Finx stirred "Hmm?"

"Feeling better?"he asked.

"A lot better." Finx kissed him softly. "Love you."

"I love you too."he said.

Finx stretched and stood "I'll cook this time."

"We'll need to head to the dead-lands. "he said, getting up. "With Cronos Dead, everyone is holding a Tournament for the Next King/Queen of Gods." he said.

"Liar." Finx grinned "Crono's stopped mattering when he was locked in hell we no longer needed him so we got rid of the position."

"Aries, Zeus, and all the other gods are getting together to pick someone for the position."he said, strapping on his armor. "Quick question: where can I find Haepetsthus? He promised to make me a weapon."he said

"What?! Grandfather will be furious." Finx pulled him down "You can't go." she sat on him.

"I need to change the way things are, and this is my best chance."he said

"NO!" Finx crushed his arm as shadows strapped him to the bed. "You will stay here and let grandfather deal with it."

Mordecai felt this, and this only served to make him more determined. With a flash of light, the shadows faded. "Your grandfather can go back to his castle, I need to change things, because as they are, we are only going on one path: destruction."he said

"You can't go out there not with grandfather so furious please just wait for him to calm down please." Finx was crying now.

"I'm about ten seconds away from killing him."he said, not seeing her ccrying." Why should we live in fear of him?"

"I'm afraid of losing you." Finx hiccupped sobbing slightly "He's powers are massive and if you go near him when he uses them you could die that's why he never comes around to protect us."

"I'm stronger then you think, love, and I'm not alone. The youngest gods have all rallied behind me. They know what's at stake, and the risks. They fight for freedom."he said

Finx shook her head "just wait please." she gripped his hand tightly.

"Wait for what?"he asked. "He'll be preoccupied with dealing with this who are already there, and that means he'll use some of his power. Well have a better chance dealing with him now, while he's distracted and weakened."he said.

Finx gasped suddenly and squeezed her eyes shut "He has already punished them as have the older Gods." she fell onto him sighing softly "They won't be able to move for a while but there ok."

"Then nows our chance. I had a feeling this would happen, so I told my coalition to hold back."he said. "We're at full strength, and we can win finx"he said

"We're fine.'' Finx nuzzled his chest "Safe and sound Grandfather will go back home and mother will cool off soon."

"Mother? Look, we need to do this, while we have a chance."he said, sitting her down. He then walked out, and awaited for haephetus to finish the weapon, which would only be a few moments.

"Doing something?" Her mother asked grinning slightly "Why do you hate us older Gods we created you as well as many other great things and we don't get in the way...or perhaps you don't know that the younger ones just want to end us so that they can be just like us. Selfish, cruel and stupid."

"I'm not here to kill you, I'm here to kill the old one. Your rule is forfeit. Time to be reclaimed by those with vision."he. Said
