"Don't Mordecai." Finx looked scared. "Very well." he waved his hand and finx dropped to her knees gasping and aging before his eyes the air around him shifted and his hand glowed white. "Seems my no holding back is killing your love." he chuckled. "You did ask.''

A Strange force countered it, returning Finx to normal. "I may be young, but I'm not weak. I will grow stronger. I'll do better, be better, and fight the type of tyrant my predecessor was."he said.

"You do that I plan on sticking around to watch." He glanced at Finx. "You really love him don't you Ren?" Finx nodded "Then I will not touch you again. Go and send Lilith in." she sighed in relief and pulled Mordecai. "Come on."

"We're not the only ones tired of you, Old one. "He said. Suddenly you felt the presence of even more. It was hard to keep a number. "Are we to just let you do as you please?" he asked.

"Well I do what I want because I am the oldest and there father." He chuckled "I keep to myself unless I am called on. I just watch nothing they don't want."

"Old one, It's time to rest. You've lived long enough in this world. I think you're tired. "He said to him.

"If you wish to kill your wife." He grinned and glanced at Finx "the backlash from my death will kill all the Gods from my line."

"I can redirect it to take a single life: Mine to be exact. They live, but I will die. "he said to him.

"No." Finx clung to him. "You can't just leave it please."

"I don't want to see him hurt you again, I won't stand it! I want to protect you. "he said, taking her face.

"But I don't want to lose you." Finx sobbed.

Mordecai was at an Over-pass: It was a kill me if you do, kill me if you don't situation. He didn't know what to do.

"Let's go." Finx took his hand. "Grandfather is harmless." she took his arm and pulled.

He decided he would follow her.

Finx dragged him home "Stupid." she shoved him. "Idiot." she slapped his arm.

"What the hell did you expect? I don't want to lose you"he said

"Well I don't want to lose you." She snapped back hitting his arm harder.

"I don't trust that man alive! I don't know what he'll do! I just want you safe."he said

"He's fine when we rebuild the world he'll stay here it's just for a while longer and as long as you don't speak of him he won't bother us." Finx hugged him tightly.

Mordecai kissed her.

Finx kissed him back holding on to make sure he was still there.

He pushed her on the bed, kissing her.

Finx chuckled on the inside but let him do what he wanted not planning on complaining.
