to be considered a phobia though... I think.
I'm scared of spiders. That fear definitely isn't bad enough to be considered a phobia, but it may have been at one point.
My fear of using the telephone was a phobia for most of my life. I've been getting better with this one. It's pretty mild now.
I do have a paradox-y one as well. I love love love to be in small spaces, but have a phobia of not being able to move because of said small spaces. I can't even be tightly wrapped in blankets because I have terrible panic attacks when I am.
Heh, I also have that one with the dark. Feels like you're being chased even though you know you're not. Mine isn't to the phobia degree though.
I used to be so bad with needles that it took about three or four nurses to hold me down to give me my shots. I don't know if I'd consider it a phobia... but now I'm good as long as I don't look. Took my mom threatening to not take me trick or treating one year when I had to get a shot on Halloween for me to pretty much get over it. Now it's just a slight internal struggle.

I... am very afraid of porous things. Like, that frog that keeps its babies on its back? They're under this flap of skin that has a bunch of holes. When they're ready to get on with their lives, they jump out of the holes in the skin >_____<

When I had to have minor surgery on my feet(ingrown toenails SUCK!), I watched for most of it, even the needles that the doctor had to put in to freeze my toes. The needle, I swear, was at least 2 inches long. It had to reach the bottom of the toe...when inserterd from top, and there was still some of the needle left. That was an awkward...and painful feeling. I hated having to get those needles, but I knew it was for the better....well, until they grew back ingrown....3 times. >.<

The needles in a tat gun are a LOT smaller, and they move so fast you only feel a sort of annoying sensation, like a cat scratch. It's not that bad.

I have a phobia of vomiting. That's about the only thing that will send me into a sobbing panic. And this isn't just a mild "Oh, I don't like it," it's a full-blown phobia.
It really sucks because I can't go out to eat (What if the food isn't cooked right? What if someone on the staff is sick?), I can't go to theme parks (too many people with too many germs), I'm afraid of rooming with other people (Someone might get sick!), and I have to carry around a little bottle of sanitizer with me at all times.
It's pretty messed up, but I've heard it isn't extremely uncommon.
