"Heheh! It's good to see your spirit for adventure hasn't died. "He said, grinning. "but.....what are you going to do about your 'not so supportive' family?" He asked, looking at them. "Not that it's my place to say but, sense she is of age, you really can't force her to stop."

"I wasn't going to make her stop forever just till you went away." Her mom glared at him "But since thats clearly not going to happen I'll just settle for threatening you." she got in his face so only he could hear her. "I swear if my girl gets hurt I will make you life a living hell." she pulled away a smile on her face "Have fun you two." she pushed her husband and son upstairs "Back to bed."

Finx raised her eyebrow at him "what was all that whispering about?"

"I'm pretty sure she think's there's something going on between us.....As far as I know, their isn't "He said, scratching his head.

"Well if you count exploring there is." Finx said with a shrug. "My moms just protective."

"No, I think she think's we're dating, or something. Trust me, your cute and all, but I wouldn't want to jeprodize our mutual friendship. "he said, floating upside down.

Finx found herself oddly dissapointed "Well I wouldn't call it friendship more like we have to get along because we're on the same exploration team."

"That's why I said 'mutual friendship' "He said. He then got up. "why do you look disappointed?" he asked.

"i do?" Finx slapped her face "Stupid face." she mumbled "She was disappointed but she couldn't explain why.

"Your strange, but cute "he said, rubbing her head. He then looked around. "What should we do now ?" he asked.

"Go to bed?" Finx said with a sigh.

"I guess......"He said, then his phone rang. "Hello?.....yea, okay......why us?.......uh, alright...bye?" he clicked it off. "Guild master want's to see us in the morning. Wouldn't tell me why "He said.

Finx groaned "Fine wake me up in the morning." she headed up to her bed.

He went with her, and laid down on the floor. He was uncomfurtable, but he wanted to be near finx.

Finx glared at him but she was to tired to argue with him just hit him with a pillow before falling asleep.

(Next morning)

Mordecai was cooking in the kitchen for the family. He wanted to prove his worth, so he decided to cook for them. He knew they'd probably be hungry. He also found the coffee, and started to make some.

Finx come down with her mother follow shortly after her. "Good morning." her mom said with a smile

"Morning...."He said, placing a plate of food in front of finx. "Coffee's almost ready. Il have your plate made in a minute...." he said,

Her mom sat "Its nice to have someone cook for us." she gared at her husband and son who had walked in.

"Oh, they gotta cook for themselve's. I'm a gentlemen, not a house-maid....though, with the wing's, i'd probably be good at that. "He said. He then sat down, and looked at the mother. "before you started treating me like a Taboo, I was meaning to ask you. Have you any clue why I lost my memory, or how? if so, how do I get it back?" he asked.

"Well no not really I don't know much about what you are." She glanced at her husband and son then lowered her voice. "I think it would be best if you keep you're angelness between us."

"I thought as much, which is why I have my wing's bound by leather strap's "he said, tapping them. "If i could just figure out just who the hell I am, I'd be out of your hair.....as soon as Finx get's her name on the stone of history "he said.

"Well at least you know you're name." She said with a shrug. Finx smiled "I don't know about the whole rock of history."

"I read about it back at the guild. All the People who graduate from the guild place their name on it, and are considered First-class explorer's. You'd also have your name written down in history forever. Who doesn't want that? "he asked. "There's also that thing where time was supposed to be stopping. You don't think it could be related, do ya?" he asked the women.

"Time stopping?" Her mom said "I just got up can crazy talk wait till later?"

Finx grinned at least she knew were she got it from. "I don't really care about being famous only to have fun."
