Or E-machine or Acer...or even Toshiba (although I don't like the crap they put on the toshiba though but I do like my mini that is of that brand).

Or even Alien...but that is HIGHLY expensive...which is why I don't even have one. XD

Alien is way too expensive. But I'll take a look at the others.

I still love gateway...followed by emachine...or at least this emachine that I am currently on since it is the only emachine I have never crashed. XD

I've never had an Acer but they are nice little computers.

Mom's current laptop is an Acer and it is good. The positioning of the touchpad drives her nuts, though.

The touchpad on my toshiba mini drives me nuts! It doesn't have a section for the scroll bar so sometimes the scroll part works and sometimes it doesn't...just depends on if it likes you or not. XD That's really the only thing I don't like about it...other than it is slow...but all minis are.

I don't mind the speed of the mini, but mine keeps screwing up. How annoying!

Aww...it is easy to screw up a mini...or at least me...because there is not enough memory or a fast enough processor speed...maybe in the future...

For me... On this one, everything just goes wrong.

And I can't remember, did you buy that one new or used? Because I remember when you were looking you were talking about one that was new and one that was used...but I don't remember what was what. XD

I loathe HP with a passion. I've never liked it.

HP was great with my first laptop, it held up like a tank. Now... Meh... Never again.

HP was the brand of the desktop my dad turned on a couple of months after he got it and it smoked up. XD

Ever since then, he basically builds his own desktops.

Umm...the only experience I have with those are in schools...and those are junk computers. And I normally crashed them. XD

One of the main brands my dad works on are Dells...but he also says Dell is one of the main brands people buy...so...I don't really know...but if it has at least a 2.5 processor speed and 4gb of ram...it should be fine...maybe...if it is a laptop and not a mini.

One of the original laptops I was looking at was the Dell Studio (14 inch), that is why I was asking.

I remember looking at the studio...they were pieces of crap because they had nothing to them. :/ Although they may be different now....I'd go looking but I'm looking for photos to photoshop and print out so I can draw from them...

Looks like the Dell Studio is retired anyways. XP

I need to get a computer and start doing that. I have a binder around here somewhere with a bunch of poses that I printed off. Not sure where it is exactly, but I know it is within three different rooms.

Yeah, and I have to go work on my granny's front yard, get supplies and do a project and clean my room as well as move furniture around.
