Today I noticed that Sims is much more fun when your boyfriend is there to cuddle with you.

so many small things make me ridiculously happy - to the point that i've been asked if i'm drunk when i'm not a fair bit because of it. >___<

☆ sunshine.
☆ bus rides.
☆ taking off in planes.
☆ sunsets (and sunrises, but mostly sets).
☆ being told that i make people happy.
☆ the ocean.
☆ city lights/driving or walking through the city at night.
☆ seeing friends/couples being happy together.
☆ certain songs.
☆ tons more, but i'll shut up now. ^^;


i put this down to the fact that i have some quite serious health issues that i developed in my teen years and cause me pain constantly. at first it made me incredibly depressed, but now it just means that i really appreciate all the little things around me, which is something i never used to take the time to do before. (:

The little boy I sit for gave me three exuberant hugs in a row the second he saw me today. His sisters had a terrible night-- I really do think that the youngest sister might need counseling, because she has the beginnings of an eating disorder and severe problems with anxiety...

The rest of the night was insane!

But that little boy and his hugs. Gosh, I love them. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I have a good relationship with the little ones I watch. Being able to make them happy just by existing? Awesome. :)

Killing George Romaro in Call of The Dead on Black Ops. My friends and I have been trying for the longest time to kill him, and we never could in Co-op mode. But myself, at wave 9, I finally killed him. Im so happy and giddy that I did that, Im going to try and help my friends kill him, and hopefully we can do the "Easter Egg" thing in it.

Today is really, really, really hot. >__<; on the brightside, we've got some water guns!! ^^ Yayy.

Today, while talking with my Chef at work, I found out that we ran all last week with a total of 10% labour cost(with previous Chef we would be running over 30%). Also, we started cracking the "Thats what she said!" jokes tonight because the three of us in the kitchen(it was the same three that did lunch too) were getting tired, and running low on energy. A good laugh turns things around quite nicely. Oh, and finding out that we did a $5,000 day(lunch and dinner), with only a total of 4 people in the kitchen(baker doesnt work the line at lunch, and doesnt work nights) was also really good. Shows that we have a good team going. xD

The last few months haven't been good for me. My best friend has been in a coma, my grades at school aren't getting any better, and I'm having a lack of inspiration to draw - something I mostly love doing. But yesterday was different. I bought my lunch plug at my school's cafeteria, and, later, when I was getting the meal, the woman that gets our plug forgot to even ask about it. I know it isn't much and it isn't quite "right", but... I won the week. I got really happy with that, I tel you.

Today has been a -very- good day, lots of little things have popped up. (:

1. I've applied for a fourth job today, fingers crossed for an interview.
2. I managed to get front row tickets to see one of my favourite comedians (who cares if the show is in December?!).
3. I got lots of cuddles from my boyfriend today.
4. I have nearly £100 in the bank.
5. My exams are finally over for another year!

I've got a crush. Nothing feels better than that fluttery feeling you get when you really, really like someone. c: It totally makes up for the fact that this month hasn't been the greatest.

I've just started a yoga class and I think it'll save my life. Not from suicide, but from stress and exhaustion.

I just ran for the first time in months. Fuck everything-- I missed running. :heart:

I'm having pork chops for dinner...need I say more? xDD

Getting together with people from work, away from the histle and bustle of work, and just enjoying the weather. THATS what makes me happy(even though it hasnt happened yet, but is happening sunday). Not to mention, getting to know someone I could see myself dating better and better. And getting along with her brother. xD

I had a severe tummyhurt last night. But my person came over wearing black slacks and suspenders and a black dress shirt with dress shoes and black glasses and he brought tiny pastries and tarts and strawberries in a little container and then he ditched the clothes, climbed into bed in his skivs and held me really close while I delusionally rambled about my tummyache and how nice he smelled. :sleep: :heart:

Today, I woke up to my fat cat sitting on my face. Every time I pushed her off, she climbed back on. It made me laugh. I also heard about Sims 3 Pets coming out! :heart:

I accomplished cat eye eyeliner on myself for the first time without it looking like utter crap. I've been trying to get that right for years!
