Mordecai kissed her, and got up. "I'm looking for a fight....think I'll go kick Aries asss. Wanna watch.?"he asked

"no I good." Finx chuckled "I'll stay here with the babies...oh and try beating brother." she nodded to her older brother.

(Time skip.)

At the end of the day, Aries and Finxs brother were on the ground, both beaten to a pulp. Mordecai was rubbing his fists, not a scratch on him. All gods and goddesses were watching.

"Ok people shows over." Finx chuckled "He should fight grandpapa." Clara voiced and everyone froze. "No." Finx said shivering. "No way." Clara pouted "I like Grandpa." she sighed.

"Who is Grandpa?" he asked her.

"No one." Finx answered quickly then whimpered as the sun was blotted out by shadows.

Mordecai looked around.

"Yay grandpa." Clara clapped and giggled the hugged a shadow that formed next to her slowly it transformed into a older man who hugged her back chuckling.

Mordecai bowed to the figure. "Hello, sir. "he said.

"A new face." Her grandfather grinned "You should show me your toys more often Rena." he slid his gaze to Finx was swallowed. "hai grandfather." she was shaking gripping his hand tightly. "What is your name then?" he caught sight of there children "A God and Goddess." he knelt and smiled at them then growled he struck Finx sending her to the ground. "How dare you hide this from me. Half God, half angel I knew you had questionable taste but to let one of those things touch you like that. You know the rules pumpkin." he manner chanced as she helped Finx to her feet kissing her cheek where he had struck her. "But I will forgive you because they are wonderful children."


grandfather

Mordecai grabbed the man by his spline, and held him there. "I will give you too the count of 5 to step away, before you die like Cronos. Please, step away from my wife."he said, sounding 'really' pissed.

Her grandfather vanished and reappeared behind him. "Tuttut. Reny doesn't mind do you?" he grinned at her. " No grandfather I broke a rule I deserved your light punishment." Finx clung to Mordecai begging him not to start anything with her eyes.

"Your rules have gotten your people nearly exterminated"he said, looking back, saying 'this has to be done' with his eyes. "Where have your 'rules' gotten you, except usurped more then once, and a race that keeps abandoning you."he said. Something was different about Mordecai, but no one would be able to place it.

"Oh those weren't my rules." Her grandfather chuckled " Those were my children's I told them not to mess with the humans." he glanced at the group and they shrunk away. " Come Rena I wish to catch up." he grinned. Finx nodded "Hai grandfather." she knew what it really meant but she was to scared of him to say no.

"You've taken these people's freedom through fear."he said, and you watch four figures step out of the crowds. They were newish gods, all of them very powerful. "Now your going to give it back."

"Leave it." Finx begged him "Please." she glanced at her grandfather who was eyeing him thoughtfully. "They are free to do what they wish." he smiled. "So long as I agree and most of them have brought on my wrath but not my sweet angel." he smiled at Clara. "Perhaps you all can learn something from her." he turned and walked off Finx at his heels.

An explosion would send him flying, not that it would do much. Mordecai finx to Clara. " keep her safe."he said. "You are not their masters, and we are not your slaves."he said. "You do not control us."

Finx gasped and then slapped Mordecai "Never harm grandfather." she snapped as Clara ran to check on him. Finx blinked then hugged him "I'm sorry love I didn't mean that." she crushed him to her.

"I'm not going to let him control you."he said

"it's fine he doesn't control us we're more scared of his temper." Finx kissed him gentle "I'm be back soon then we can have some along time." she whispered the lost part huskily into his ear.

"Alright."he said, kissing her cheek. When she was out of sight, he whispered to Vecna. "Follow them."he said. The little fly then followed them.

Finx helped her grandfather to his house and sat down they talked for a while then his hand went to her thigh. When she was Rena she would let him do whatever whenever and loved it but know she pulled away. "Please grandfather don't.'' he chuckled "My little minx has been tamed lets see if we can't fix that." he kissed her cheek.

Mordecai appeared with Vecna at his side. The Man would see the God of shadows, Goddess of destruction, and goddesss of Revoluikn behind him. "I'm going to make sure you die."he said.

"No don't." Finx shook her head. "it's fine he's so use to Rena giving in." she chuckled lightly. "Sorry grandfather I'll send Lilith in." she took Mordecai's hand and pulled him away.

Mordecai pulled away, and stared at the Old man. "Show me your power. All of it! "he said, and started powering up. "Don't hold back!"
