It is not the music. It is not the artist. It is not anything else. It is simply the video. I'm not going to say "oh Willow what have you done?!" because I know the girl didn't direct it herself, I mean, she's like eight or something. But whoever had the idea to... Turn the song into that... Don't get me wrong, the concept is good; the execution however, is poor. It almost gave me seizures at certain points.
I also detest song videos that are completely unrelated to the message of the song. That's all I see these days and it drives me mental, it does.
That Willow video makes me laugh every time I watch it.
However, in general, I don't watch music videos. I'm around for the music, I don't care about someone else's imagery, it's all about SOUND and what you make of it yourself. That's the beauty of music.
I don't really like most music videos these days. >.>
I don't know what it is exactly, but something about most of them just seems kind of... cold and emotionless, I guess, about most of them. And it seems like most music videos just consist of people dancing around half-naked for the most part anymore anyway. And, something about them seems somewhat creepy to me, for some reason. Especially Lady Gaga's and similar artists'. I suppose I'm probably the only person my age that feels this way though. o.o
I tend to prefer videos by lesser-known bands and musicians, and older ones. The quality isn't usually quite as good, but a lot of the time they seem to have more sincerity and creativity behind them, in my opinion.
I don't really know any particularly bad videos to post, though.

I actually wanted to post one of Gaga's videos--but I was afraid I might get warned for posting sexually explicit content, so I'm waiting until I can find another video instead--but in general, I agree with you!
It's not really a bad video, just so boring and bland and not at all matching with the song. If it were really bad it would at least be a bit entertaining or amusing but this is just so lifeless and out of place for this cover song that it's mind numbingly painful. But I think boring videos are worse than just plain bad ones anyway.
Couple that with the sucky cover of a disney song and you've got this bit of teen pop vomit.
Look. I love, love, LOVE The Police and Sting. But jesus. They made the most awful and bland and boring videos ever back in the day. XD I'd rather hear the songs without the videos. :P
Don't know the song name but Lady Gagas(sp) new one I like the song but the video ixs 7minutes of crazy. To long for me. "I was born to be" maybe thats the name??
